Trollbeads anche quest'anno, a primavera inoltrata, propone un nuovo bracciale "start", vale a dire un bracciale completo di chiusura e beads.

Per chi si è avvicinato al mondo Trollbeads da poco, o intende farlo ora, il bracciale "start" viene così definito poiché dà appunto inizio ad una storia da raccontare attraverso i beads, si tratta perciò di una occasione speciale in cui Trollbeads combina un bracciale a coda di volpe in argento, una chiusura in argento, un bead in vetro ed un bead in argento, ad un prezzo vantaggioso.

In questo caso, il "Bracciale dei Sogni" così composto, costa €109 anziché €180, ipotizzando che ogni singolo elemento, se scelto a catalogo, costi €45.

Sicuramente un notevole risparmio, volto proprio ad invogliare a un nuovo inizio, un gioiello da comporre man mano e da indossare donandogli il proprio personale significato, perché questo fanno i "beads", raccontano una storia, la nostra storia.

Andiamo a scoprire nel dettaglio i componenti.

Il bracciale è a maglia morbida in argento, detto anche a "coda di volpe", la cui misura sarà possibile scegliere in base alle proprie esigenze, tenendo conto che la lunghezza è comprensiva di cm. 2 della chiusura; ad esempio chi ha un polso di cm. 18 acquisterà un bracciale di cm. 18 "virtuali". Perché virtuali? Perché il bracciale in realtà sarà lungo cm.16 a cui si aggiungono i cm. 2 virtuali della chiusura.

Lo so, sembra un meccanismo un poco contorto, per chi è alle prime armi, ma i rivenditori sono più che informati per spiegarvi e consigliarvi al meglio quale misura acquistare. 

La chiusura ha la classica forma "doppia" che consente, da una parte di agganciarsi all'anellina ovalizzata piccola del bracciale (quella attraverso cui si infilano i beads), dall'altra consente di agganciarsi all'anellina tonda grande che serve per allacciare il bracciale al polso.

Leggera e pratica, a moschettone, si apre e si chiude con estrema facilità e in sicurezza, in quanto si avverte che il meccanismo ha una buona tenuta.

Il decoro, quattro piccoli fiorellini a quattro petali, uno su ogni lato della chiusura, è creato in modo da donare piacevolezza al tatto senza precluderne la funzionalità.

La forma dei fiori ricorda la "Chiusura a Fiore", qui però in versione notevolmente ridotta.

Debbo dire che la trovo graziosa, pur nella sua semplicità.

Il bead in argento si presenta con due piccoli anelli a fare da base per sorreggere quattro piccoli fiorellini, due a cinque petali, uno a quattro petali ed uno a tre petali, ognuno con il proprio piccolo gambo. Un bead di dimensioni medio piccole.

Il design dei fiorellini è il medesimo presente sulla chiusura, la sola differenza è che nella chiusura i fiorellini sono provvisti dei pistilli, mentre qui nel bead no.

Trollbeads ha utilizzato questa base a piccoli anelli anche per i beads Thun.

Si presta senz'altro in continuità di un tema fiorito, grazioso anch'esso come la chiusura.

Il bead in vetro alla base presenta un motivo a zig zag in colore verde chiaro sfumato con leggere fiammate in color rosa cipria. Al suo interno una serie di bollicine alternate.

Il vetro di copertura è trasparente.

Un bead che nel suo insieme rimanda alle foglie e le piccole bolle come fossero gocce di rugiada. Un colore che ricorda la freschezza della primavera. 

Come ben sapete i beads in vetro hanno la peculiarità di differire un poco uno dall'altro poichè realizzati a mano, differenze che riguardano anche le dimensioni, così come il colore stesso, a seconda della luce che lo illumina, che sia naturale o artificiale (fredda o calda), può variare tonalità, riscontrabile nelle varie fotografie.

 

Questo bead trovo abbia alcune caratteristiche che lo possano far spiccare anche in mezzo ad altri o che possa fare il protagonista, comunque un buon comprimario che va ad armonizzarsi in contesti con più beads.

Il motto che Trollbeads ha donato al "Bracciale dei Sogni" è: "Il meglio deve ancora venire", che può essere interpretato come un sogno di scorta da tenere sempre nel cassetto, un sogno su cui puntare nell'ambizione di ciò che è meglio per noi.

