Trollbeads collezione primavera 2021"Essenza della Vita", la mia recensione - Trollbeads Spring 2021 collection "New Wisdom", my review

Come consuetudine, Trollbeads inaugura l'anno con una nuova collezione.

Questa volta si presenta molto ricca, soprattutto in beads in vetro: ben tre nuovi set, di cui uno di vetri sfaccettati.

Probabilmente causa il possente ritiro (quasi trecento referenze) di tanti beads a cui, a dire il vero, molti di noi erano affezionati.

Ma bando alla nostalgia ed entriamo subito nel vivo di questa nuova collezione "Essenza della Vita", partendo appunto dal primo set "Costellazione", dei designers Tenzin Phuntsok and Kalden Chophel, dove troviamo: Urano, Mercurio, Plutone, Universo, Sistema Solare e Madre Terra.

Prosegue la serie di vetri con le bolle iniziata con la precedente collezione invernale sempre dedicata ai pianeti, le cinque grandi bolle difatti sono la caratteristica che accomuna tutti e sei i beads.

Urano ha un colore di base verde oliva chiaro e copertura in turchese; visto di profilo la base appare lattiginosa e concava nei punti dove sono posizionate le bolle.

Mercurio in color champagne, trasparente.

Plutone in color azzurro, trasparente.

Universo ha un colore di base verde salvia chiaro e copertura color champagne.

Sistema Solare è in una tonalità di avorio panna; anch'esso visto di profilo ha base lattiginosa dove, nei punti concavi, ospita le bolle.

Madre Terra è in colore verde oliva chiaro; visto di profilo la base appare lattiginosa e concava nei punti dove sono posizionate le bolle.

Da catalogo Mercurio e Sistema Solare è facile confonderli poiché nelle foto istituzionali sembrano molto simili, in realtà Mercurio è totalmente trasparente, mentre Sistema Solare ha base lattiginosa.

Nell'insieme un set di colori neutri che si possono facilmente abbinare anche a temi differenti, riferiti magari alla natura.

Il set costa €170.

Il costo di ogni singolo bead è di €35.

Il secondo set "Protezione" dei designers Tenzin Phuntsok and Kalden Chophel, vede sei beads differenti tra loro che possono comunque coesistere.

Famiglia ha una base beige chiaro e motivi di righe che si intersecano in color avorio screziato marrone.

Abbraccio presenta una base viola e petali screziati in malva chiaro, beige ed ocra con al centro piccole bolle.

Anima ha una base in grigio chiaro e un motivo a zig-zag in avventurina ramata; visto di profilo rivela una base lattiginosa e concava a formare dei petali.

Armadillo Fantasia presenta il classico motivo che si rincorre, qui in grigio/verde e bianco; nella parte bianca sono presenti a decoro sei pois in beige.

Affetto è un vortice di colori che vanno dal bianco al verde, al giallo chiaro e scuro, con piccoli petali bianchi contenenti un fiorellino stellato a murrina.

Luce si presenta con base avventurina bronzata e righe orizzontali sottili in bianco.

Nell'insieme un set dalle tonalità calde. Su tutti spicca Armadillo Fantasia, un bead sempre molto apprezzato che in questa variante si fregia di un motivo a pois gradevole che lo contraddistingue dai precedenti.

Il set costa €225.

Il costo di ogni singolo bead è di €45.

Il terzo set "Essenza della Vita", della designer Neetu Gupta, che prende il nome dalla collezione, si compone di sei beads sfaccettati.

Fantasia si presenta con un colore di fondo turchese e copertura trasparente, con inclusi sprazzi glitter in avventurina ramata.

Razionalità ha righe orizzontali in colore nero, verde lime e sottili accenni in color glicine e in avventurina ramata.

Destino ricorda vagamente il bead Rami di Salice, con base bianca lattiginosa e tre strisce verticali che girano tutt'attorno al bead in avventurina e verde oliva.

La sfaccettatura romboidale qui è meno evidente, per il tipo di colore lattiginoso e pieno del bead.

