La mia recensione della collezione "Infinite Virtù" di Trollbeads - My review of Trollbeads "Infinite Virtues" collection

La collezione "Infinite Virtù" di Trollbeads, ideata dalla designer Mette Saabye, che si compone di cinque beads in argento raffiguranti cinque differenti nodi, meriterebbe di essere posseduta per intero, perché ogni singolo nodo ha la sua intrinseca bellezza ma, dovendo scegliere, la preferenza credo andrà verso quelle virtù cui riteniamo d'esser provvisti oppure, se guidati più semplicemente dal senso estetico, verso quei nodi che ci appaiono maggiormente ben realizzati ed attrattivi.

Da tanto tempo Trollbeads non creava una collezione con un così alto valore simbolico, perché interpretare le virtù attraverso questi nodi in argento, ci porta a riflettere su ciò che siamo, decidendo di indossarne uno o più, così come ci porta a valutare con cura la persona a cui vorremmo farne dono.
Un momento di introspezione quindi che può porre l'attenzione su di un periodo particolare che stiamo vivendo e che ci vede impegnati ad esprimere una o più di queste cinque virtù.

Per rafforzare tali virtù, ci sono delle pietre che possono venire in nostro aiuto.
Ho dunque individuato cinque pietre da abbinare ai cinque nodi, dando così inizio ad una nuova storia che parla di noi o che intendiamo offrire a qualcuno in dono.

Le pietre da me individuate sono differenti da quelle proposte da Trollbeads, le reputo maggiormente appropriate con le virtù rappresentate; presunzione la mia? Leggete, valutate e, nel caso, concedetemela :-)

RESILIENZA

Questo nodo è dedicato alla resilienza: virtù di chi accompagna un pensiero positivo all'azione con perseveranza, essere forti nonostante le avversità, che non significa resistere ad ogni costo ma saper accettare un dolore per poi rialzarsi.

Per potenziare questa virtù c'è una pietra, il Quarzo Affumicato o Fumè.

Permette di affrontare con coraggio i periodi di avversità, rafforza la concentrazione volta a risolvere i conflitti, allontanando paure e stress, concentrandosi nel qui ed ora.

LEALTÀ

Nodo dedicato alla lealtà: virtù di chi rispetta i propri principi, perché prima di tutto si è leali verso se stessi secondo un proprio codice etico e morale, non imposto da altri; vivere in libertà secondo la sintonia tra ciò che si sente e ciò che si fa; virtù di chi si lascia sempre guidare dai valori, che significa rispettare una relazione, qualunque essa sia e nonostante sia finita, perché si può perdere la fiducia ma non il rispetto.

A potenziamento di questa virtù la Ametista.
Fin dai tempi della Grecia antica veniva apprezzata per la sua capacità di favorire lucidità mentale (A-methystos significa infatti "colui che non si ubriaca"), scacciando pensieri negativi, conferendo equilibrio e buon senso. Esalta la capacità introspettiva rivelando i propri valori, donando onestà e rettitudine.

FORZA

Il filosofo Dionigi sosteneva che "la virtù è quella disposizione che rende buono chi la possiede e l'atto che egli compie", ossia essere fedeli alla ragione attraverso gli atti. Non sempre però riesce facile, si possono incontrare degli ostacoli, delle resistenze e allora, quando la volontà si allontana dalla ragione a causa di una sovrastante difficoltà, l'ostacolo può essere rimosso dalla Forza, inibendo il timore, sconfiggendo la paura tra l'individuo e l'obiettivo da raggiungere, vivendo una vita nel pieno delle sue potenzialità.
Forza fa parte delle quattro virtù cardinali, ovvero le quattro virtù umane principali (le altre sono prudenza, giustizia, temperanza).

Potenzia tale virtù la pietra Ematite.
Rinsalda la volontà, la vitalità e la forza interiore inducendo a migliorare le condizioni della propria esistenza, spingendo l'individuo a prendersi cura dei propri bisogni fondamentali, incoraggiandolo a combattere per soddisfarli, donando fermezza mentale e disciplina.

