La mia recensione di "Sweet Shelter" bead esclusivo di Beads Fanatic - My review of "Sweet Shelter" exclusive bead of Beads Fanatic

Beads Fanatic ci sorprende ancora una volta con una esclusiva, realizzata da Niwa Beads.
Si tratta di un bead in argento massiccio, "Sweet Shelter", che letteralmente sta per "dolce rifugio", riproducente una casetta di marzapane, al cui interno troviamo un omino ed una donnina di pan di zenzero.
All'interno? Sì, proprio all'interno!

 

La casetta difatti presenta due piccole porte movibili che, una volta aperte, mostrano un omino ed una donnina di pan di zenzero, pronti ad accogliervi.

Il bead è corredato da un utile astuccio in tessuto e da un portachiavi in legno a forma di casa, con incisi logo, nome e numero di serie.

La tradizione delle casette di marzapane risale al periodo natalizio, eppure io sono convinta che possa estendersi a tutto l'anno perché in fondo, trovare rifugio in un piccolo cottage con tante dolcezze, credo sia sogno di tanti, ripetibile nel tempo e nei mesi.

Silvia e Giovanni di Beads Fanatic avevano un sogno da bambini, ed era quello di possedere una casetta di marzapane.
Non avendolo mai potuto realizzare, hanno pensato di riscattarsi da adulti e, grazie alla collaborazione con Daraphan di Niwa Beads, hanno visto materializzarsi quella che, da bambini, sembrava una chimera: un bellissimo rifugio ispirato alla casetta di marzapane ma in argento!
Un bead davvero pregevole e ricco di dettagli: il tetto innevato, i ghiaccioli, il piccolo comignolo, i pomelli alle porte, le finestrelle (differenti di dimensione e posizione nei due lati della casetta), le piccole tettoie sopra porta e finestra ed il rosone sottotetto, senza dimenticare omino e donnina come biscotti di pan di zenzero all'interno, visibili aprendo le due porticine.

C'è inoltre un particolare che Daraphan ha voluto aggiungere, come un augurio, ossia una serie di X e di O incise sotto la base, che stanno a significare "felicità senza fine".
La stessa felicità che potremmo provare noi se trascorressimo un week-end in un piccolo rifugio di montagna, immerso nella natura invernale, lontano dai problemi quotidiani, col camino acceso e qualcosa di buono da mangiare, insieme ad una persona cara.

Indossare "Sweet Shelter", che senza dubbio si presta ad impersonare il ruolo di protagonista, sarà un po' come sognare, come tornare bambini o semplicemente come custodire un ricordo.
Ognuno di noi difatti potrà assegnarli il significato che desidera, nonostante sia nato da una idea ben precisa di Silvia e Giovanni di Beads Fanatic.

Io, ad esempio, associo questo bead a due episodi differenti.

Il primo è il ricordo della fiaba dei fratelli Grimm "Hänsel e Gretel" che ho amato da bambina e che amo tutt'ora.

Il momento in cui, soli ed affamati nel bosco, i due fratelli vedono la casa fatta di dolci, è una visione molto forte ed evocativa, impossibile resistervi, anche se al suo interno non vi erano omini di pan di zenzero ad accoglierli ma una situazione che li vide trasformarsi in prede.
L'amor fraterno però fece sì che uscissero vincitori dalla prigionia e questa è una delle morali più belle per me, della fiaba, dove amore e fiducia vincono su tutto.

Il secondo ricordo è quello di una gita che feci in Appennino, una domenica d'inverno.

Inoltrandomi a camminare in un boschetto mi trovai di fronte quello che chiamerei senza dubbio un "dolce rifugio": un piccolo, incantevole e colorato chalet immerso nella neve.
Ancora oggi penso a quel luogo fiabesco e sogno di trascorrervi del tempo prezioso.

 

Prima di salutarvi vi rivelo una curiosità ed un consiglio.

Curiosità.

C'è una artista americana, Christine McConnell, che ama ricreare le più svariate ambientazioni anche attraverso l'abitazione dei suoi genitori. In una delle sue performance ha tramutato la dimora in una casa di marzapane, ispirata alla fiaba dei fratelli Grimm. Consiglio.

Se vi piacciono i libri illustrati, se vi piacciono le fiabe, il libro "Hänsel e Gretel" illustrato da Lorenzo Mattotti sulla fiaba dei fratelli Jacob e Wilhelm Grimm, edito da Orecchio Acerbo, allora potrebbe fare al caso vostro.

Le tavole dipinte da Lorenzo Mattotti, ripercorrono i momenti salienti della fiaba, evidenziati dal minimalismo del bianco e nero, creando una atmosfera gotica e misteriosa, intrisa di suspance e pathos.

Il volume, di grande formato, ha la copertina rigida ed i caratteri stampati sopra in oro. Una edizione, a mio parere, strepitosa. Per grandi e piccini senza dubbio.

Beads Fanatic surprises us once again with an exclusive, created by Niwa Beads.
It is a bead in solid silver, "Sweet Shelter", reproducing a marzipan house, inside which we find a little man and a gingerbread woman.
Inside of? Yes, right inside!
In fact, the house has two small movable doors which, once opened, show a little man and a gingerbread woman, ready to welcome you.
The bead is accompanied by a useful fabric case and a wooden keychain in the shape of a house, with engraved logo, name and serial number.

The tradition of marzipan houses dates back to the Christmas period, yet I am convinced that it can extend throughout the year because after all, finding refuge in a small cottage with many sweetnesses, I think it is a dream of many that can be repeated over time and months.

Silvia and Giovanni from Beads Fanatic had a childhood dream, and that was to own a gingerbread house.
Having never been able to achieve it, they thought to redeem themselves as adults and, thanks to the collaboration with Niwa Beads' Daraphan, they saw what materialized, which seemed like a chimera as children: a beautiful refuge inspired by the marzipan house but in silver!
A really valuable and rich bead of details: the snowy roof, the icicles, the small chimney, the door knobs, the windows (different in size and position on the two sides of the house), the small canopies above the door and window and the rose window attic, without forgetting the little man and woman like gingerbread cookies inside, visible by opening the two small doors.

There is also a detail that Daraphan wanted to add, as a wish, that is a series of X and O engraved under the base, which mean "endless happiness".
The same happiness that we could feel if we spent a weekend in a small mountain refuge, surrounded by winter nature, away from everyday problems, with the fireplace on and something good to eat, together with a loved one.

Wearing "Sweet Shelter", which undoubtedly lends itself to playing the role of protagonist, will be a bit like dreaming, like being a child again or just like keeping a memory.
In fact, each of us will be able to assign them the meaning they want, despite being born from a very specific idea of ​​Silvia and Giovanni of Beads Fanatic.



For example, I associate this bead with two different episodes.

The first is the memory of the fairy tale of the Grimm brothers "Hänsel and Gretel" that I loved as a child and that I still love.
The moment when, alone and hungry in the woods, the two brothers see the house made of sweets, it is a very strong and evocative vision, impossible to resist, even if inside there were no gingerbread men to welcome them but a situation that he saw them turn into prey.
Brotherly love, however, meant that victors came out of captivity and this is one of the most beautiful morals for me, of the fairy tale, where love and trust win over everything.

The second memory is that of a trip I made in the Apennines, one winter Sunday. Moving on to walk in a grove I found myself in front of what I would undoubtedly call a "sweet refuge": a small, charming and colorful chalet immersed in the snow.
I still think of that fairytale place and dream of spending precious time there.

Before saying goodbye, I reveal a curiosity and advice.

Curiosity.
There is an American artist, Christine McConnell, who loves to recreate the most varied settings also through the home of her parents.
