La mia recensione della nuova collezione Autunno 2019 Trollbeads - My review of the new Fall 2019 Trollbeads collection

L'autunno ormai è alle porte, nell'aria si percepisce già, il sole si accomiata prima, la rugiada della notte la troviamo la mattina tra le foglie che iniziano piano piano a cadere dagli alberi.
Delle quattro stagioni non è la mia prediletta ma so apprezzarne i colori e le miti temperature (nonostante, dove abito io, il caldo estivo si protragga sino a raggiungere l'autunno, non sempre piacevolmente).
Quest'anno in particolar modo però, sono desiderosa di autunno per potere indossarne i colori e le texture, in quanto Trollbeads ha proposto una collezione degna di nota al riguardo.
La collezione "Sogni d'autunno" è molto ricca nella sua offerta e si dipana attraverso due set di vetri da sei beads ognuno, da sei beads in argento, da cinque pietre, da due chiusure, da un paio di orecchini e da un pendente, ossia ben ventisette referenze.

Recatami in gioielleria per vedere in anteprima l'intera collezione e poterla recensire, la prima cosa che ho voluto guardare sono state le pietre.
Le pietre rotonde piccole erano uscite come novità nella precedente collezione estiva e, di primo acchito, non avevano riscosso un grande successo, abituati come siamo alle pietre più corpose e sfaccettate.
Per questo vi ho dato priorità, per dare loro ancora una chance e, debbo dire, ci fosse mai stata qualche titubanza ora è scomparsa del tutto.

Le piccole pietre sono: Ametista Rotonda, Occhio di Tigre Rotondo, Onice Rosso Rotondo, Onice Nero Rotondo e Granato Rotondo.

L'Ametista si è da subito presentata con l'avere più varianti di colore, partendo dalla gradazione più scura sino ad arrivare alla più chiara e trasparente. Si potranno quindi scegliere le tonalità più gradite o magari sfruttare le gradazioni per creare un bracciale dai differenti riflessi.

L'Occhio di Tigre è di per sè una pietra dall'effetto cangiante ed ognuna mostra una variegatura principalmente verticale, che degrada dal marrone più scuro ad un marrone più chiaro ed ambrato.

 L'Onice Rosso presenta anch'esso, come Ametista, delle varianti di colore, si potrà dunque trovare una pietra più scura tendente al bordeaux sino ad arrivare ad una gradazione più chiara tendente all'arancione.

L'Onice Nero invece risulta essere la pietra maggiormente omogenea, di un bel nero lucente dalla liscia finitura.

Il Granato possiede una proprietà quasi camaleontica, essendo tra queste pietre, quella che maggiormente si trasforma a seconda della luce da cui viene illuminata.
Di un rosso sangue molto scuro, da risultare quasi nero, anche tra queste vi è la possibilità di trovarne di gradazioni leggermente più chiare, rimanendo comunque una pietra scura e decisamente sanguigna.

Per quanto riguarda le dimensioni, sono esattamente come le precedenti pietre uscite nella collezione estiva, ossia del calibro delle perle, millimetro più, millimetro meno.

Le pietre, oltre a poter essere scelte per colore di gradimento, si possono scegliere anche per le loro proprietà terapeutiche.

L'Ametista aiuta a raggiungere chiarezza mentale, combatte l'insonnia ed allontana i pensieri negativi.
L'Occhio di Tigre stimola i desideri più profondi rendendoli raggiungibili, donando forza e volontà.
L'Onice Rosso conferisce forza e stabilità ed aiuta a fare una analisi lucida quando si è in procinto di importanti decisioni, rende meno lunatici e malinconici.
L'Onice Nero protegge da influenze negative ed instaura senso di sicurezza nelle situazioni difficoltose e stimola le facoltà psichiche.
Il Granato aumenta l'autostima, rende perseveranti ed è un buon alleato quando si deve dar vita a nuovi progetti lasciando le paure alle spalle, ottimo alleato in stati depressivi.