Creatività rammenta molto il bead Luce del Nord, che vinse il People's Bead nel 2018. Qui in variante con colori che ricordano il nostro pianeta Terra, in vari toni di blu e verde e sprazzi di avventurina a donare luminosità.

Spensieratezza trovo sia una variante colore di Fantasia, qui sui toni del verde oliva sempre con sprazzi glitter in avventurina.

Immaginazione si presenta con un motivo variegato a parentesi graffa tra l'azzurro ed il celeste e sprazzi in avventurina.

Un set incentrato sui colori della terra, reso elegante dalla sfaccettatura e dai tocchi di avventurina.

Il set costa €275.

Il costo di ogni singolo bead è di €55.

Diamo uno sguardo ora agli argenti della nuova collezione.

Fiore Delicato del designer Søren Nielsen, con i suoi quattro petali dischiusi, può accogliere in un abbraccio una pietra rotonda piccola o una perla, volendo anche un Prisma, nonostante sia un poco più grande.

I petali sono finemente cesellati con un motivo verticale che ricorda le nervature dei fiori. Il movimento stesso che è stato dato al bead, ad ogni singolo petalo, lo rende estremamente reale.

Un bead con una bellissima resa che può essere "raddoppiato" su di un bangle o nella collana.

Il costo è di €35.

Pendente Fiore Delicato del designer Søren Nielsen, è una variante più grande del precedente che differisce, oltre alle dimensioni, da alcuni piccoli dettagli. Ha una piccola base circolare da cui partono, intrecciati, sei sottili gambi che vanno a sovrapporsi, sorreggendoli, agli altrettanti petali, formando una corolla dischiusa di fiore destinata ad accogliere interamente una perla, una piccola pietra rotonda o parzialmente un Prisma o altro bead.

In questo bead le nervature sono presenti all'interno, l'esterno dei petali invece è liscio.

Ho provato ad inserire il Tulipano in argento e l'effetto che ne è uscito è di un fiore con il suo bocciolo al centro, debbo dire che mi piace molto. Potrete così provare anche voi con altri argenti per vedere che effetto fa.

Il costo è di €75.

Trifoglio Portafortuna del designer Søren Nielsen, è un bead a tre fori adatto per accorciare la collana. I tre petali da cui è composto sono formati da sottili filamenti che si congiungono in apice dando l'impressione di piccoli cuori. I punti di chiusura del bead sono sormontati da piccole margherite a sei petali.

Al centro, dove convergono i petali, un piccolo trifoglio stilizzato.

Un bead romantico che può ricordare sia motivi celtici che barocchi.

Il costo è di €45.

Pendente Rosa del designer Søren Nielsen, che riproduce il fiore dischiuso e una fogliolina in cima, ha il moschettone per poterlo agganciare alla collana fantasia, viceversa si può semplicemente infilare nel bracciale a maglia morbida o nel bangle.

Un azzardo? Insieme alla perla pendente della collana.

Il costo è di €85.

Anello Rosa del designer Søren Nielsen, ricorda nella forma la varietà damascena, il gambo che si avviluppa su se stesso e termina con il fiore scarmigliato e tre foglioline di lato.

Il fiore è di dimensione media e risulta piacevole anche su di una mano piccola.

L'anello è disponibile nelle misure: dalla 49 alla 60.

Il costo è di €115.

Chiusura Bouquet del designer Søren Nielsen, si presenta con due fiori differenti, entrambi a corolla aperta e tre foglie lanceolate a completamento della composizione che adorna la chiusura a doppio moschettone. Il moschettone più piccolo, ho rilevato che presenta la criticità di apertura in quanto si trova a ridosso del fiore più grande, occorre quindi utilizzare l'unghia per riuscire ad aprirla bene.

Una chiusura imponente che sembra andare a sostituire la ritirata Fiori di Ciliegio che, personalmente, preferivo. 

Il costo è di €65.

Chiusura Portafortuna della designer Lise Aagaard, è una chiusura classica liscia impreziosita da ambo i lati da differenti pietre: da una parte troviamo una Avventurina tonda e liscia, dall'altra una Pietra di Luna Bianca tonda e liscia.