Il floreale è tra i leitmotiv favoriti di Trollbeads, non dobbiamo quindi stupirci che lo start di primavera riproduca questo classico tema.

L'insieme è minimale con un tocco di romanticismo, dunque non sfarzoso come alcuni dei precedenti dove il bead in vetro era sfaccettato, ad esempio "Cielo Stellato", o dove la chiusura risultava più imponente, ad esempio "Orchidea Eterna".

Probabilmente a molti sembrerà eccedere in semplicità ma va ricordato che uno start del genere può essere un ottimo approccio per chi si avvicina al brand ora, così come ben si adatta anche a polsi giovani di bimbe o ragazzine, magari da regalare in occasione della cresima o della comunione.

La chiusura è l'elemento che preferisco, dove i quattro piccoli fiori sembrano essersi posati su di essa dopo un refolo di vento.

Ogni fiore riportato nel bead e nella chiusura mi ha fatto pensare ad alcuni fiori presenti in natura, fiori perlopiù a crescita spontanea, semplici e non blasonati.

Il piccolo fiore a cinque petali mi ricorda l'Acetosella gialla, pianta spontanea interamente commestibile, difatti sia i fiori che le foglie possono essere consumati crudi in insalata, mentre a livello fitoterapico, tra le altre, per curare febbre, diarrea e infezioni del tratto urinario.

Il nome deriva dal sapore di aceto delle foglie che, fin dal medioevo, venivano utilizzate come condimento per insalate e minestre.

L'Acetosella, che durante un forte vento o durante la pioggia si ripiega su se stessa, racchiude il significato di protezione e amore materno, oltre a quello di fine delle preoccupazioni, in quanto la fioritura avviene poco prima del bel tempo.

Il piccolo fiore a quattro petali lo associo alla Dentaria Minore, un fiore spontaneo che cresce in collina e in montagna, dove il suo tipico habitat è tra faggeti e castagneti. Di colore lilla con venature più scure, i suoi petali sono quasi impalpabili. 

Il nome volgare deriva dal rizoma dentellato che ricorda la corona dentale. Mentre il nome del genere "Cardamine" deriva dal greco Kardia = cuore e Damào = addomesticare, da qui il significato di valorizzare il tempo da dedicare agli amici, addomesticando il cuore a un rituale fatto di legami.

Il piccolo fiore a tre petali mi fa pensare alla Tradescantia Andersoniana, la cui versione blu ha fiori che vanno dal blu elettrico al viola. Una pianta perenne adatta per aiuole o a bordura di specchi d'acqua.

La curiosità è che deve il suo nome al giardiniere di corte di Carlo I° d'Inghilterra, John Tradescant che introdusse questa pianta in Europa nel 1600 dalla Virginia.

La Tradescantia, che riesce a crescere anche in condizioni misere ed avverse, porta in sé il significato di forza nella semplicità, nonostante le poche risorse la perseveranza può condurre lontano.

I fiori, qualunque essi siano, ritengo appaghino il senso della vista insieme ad un più profondo appagamento dell'anima, non a caso si utilizza il verbo fiorire quando si vuol parlare di qualcosa di bello e nuovo e proficuo, così come si utilizza il verbo rifiorire al pari di una rinascita, rifiorire a nuova vita e risplendere di tutti i colori e di tutti i profumi che la natura ci offre.

Trollbeads also this year, in late spring, proposes a new "start" bracelet, that is to say a bracelet complete with lock and beads. For those who have recently approached the world of Trollbeads, or intend to do so now, the "start" bracelet is so defined as it starts a story to be told through the beads, it is therefore a special occasion in which Trollbeads combines a bracelet fox tail in silver, a silver clasp, a glass bead and a silver bead, at an advantageous price. Let's find out the components in detail.

The bracelet is in soft silver mesh, also called "fox tail", the size of which can be chosen according to your needs, taking into account that the length includes cm.2 of the closure; for example those who have a wrist of cm.18 will purchase a bracelet of cm.18 "virtual". Why virtual? Because the bracelet will actually be 16 cm long to which the cm.2 virtual closure. I know, it seems a little convoluted mechanism, for beginners, but the retailers are more than informed to explain and advise you which size to buy.