Dopo averle viste il desiderio è stato quello di comporre un bracciale di sole pietre, trovando armonici i colori tra di loro e dall'effetto decisamente autunnale.
La Chiusura Nuvole ed il piccolo pendente Rosario (dal People's Bead 2012) a completamento di un bracciale di suggestione spirituale.

Il successivo sguardo è inevitabilmente caduto sui due set di vetri, il primo "Crepuscolo d'autunno", dei designers Tenzin Phuntsok and Kalden Chophel, vede protagonisti sei beads in vetro dalle calde e notturne sfumature a cui ben si addice la descrizione Trollbeads "Quando il giorno si spegne l'oscurità ci regala le sue stelle".
Da non farsi però trarre in inganno dalla parola "stelle" in quanto di stelle non ce ne sono ma troviamo due fiori, due uccellini, papaveri e foglie.

Fiore dell'Equilibrio presenta una base scura, oserei dire nera e tutt'intorno quattro fiori ognuno con la famigerata bollicina al centro. I sei petali sono prevalentemente colorati in ottanio (tinta a metà strada tra il blu e il verde) e terra di Siena bruciata/arancione, con leggere sfumature più chiare a definire il bordo dei petali e sfumature centrali più scure a conferirne profondità e tridimensionalità.
La foto istituzionale Trollbeads non rispecchia, a mio parere, il bead nella realtà in merito ai colori; talvolta la forma del fiore stesso può differire.
Dell'intero set, trovo sia il bead maggiormente magnetico, capace a catturare l'attenzione anche in una variegata composizione.

Fiore della Passione ha le medesime caratteristiche del precedente, differendo per colore. La base si presenta color scarlatto (ossia un "rosso aranciato") fiammeggiato da una gradazione molto più scura, creandone appunto un effetto fiamma, mentre i petali sfumano dal bianco al giallo, quasi una sorta di sovrapposizione e trasparenza nei confronti del colore di base.
Come fattezze, il fiore nel suo insieme risulta essere meno definito rispetto al bead Fiore dell'Equilibrio. Andranno visti uno ad uno per scegliere quello che maggiormente rispecchia le singole aspettative.

Volo della Libertà è rappresentato da un uccellino posato su di un ramo, dal piumaggio marrone scuro e bianco su di un fondo trasparente dai lievi riflessi malva opera (ossia un misto tra viola e lavanda nella sua gradazione più scura).

Volo della Gioia viene rappresentato da un uccellino dal piumaggio giallo ocra e rosso cinabro, anche lui appollaiato su di un piccolo ramo e dal fondo trasparente senza particolari riflessi. 

Campo di Papaveri presenta fiori stilizzati dai sottili e lunghi steli e da petali in giallo ocra e rosso cinabro (molto somiglianti in gradazione all'uccellino Volo della Gioia), su di una base lattiginosa.

Foliage Dorato possiede un ramo di foglie che gira tutto intorno al bead, in rosso cinabro ed arancione, con una base a foglia d'oro.

Il secondo set è "Sogni dorati", dei designers Tashi, Dhundup and Dolma, la cui descrizione afferma che "Il futuro è luminoso per chi crede nei propri sogni".
Talvolta un sogno è quanto di più tangibile possa esserci e la concretezza dei simboli scelti a rappresentare questo set ne è una dimostrazione.

Strisce Sogno ha un fondo color verde pistacchio e strisce lievemente oblique in giallo ocra e rosso corallo ed un lieve tocco glitterato sottostante.
A prima vista può apparire più un bead primaverile che non propriamente autunnale.

Fiore dei Sogni riproduce un fiore dallo stelo in avventurina (ossia glitterato) con cinque petali a forma di goccia dagli sfumati colori giallo ocra e rosso cinabro, su base lattiginosa.

Benessere, bead dal fondo bordeaux, presenta un motivo a fantasia che sembra riprodurre un occhio inframezzato da pois sovrapposti bianchi e aranciati.
Un bead decisamente di carattere, quello che maggiormente calamita l'attenzione.
Senza dubbio il mio preferito di questo set.