Molto pratica, decisamente unisex, per la prima volta compaiono le pietre sulla chiusura.

Il costo è di €75.

N.B.= al momento della recensione la chiusura non era ancora stata consegnata, quindi ho dovuto utilizzare foto istituzionale.

Stop Armonia del designer Søren Nielsen, si compone di una base rotonda in argento su cui si posano filamenti, sempre in argento, a formare volute e ghirigori.

Trovo sia uno stop molto particolare, adatto a fare il solista al centro di un bangle o, sempre al centro, protagonista tra due perle a far da comprimarie. 

D'effetto anche nella collana.

Il costo è di €55.

Ora andiamo a guardare nel dettaglio i cinque Stop incisi, della designer Lise Aagaard.

All'apparenza, visti in foto o a catalogo, possono sembrare simili agli stop lisci classici, in realtà sono più spessi, di conseguenza con un diametro maggiore, proprio per dare opportunità alle scritte incise di essere lette agevolmente. 

Un piccolo cuore in rilievo è posto tra la prima e l'ultima parola, caratteristica di ognuno dei cinque Stop.

Stop Gratitudine ha incisa la frase "I am grateful".

Stop Entusiasmo ha incisa la frase "I love my life".

Stop Consapevolezza ha incisa la frase "I love myself".

Stop Fortuna ha incisa la frase "My life is a gift".

Stop Felicità ha incisa la frase "I love life".

L'idea degli stop incisi mi è piaciuta anche se trovo ripetitive alcune frasi nonostante il significato possa risultare differente, come I love myself, I love my life e I love life. Magari per distinguerli meglio avrebbero potuto mettere al posto del cuore altri simboli come ad esempio una stellina, poiché, a colpo d'occhio, sembrano uguali.

Essenza della Vita del designer Søren Nielsen, è il bead più imponente della intera collezione, impreziosito da cinque pietre lisce incastonate. Il bead ha motivi tipo filigrana che riprendono il disegno del bead Trifoglio Portafortuna.

Le pietre che lo arricchiscono sono: Opale, Ametista, Granato, Turchese e Lapislazzuli.

Una versione più ricca del ritirato Sapienza, di cui personalmente preferivo lo stile sobrio e minimal.

Gli va comunque riconosciuta la bellezza prorompente del protagonista, che da solo può abbellire un bangle o una collana.

Il costo è di €125.

Collana Essenza della Vita della designer Lise Aagaard, è in Edizione Limitata e disponibile solamente presso i rivenditori Premium, Premium Plus e Flagship Store, presenta un pendente in vetro sfaccettato a forma di uovo dove, alle due estremità, troviamo un disegno a fiore con cinque petali, in colore nero, contornato da un sottile motivo in bianco; al centro una fascia in blu e turchese sormontata da cinque motivi ovalizzati in avventurina ramata, anch'essi contornati da un sottile motivo in bianco.

Il disegno astratto rimanda ai motivi di alcune ceramiche. La collana è in argento brunito, talmente brunito che risulta essere quasi nero.

Una differenza che ho subito notato è quella data dai motivi ovalizzati, non sono in colore verde oliva come si nota nelle foto a catalogo, ma in avventurina ramata.

Personalmente la preferisco così ma, le aspettative di qualcuno potrebbero essere deluse, con questo cambio di colore che non ci è dato sapere se sia stato a causa di un ritocco fotografico o proprio un cambio voluto a livello di produzione.

La collana è disponibile nelle misure: 80, 90 e 100 cm. Il costo è di €195.

I beads che prediligo in assoluto sono: Fiore Delicato, Trifoglio Portafortuna, Pendente Rosa, Stop Fortuna, Urano, Armadillo Fantasia, Creatività, Destino, Fantasia, Chiusura Portafortuna.

Una collezione primaverile, come scrivevo all'inizio, ricca soprattutto in vetri ma anche in argenti particolari.

Trollbeads qui sembra essere tornata ai vecchi fasti, quando ogni uscita era seguita da esclamazioni di apprezzamento. Non a caso l'intera collezione, riferita agli argenti, è dei fratelli Søren e Lise, coloro che stanno portando avanti l'azienda, creata dal padre Svend, insieme ad altri membri della famiglia.