The lock has the classic "double" shape which allows, on the one hand, to attach to the small ovalized ring of the bracelet (the one through which the beads are inserted), on the other hand it allows to attach to the large round ring that is used to fasten the bracelet on the wrist.
Light and practical, with carabiner, it opens and closes very easily and safely, as you feel that the mechanism has a good seal.

The decoration, four small four-petal flowers, one on each side of the lock, is created in such a way as to give pleasantness to the touch without compromising its functionality.
The shape of the flowers recalls the "Flower Lock", but here in a considerably reduced version.
I must say that I find it pretty, despite its simplicity.








The silver bead has two small rings to act as a base to support four small flowers, two to five petals, one with four petals and one with three petals, each with its own small stem. A small to medium sized bead.

The design of the flowers is the same as on the closure, the only difference is that in the closure the flowers are provided with pistils, while here in the bead no.
Trollbeads used this small ring base for the Thun beads as well.
It certainly lends itself to the continuity of a flowery theme, also graceful as the lock.

The glass bead at the base has a zigzag pattern in light green shaded with light flames in powder pink. Inside a series of alternating bubbles. The cover glass is transparent.
A bead that as a whole refers to the leaves and the small bubbles as if they were drops of dew. A color that recalls the freshness of spring.

As you well know, the glass beads have the peculiarity of differing a little from each other as they are handmade, differences that also affect the size, as well as the color itself, depending on the light that illuminates it, whether natural or artificial (cold or hot), it can vary shades, which can be found in the various photographs.

I find this bead have a particular characteristic that can make it stand out among others or that it can make the protagonist, rather a good supporting character that goes to harmonize in contexts with more beads.

The motto that Trollbeads has given to the "Exhale Bracelet" is: "Breathe in, breathe out, and know that the best is still to come", which can be interpreted as a spare dream to always keep in the drawer, a dream to bet on in the ambition of what is best for us.


Floral is one of Trollbeads' favorite leitmotifs, so we shouldn't be surprised that the spring start reproduces this classic theme.





The whole is minimal with a touch of romanticism, therefore not as gorgeous as some of the previous ones where the glass bead was faceted, for example "Wishful Sky", or where the lock was more impressive, for example "Eternal Orchid".
Probably to many it will seem to exceed in simplicity but it should be remembered that such a start can be an excellent approach for those who are approaching the brand now, as well as it is also well suited to young girls' wrists, perhaps to give as a gift on the occasion of confirmation or of communion.
The lock is the element I prefer, where the four small flowers seem to have settled on it after a gust of wind.

Each flower shown in the bead and in the lock made me think of some flowers present in nature, mostly spontaneously growing, simple and not noble flowers.

The small five-petaled flower reminds me of the Yellow Sorrel, a spontaneous plant entirely edible, in fact both the flowers and the leaves can be eaten raw in salads, while at the phytotherapeutic level, among others, to treat fever, diarrhea and tract infections urinary.
The name derives from the vinegar flavor of the leaves which, since the Middle Ages, were used as a condiment for salads and soups.
The Yellow Sorrel, which folds in on itself during a strong wind or rain, contains the meaning of protection and maternal love, as well as that of the end of worries, as flowering occurs just before good weather.

I associate the small four-petal flower with Coral Root, a spontaneous flower that grows in the hills and mountains, where its typical habitat is between beech and chestnut trees. Lilac in color with darker veins, its petals are almost impalpable.
The vulgar name derives from the toothed rhizome that resembles the dental crown. While the name of the genus "Cardamine" derives from the Greek Kardia = heart and Damào = to tame, hence the meaning of enhancing the time to devote to friends, taming the heart to a ritual made of bonds.

The small three-petaled flower makes me think of Tradescantia Virginiana, the blue version of which has flowers ranging from electric blue to purple. A perennial plant suitable for flower beds or on the edge of ponds.
The curiosity is that it owes its name to the court gardener of Charles I of England, John Tradescant who introduced this plant to Europe in 1600 from Virginia.
Tradescantia, which manages to grow even in poor and adverse conditions, carries within itself the meaning of strength in simplicity, despite the few resources perseverance can lead far.

I believe that flowers, whatever they are, satisfy the sense of sight together with a deeper satisfaction of the soul, it is no coincidence that the verb flourish is used when we want to talk about something beautiful and new and profitable, just as we use the verb reflourish like a rebirth, flourish to new life and shine with all the colors and scents that nature offers us.