Ghirigoro, con un motivo di volute ripetuto in un colore neutro che vira dal grigio al grigio kaki, è sicuramente il più astratto del set, con un fondo rosso corallo.

Scintilla del Sogno, dal fondo color senape, presenta dei motivi lineari verticali in avventurina che però differiscono a colpo d'occhio rispetto la precisione del decoro dell'immagine istituzionale.

Pensieri Volanti riproduce piccole foglie fiammeggianti dalle medesime sfumature di colore del bead Strisce Sogno e dal medesimo fondo verde pistacchio.

Questo set non possiede, a mio parere, la forza dell'altro, eppure montato sul bracciale riflette ugualmente una piacevole armonia di colori.

Per quanto riguarda i beads in argento, quello che reputo essere il più singolare ed originale è Spirito del Sonno, dell'eclettica designer Louise Rimpler.

Viene rappresentato un pigiama da uomo come se effettivamente un uomo lo stesse indossando, seduto a braccia incrociate e poggiate sulle ginocchia.
Il bead ha la possibilità di essere infilato sia orizzontalmente che verticalmente, quindi adatto anche alla collana.
Trovo però rimanga un bead a se' stante rispetto gli altri argenti in collezione, lo avrei visto più azzeccato in una collezione Halloween ad integrazione del bead in vetro che è stato prodotto. Costo del bead €45.

Il bead Sogno Notturno, in modo astratto, vede rappresentata una luna crescente poggiata su di … direi a libera interpretazione, potrebbe essere una galassia come una nuvola, sormontati entrambi da piccole borchie. Il designer è Søren Nielsen ed in questo bead si fatica a riconoscere la stessa mano che forgia i famigerati e romantici fiori dei mesi di nascita. Probabilmente ha voluto cimentarsi in qualcosa di diverso e, a mio giudizio, il risultato è comunque piacevole, viste anche le ridotte dimensioni ben si presta per qualsiasi tipo di composizione conferendo movimento. Costo del bead €25.

Foglie al Vento è una sorta di pallina di foglie appunto, quindi un bead tondeggiante di media dimensione.
Le foglie in una collezione autunnale, non possono certo mancare ed il suo designer Søren Nielsen questo lo sa bene, tanto da riprodurle anche nel bead Vortice della Natura, in cui alcune foglie ed un piccolo viticcio attorcigliato, lasciano uno spazio per accogliere una delle Pietre Rotonde Piccole (in alternativa una Perla oppure un bead in vetro di piccole dimensioni tipo  "Small&Beautiful"). Costo del bead €35.

Il bead Nuvole, creato da Louise Rimpler con i classici motivi a "semicerchio" con cui si rappresentano appunto le nuvole, trovo abbia più l'aspetto di un paio di corolle di fiori speculari che si aprono ad ali di farfalla; avendo creato il disegno in modo regolare c'è minor legame in quanto le nuvole hanno un aspetto decisamente irregolare. Uno di quei bead a cui si può facilmente attribuire differente connotazione. Vista la sua forma aperta ad ali di farfalla, si addice bene anche alla collana in quanto crea una sorta di piccolo "abbraccio" e sostegno del bead che si troverà sopra. Costo del bead €35.

Ghirlanda di Fiori si compone di quattro piccoli fiorellini che girando intorno formano così una ghirlanda in miniatura. Semplice ma d'effetto, mi ricorda le ghirlande che facevamo da bambine e che, una volta posate sulla testa, ci rendevano immancabilmente felici. Un bead che si presta (dato anche il prezzo di prima fascia) altresì ad essere indossato in modo multiplo, creando un armonioso gruppo floreale. Costo del bead €25.

Si aggiungono alla già esistente serie di beads in oro, Ibiscus e Nuova Foglia, rispettivamente al costo di €290 ed €245.