Romantica senza essere leziosa, elegante senza essere eccessiva, il buongusto la fa da padrone e non sarà difficile abbinare questi colori, fondamentalmente neutri, né tra di loro né con altri di collezioni precedenti.

Mentre la osservo, mentre compongo un bracciale per poi scattargli una foto, rifletto sulla vita e mi viene a memoria il filosofo Søren Kierkegaard, anch'esso danese di Copenhagen, ritenuto il padre dell'esistenzialismo, di cui conservo un vecchio libro di aforismi e pensieri.

"Nessuno al mondo è in grado di dirti perché esisti, ma visto che sei qui, lavora per dare un senso alla tua esistenza", diceva Kierkegaard.

Può volerci una vita intera per arrivare a questa consapevolezza o può essere immediato, siamo tutti diversi e con differenti modi, sicuramente amare se stessi è un grande passo verso il senso, verso una vita piena nonostante le avversità.

L'essenza della vita può essere un cammino spirituale, un anelito profondo che attende di sbocciare dentro di noi, non a caso Trollbeads ha scelto la primavera per narrare, attraverso i suoi gioielli, di questo importante aspetto che può essere diverso per ognuno di noi ma che accomuna nell'intento di una vita da vivere appieno.

Una collezione che si ispira ai sentimenti dunque, che sono appunto l'essenza della vita stessa, in cui tutti noi siamo chiamati ad esser protagonisti, su questa terra che ci accoglie, facenti parte di un affascinante Universo. 

Si parlava di tanti beads ritirati, un evento che, a dire il vero, accade ogni anno ma mai come quest'anno vediamo entrare a far parte del "museo" così tanti beads, in argento, set di beads in vetro, chiusure, pietre, orecchini, anelli e bracciali in pelle.

Alcuni beads in vetro però sono stati risparmiati per dare vita a nuovi set, tre per la precisione, che sono: Set Bellezza Profonda, Set Romanticismo e Set Eleganza della Natura.

Trollbeads Spring 2021 collection "New Wisdom", my review

As usual, Trollbeads ushers in the year with a new collection.

This time it is very rich, especially in glass beads: three new sets, one of which is of faceted glass.

It probably causes the mighty withdrawal (almost three hundred references) of many beads that, to tell the truth, many of us were fond of.

But let's say no to nostalgia and let's get right into the heart of this "New Wisdom" collection, starting precisely from the first "Uplifting Bubble Joy Kit", by designers Tenzin Phuntsok and Kalden Chophel, where we find: Lagoon Bubble Joy, Crystal, Bright, Shade, Ivory and Meadow.

The series of glasses with bubbles started with the previous winter collection, always dedicated to the planets (in Italian translation), continues, the five large bubbles are in fact the characteristic that unites all six beads.

Lagoon Bubble Joy has a light olive green base color and turquoise cover; seen in profile the base appears milky and concave in the points where the bubbles are positioned.

Crystal in champagne color, transparent.

Bright in blue, transparent.

Shade has a light sage green base color and champagne colored and cover.

Ivory is in a creamy ivory shade; also seen in profile has a milky base where, in the concave points, it hosts the bubbles.

Meadow is light olive green; seen in profile the base appears milky and concave in the points where the bubbles are positioned.

From the catalog Crystal and the Ivory it is easy to confuse them because in the institutional photos they look very similar, in reality Crystal is totally transparent, while the Ivory has a milky base.

Overall, a set of neutral colors that can easily be combined with different themes, perhaps referring to nature.

The kit costs €170.

The cost of each single bead is €35.

The second "Mist of Nature Kit" by designers Tenzin Phuntsok and Kalden Chophel, sees six different beads that can still coexist.

Willow has a light beige base and intersecting stripe patterns in mottled brown ivory.

Tulip of Elegance has a purple base and mottled petals in light mauve, beige and ocher with small bubbles in the center.

Shimmer Petals has a light gray base and a copper aventurine zig-zag pattern; seen in profile it reveals a milky and concave base to form petals.

Sophisticated Armadillo presents the classic pattern that runs in gray / green and white, in the white part there are six beige polka dots.

Desert Mist is a whirlwind of colors ranging from white to green, to light and dark yellow, with small white petals containing a starry murrina flower.

Ray of Sun has a bronzed aventurine base and thin horizontal lines in white.

Overall a warm-toned set. Above all, Sophisticated Armadillo stands out, an always very popular bead that in this variant boasts a pleasant polka dot pattern that distinguishes it from the previous ones.

The third "New Wisdom Kit", by designer Neetu Gupta, which takes its name from the collection, consists of six faceted beads.

Holistic comes with a turquoise background color and transparent cover, with glittering flashes of copper aventurine included.

Choice has horizontal lines in black, lime green and subtle hints in wisteria and coppery aventurine.

Sense vaguely recalls the Willow Twigs Bead, with a milky white base and three vertical stripes that run all around the bead in aventurine and olive green.

The rhomboid facet here is less noticeable, due to the milky, full color type of the bead.

Perception is very reminiscent of the Northern Lights Magic Bead, which won the People's Bead in 2018. Here in a variant with colors that recall our planet Earth, in various tones of blue and green and flashes of aventurine to give brightness.

Universal I find both a color variant of Holistic, here in shades of olive green always with flashes of glitter in aventurine.

Attention shows a variegated brace pattern between blue and light blue and flashes of aventurine.

A set focused on the colors of the earth, made elegant by the facet and touches of aventurine.

The set costs €275.

The cost of each single bead is €55.

Let's take a look now at the silver of the new collection.

Clarity Flower by designer Søren Nielsen, with its four open petals, can embrace a small round stone or a pearl, even if you want a Prism, despite being a little bigger.

The petals are finely chiseled with a vertical motif that resembles the veins of flowers. The very movement that has been given to the bead, to every single petal, makes it extremely real.

A beautifully rendered bead that can be "doubled" on a bangle or necklace.

The cost is €35.

Clarity Flower Pendant by designer Søren Nielsen, is a larger variant of the previous one that differs, in addition to its size, by some small details. It has a small circular base from which six thin stems depart, intertwined, which overlap, supporting them, the as many petals, forming an open flower corolla intended to entirely accommodate a pearl, a small round stone or partially a Prism or other bead.

In this bead the ribs are present on the inside, the outside of the petals instead is smooth.

I tried to insert the Tulip in silver and the effect that came out is of a flower with its bud in the center, I must say that I really like it. So you can also try other silvers to see what effect it has.

The cost is €75.

Folklore Wisdom by designer Søren Nielsen, is a three-hole bead suitable for shortening the necklace. The three petals from which it is composed are formed by thin filaments that join at the apex giving the impression of small hearts. The closing points of the bead are topped with small six-petal daisies.

In the center, where the petals of the clover converge, a small stylized clover.

A romantic bead that can recall both Celtic and Baroque motifs.

The cost is €45.

Rose of Beauty Pendant by designer Søren Nielsen, which reproduces the open flower and a leaf on top, has a carabiner to be able to attach it to the patterned necklace, vice versa it can be simply inserted into the soft knitted bracelet or bangle.

 

A gamble? Together with the pearl pendant of the necklace.

The cost is €85.

Rose Ring by designer Søren Nielsen, the shape recalls the damask variety of the stem that wraps around itself and ends with the disheveled flower and three leaflets on the side. The flower is medium in size and is pleasant even on a small hand.

The ring is available in sizes: from 49 to 60.

The cost is €115.

Crisp Flower Lock by designer Søren Nielsen, comes with two different flowers, both with open corolla and three lanceolate leaves to complete the composition that adorns the double carabiner lock. The smaller carabiner, I found that it presents the criticality of opening as it is located close to the largest flower, therefore it is necessary to use the nail to be able to open it well.

An imposing closure that seems to replace the Wild Cherry Lock retired which, personally, I preferred.

The cost is €65.

White and Green Lock by designer Lise Aagaard, is a classic smooth closure embellished on both sides with different stones: on one side we find a smooth ton Aventurine, on the other a round and smooth White Moonstone.