La collezione, come scrivevo sopra, si avvale anche di due chiusure: Chiusura Nuvole e Chiusura Foglie.
Pratiche entrambe, col moschettone bene in evidenza, differiscono sostanzialmente nella forma, Chiusura Nuvole risulta maggiormente affusolata e leggera, con il medesimo motivo del bead Nuvole che, in questo caso, letteralmente si attorciglia intorno alla chiusura, anch'essa della designer Louise Rimpler.

Chiusura Foglie ha una forma maggiormente piena, conferitale dalle foglie che la avvolgono; di peso superiore rispetto l'altra, riproduce il design del bead Foglie al Vento di Søren Nielsen.

A formare parure infine troviamo il Pendente Pollicina e gli Orecchini Pollicina del designer Søren Nielsen.

Pendente Pollicina si rifà al bead Pollicina, con il volto della piccola bambina nata da un fiore, secondo la fiaba di Andersen.
In questo pendente i fiori sono predominanti ed incorniciano il fine volto. Un bead decisamente da collana e che alla sua sommità può accogliere un vetro o qualsiasi altra cosa vi suggerisca la fantasia.
La mia interpretazione è molto semplice, proprio per darvi maggior risalto, Collana d'Argento con Onice Nero e Ametista.
Di notevole impatto è senza dubbio il "padrone" della intera collezione e, i più audaci, potranno provare ad inserirlo anche in un bracciale, tenendo comunque conto del peso.

Orecchini Pollicina sono una variante del medesimo design del pendente, con l'aggiunta di una goccia in Onice Nero Sfaccettato che conferisce indubbia eleganza.
Consiglio la prova, prima dell'acquisto, in quanto risulta non essere comodo per chi ha i lobi delle orecchie piccoli.


Trollbeads per questo autunno ha davvero realizzato una collezione sontuosa che ha, come filo conduttore, l'onirico e l'immaginazione, non sarà difficile dunque lasciarsi trasportare da questi temi e dai suoi colori caldi e vivaci.

MY REVIEW OF THE NEW FALL 2019 TROLLBEADS COLLECTION

Autumn is just around the corner, you can already feel it in the air, the sun goes down first, we find the morning dew in the morning among the leaves that slowly begin to fall from the trees.
Of the four seasons it is not my favorite but I can appreciate its colors and mild temperatures (although, where I live, the summer heat continues until it reaches autumn, not always pleasantly).
This year in particular, however, I am eager for autumn to be able to wear the colors and textures, as Trollbeads proposed a collection worthy of note in this regard.
The "Golden Night fall Collection" is very rich in its offer and unfolds through two sets, from six beads each, of glass, of six silver beads, of five stones, of two closures, of a pair of earrings and a pendant, that is twenty-seven references.

Go to the jewelry store to preview the entire collection and review it, the first thing I wanted to look at was the stones.
The small round stones had come out as a novelty in the previous summer collection and, at first glance, had not been very successful, accustomed as we are to the more full-bodied and multi-faceted stones.
This is why I gave priority to the stones, to give them one more chance and I must say that, had there ever been any hesitation, it has now completely disappeared.


The small stones are: Amethyst, Tiger Eye, Red Onyx, Black Onyx and Garnet.

The Amethyst was immediately presented with having several color variants, starting from the darkest gradation up to the most clear and transparent. You can then choose the shades you like best or maybe use the shades to create a bracelet with different reflections.

The Tiger Eye is in itself a stone with an iridescent effect and each one shows a mainly vertical variegation, which degrades from darker brown to a lighter and amber brown.

The Red Onyx also presents, like Amethyst, some color variants, so it will be possible to find a darker stone tending to burgundy up to a lighter shade tending to orange.

Black Onyx, on the other hand, is the most homogeneous stone, of a beautiful shiny black with a smooth finish.

The Garnet has an almost chameleonic property, being among these stones, the one that is most transformed depending on the light from which it is illuminated.
Of a very dark red blood, to be almost black, even among these there is the possibility of finding some slightly lighter shades, still remaining a dark and decidedly sanguine stone.