Very practical, definitely unisex, for the first time stones appear on the lock.

The cost is €75.

N.B. = at the time of the review the lock had not yet been delivered, so I had to use institutional photos.

Mazy Spacer by designer Søren Nielsen, consists of a round silver base on which filaments, also in silver, are placed to form swirls and swirls.

I find it a very particular stop, suitable for playing the soloist in the center of a bangle or, always in the center, the protagonist between two pearls to act as supporting characters. Of great impact also in the necklace.

The cost is €55.

Now let's look in detail at the five engraved stops, by designer Lise Aagaard.

Apparently, seen in photos or in the catalog, they may seem similar to classic smooth stops, in reality they are thicker, consequently with a larger diameter, precisely to give the engraved writing opportunities to be read easily.

A small raised heart is placed between the first and last word, characteristic of each of the five Stops.

Stop I am Grateful has engraved the phrase "I am grateful".

Stop I Love My Life has engraved the phrase "I love my life".

Stop I Love Myself has engraved the phrase "I love myself".

Stop My Life Is a Gift has engraved the phrase "My life is a gift".

Stop I Love Life has engraved the phrase "I love life".

I liked the idea of ​​engraved stops even if I find some phrases repetitive although the meaning may be different, such as I love myself, I love my life and I love life. Perhaps to better distinguish them they could have put other symbols such as a star in the place of the heart, since, at a glance, they look the same.

New Wisdom by designer Søren Nielsen, is the most impressive bead of the entire collection, embellished with five smooth stones set. The bead has filigree-like motifs that reflect the design of the Folklore Wisdom bead.

The stones that enrich it are: Opal, Amethyst, Garnet, Turquoise and Lapis Lazuli.

A richer version of the retired Wisdom Bead, of which I personally preferred the sober and minimal style.

However, the bursting beauty of the protagonist must be recognized, who alone can embellish a bangle or a necklace.

The cost is €125.

Wisdom Fantasy Necklace by designer Lise Aagaard, is in Limited Edition and available only at Premium, Premium Plus and Flagship Store retailers, presents a faceted glass pendant in the shape of an egg where, at both ends, we find a flower design with five petals , in black, surrounded by a subtle white motif; in the center a band in blue and turquoise surmounted by five oval patterns in coppery aventurine, also surrounded by a subtle white pattern.

The abstract design refers to the motifs of some ceramics. The necklace is in burnished silver, so burnished that it is almost black.

A difference that I noticed immediately is that given by the oval motifs, they are not in olive green color as you can see in the institutional photos, but in coppery aventurine.

Personally I prefer it that way but, someone's expectations could lead to disappointment, with this color change that we cannot know if it was due to a photographic retouching or a desired change in production.

The necklace is available in sizes: 80, 90 and 100 cm. .

The cost is €195.

My favorite beads are: Clarity Flower, Folklore Wisdom, Rose of Beauty Pendant, Stop My Life Is A Gift, Lagoon Bubbl Joy, Sophisticated Armadillo, Perception, Sense, Holistic, White and Green Lock.

A spring collection, as I wrote at the beginning, rich above all in glass but also in particular silver.

Trollbeads here seems to have returned to its old glory, when every release was followed by exclamations of appreciation. It is no coincidence that the entire collection, referring to silver, belongs to the brothers Søren and Lise, those who are running the company, created by their father Svend, together with other family members.

Romantic without being affected, elegant without being excessive, good taste is the master and it will not be difficult to combine these colors, basically neutral, neither with each other nor with others from previous collections.

While I observe her, as I compose a bracelet and then take a photo of it, I reflect on life and I remember the philosopher Søren Kierkegaard, also Danish from Copenhagen, considered the father of existentialism, of which I keep an old book of aphorisms and thoughts .

The cost of each single bead is €45.

The next novelty concerns the Thun by Trollbeads collection, expected to be released on January 29th together with the new Trollbeads bead dedicated to Valentine's Day "I Love You", a faceted glass bead in Limited Edition at a cost of €55.