As for the dimensions, they are exactly like the previous stones that came out of the summer collection, that is the caliber of the pearls, millimeter plus, millimeter less.

Stones, in addition to being chosen by color, can also be chosen for their therapeutic properties.

The Amethyst helps to reach mental clarity, combats insomnia and drives away negative thoughts.
The Tiger Eye stimulates the deepest desires making them reachable, giving strength and will.
The Red Onyx gives strength and stability and helps make a lucid analysis when you are on the verge of important decisions, it makes you less moody and melancholy.
Black Onyx protects against negative influences and creates a sense of security in difficult situations and stimulates the psychic faculties.
The Garnet increases self-esteem, makes you persevering and is a good ally when you have to create new projects leaving your fears behind, an excellent ally in depressive states.

After seeing them, the desire was to compose a bracelet of only stones, finding the colors harmonious with each other and with a decidedly autumnal effect.
The Clouds Lock and the small Rosary pendant (from the People's Bead 2012) to complete a bracelet of spiritual suggestion.

The next look inevitably fell on the two sets of glasses, the first "Night Fall", by designers Tenzin Phuntsok and Kalden Chophel, starring six glass beads with warm and nocturnal nuances to which the description Trollbeads is well suited "When the day goes out the darkness gives us its stars".
Not to be mislead however by the "star" word as there are no stars but we find two flowers, two birds, poppies and leaves.

Flowers of Poise presents a dark base, I would dare to say black and all around four flowers each with the famous bubble in the center. The six petals are predominantly colored in octane (dyed halfway between blue and green) and burnt / orange Siena, with lighter shades to define the edge of the petals and darker central shades to define depth and three-dimensionality.
In my opinion, the Trollbeads institutional photo does not reflect the bead in reality regarding colors.
Of the entire set, I find both the most magnetic bead, able to capture attention even in a varied composition.

Flower of Passion has the same characteristics as the previous one, differing in color. The base is scarlet (namely a "red orange") flamed by a much darker shade, creating a flame effect, while the petals fade from white to yellow, almost creating a sort of overlap and transparency towards the basic color .
Like features, the flower as a whole is less defined than the bead Flowers of Poise. They will be seen one by one to choose the one that best reflects individual expectations.

Birds of Freedom is represented by a small bird resting on a branch, with dark brown and white plumage on a transparent background with slight reflections of mauve (ie a mixture of violet and lavender in its darker shade).

Birds of Joy is represented by a small bird with yellow ocher and cinnabar red plumage, also perched on a small branch and with a transparent bottom without any particular reflections.

Golden Poppies presents stylized flowers with thin and long stems and petals in ocher yellow and cinnabar red (very similar in size to the bird Birds of Joy), on a milky base.

Golden Foliage has a branch of leaves that runs around the bead, in cinnabar and orange red, with a gold leaf base.

The second set is "Daydream", by the designers Tashi, Dhundup and Dolma, whose description states that "The future is bright for those who believe in their dreams".
Sometimes a dream is the most tangible thing there can be and the concreteness of the symbols chosen to represent this set is a demonstration.

Dream Stripes has a pistachio green background and slightly oblique strips in ocher yellow and coral red and a slight glittery touch below.
At first glance it may appear to be more of a spring bead than not properly autumnal.

Dream Blossom reproduces a flower from the aventurine stem (namely glittered) with five drop-shaped petals with faded ocher yellow and cinnabar red, on a milky base.

Mindful, bead with a burgundy background, presents a pattern that seems to reproduce an eye interspersed with white and orange-colored polka dots.
A bead decidedly of character, the one that most attracts attention.
Without a doubt my favorite of this set.

Doodle, with a motif of volutes repeated in a neutral color ranging from gray to khaki gray, is certainly the most abstract of the set, with a coral red background.

Dream Blaze, with a mustard-colored background, has vertical linear motifs in aventurine which differ at a glance from the precision of the decoration of the institutional image.

Flying Thoughts reproduces small flaming leaves with the same shades of color as the Dream Stripes bead and the same pistachio green background.

In my opinion, this set does not have the strength of the other, yet mounted on the bracelet it also reflects a pleasant harmony of colors.


As for the silver beads, what I consider to be the most unique and original is Spirit of Sleep, by the eclectic designer Louise Rimpler.
A man's pajamas is represented as if a man were actually wearing it, in fact he presents himself sitting with his arms crossed and resting on his knees.
The bead can be inserted either horizontally or vertically, therefore also suitable for the necklace.
But I find it remains a bead in its own right compared to the other silvers in the collection, I would have seen it more apt in a Halloween collection to complement the glass bead that was produced. Bead cost € 45.

The Night Dream Bead, in an abstract way, sees represented a crescent moon resting on… I would say a free interpretation, it could be a galaxy like a cloud, both surmounted by small studs. The designer is Søren Nielsen and in this bead it is hard to recognize the same hand that forges the notorious and romantic flowers of the months of birth. Probably he wanted to try something different and, in my opinion, the result is pleasant, given also the small size is well suited for any type of composition creating movement. Bead cost € 25.

Leaves of Grace is a sort of little ball of leaves, therefore a medium-sized round bead.
The leaves in an autumnal collection certainly cannot be missed and its designer Søren Nielsen knows this well, so much so that he also reproduces them in the Framed by Nature bead, in which some leaves and a small twisted tendril leave a space to accommodate one of the Small Round Stones (alternatively a Pearl or a small glass bead such as "Small & Beautiful"). Bead cost € 35.

The Clouds bead, created by Louise Rimpler with the classic "semicircle" motifs with which the clouds are represented, I find more like a pair of corollas of specular flowers that open with butterfly wings; having created the design on a regular basis there is less bonding as the clouds look decidedly uneven. One of those beads to which one can easily attribute different connotations. Bead cost € 35.

Flower Wreath is made up of four small flowers that turn around thus forming a miniature wreath. Simple but effective, it reminds me of the garlands we used to have as children and which, once laid on our heads, made us happy. A bead that lends itself (also given the price of the first band) also to be worn in multiple ways, creating a harmonious floral group. Bead cost € 25.

They are added to the already existing series of gold beads, Ibiscus and Spring Leaves, respectively for € 290 and € 245.

The collection, as I wrote above, also makes use of two closures: Clouds Lock and Lock of Leaves.
Practices both, with the carabiner well in evidence, differ substantially in form, Clouds Lock is more tapered and light, with the same motif of the Clouds bead which, in this case, literally twists around the lock, also by the designer Louise Rimpler.

Lock of Leaves has a fuller shape, conferred by the leaves that surround it; weighing more than the other, it reproduces the design of the Leaves of Grace bead by Søren Nielsen.

Finally, the Nature Girl Pendant and the Nature Girl Earrings by designer Søren Nielsen are on parure.

Nature Girl Pendant refers to the Thumbelina bead, with the face of the little girl born of a flower according to the fairy tale of Andersen.
In this pendant the flowers are predominant and frame the fine face. A bead definitely like a necklace and that at its top can hold a glass or anything else that suggests your imagination.
My interpretation is very simple, just to give you more prominence, Fantasy Necklace With Black Onyx and Amethyst.
Of great impact is undoubtedly the "master" of the entire collection and, the most audacious, will be able to try to insert it also in a bracelet, taking into account the weight.


Nature Girl Earrings are a variant of the same design of the pendant, with the addition of a drop in Black Faceted Onyx which gives undoubted elegance.
I recommend the test, before buying, as it is not comfortable for those with small earlobes.


Trollbeads for this fall has really created a rich collection that has, as its main theme, the oneiric and the imagination, so it won't be difficult to let yourself be carried away by these themes and by its warm and lively colors.