SAGGEZZA

Detta altresì "prudenza", anch'essa fa parte delle quattro virtù cardinali.
Il nodo si ispira alla virtù quale forma di conoscenza capace di suggerire una scelta, come scriveva Epicuro "La saggezza è il massimo bene, per questo motivo è anche più apprezzabile della filosofia stessa e da essa provengono tutte le altre virtù". Poter disporre di un proprio equilibrio intellettuale e morale facendo sì di evitare impulsività ed imprudenze con ponderatezza e diplomazia, grazie alle esperienze vissute cercando un confronto, aiuta nella connessione con gli altri, attingendo alle proprie conoscenze e spaziando oltre il proprio punto di vista.
Secondo Aristotele, una virtù dianoetica, attività mentale messa in atto dal pensiero discorsivo.

 

La pietra volta a potenziare questa virtù è il Lapislazzuli.

Promuove saggezza, appunto, ed onestà, favorendo l'affermarsi della propria verità interiore, della dignità ed onestà, rendendo estroversi e facilitando così l'espressione dei sentimenti; fortifica le capacità dell'intelletto, producendo una mente più curiosa e vivace. Detta anche "pietra dell'amicizia" in quanto stimola la compassione, la franchezza delle opinioni padroneggiando i conflitti.

EMPATIA

Nodo dedicato alla empatia, ossia letteralmente collegata al "sentire", virtù strettamente correlata a tutte le forme di approccio verso un'altra persona, ossia porre uno sguardo non intrusivo, mettersi in ascolto per conoscere meglio l'altro e lasciarlo essere quello che è, il che significa sviluppare un sentimento ricco di amore e comprensione, mettendosi nei panni dell'altro e permettendo di capire chi abbiamo davanti e stabilire un rapporto profondo con lui.

La virtù è potenziata dal Quarzo Rosa.

Favorisce la capacità di identificarsi con gli altri, rendendo sensibili a volte sino alla suscettibilità. Dona calma e fermezza, rendendo elastici ed aperti, rafforzando la capacità di amare e di vivere in modo positivo e costruttivo. Induce alla introspezione volta a trovare equilibrio fra sè ed il mondo circostante, sviluppando l'amore per il bello. Per questo viene considerata la "pietra degli artisti".

I beads si presentano in argento massiccio sotto forma di nodi, con intrecci più o meno complessi.
Possono essere inseriti nel bracciale, bangle o collana, in due modi, attraverso le quattro aperture di entrata/uscita di cui sono provvisti.
Tutti tranne Forza, l'unico bead che ha solamente due cavità.

Resilienza, date le dimensioni delle sue aperture, si presta ad infilarvi ben due bracciali in coda di volpe, dando vita ad un bracciale doppiato unico ed originale con il nodo al centro come focus. Sicuramente il bead maggiormente versatile tra i cinque.

Proprio grazie a questa peculiarità delle quattro aperture createsi grazie all'intreccio di ogni beads, i nodi Resilienza, Lealtà, Saggezza ed Empatia, offrono la opportunità di essere infilati nelle "Collane Fantasia" (a maglia sottile).

Se desiderate approfondire il tema "pietre", c'è un bellissimo manuale che vorrei consigliarvi, si tratta di "L'arte di curare con le pietre" di Michael Gienger, fondatore della Terapia con i minerali, disciplina autonoma fondata su basi scientifiche.
Suddiviso in tre parti, nella prima e nella seconda l'autore presenta i fattori dai quali dipendono le proprietà terapeutiche. Nella terza parte vengono riportate, attraverso schede e fotografie a colori, le proprietà dei principali minerali.
Una lettura appassionante, seppur molto tecnica, una immersione in questo affascinante mondo che correla le pietre al nostro benessere.

La collezione mi piace molto. I nodi si prestano anche per composizioni maschili.

Se dovessi scegliere con riferimento alle virtù, prediligerei senz'altro i beads Lealtà ed Empatia, virtù che mi appartengono.
Orientandomi invece puramente alla piacevolezza estetica, sceglierei Forza e Resilienza.

L'unico nodo che, aldilà del suo significato, non trovo originale è Saggezza, la sua forma mi rimanda a due beads prodotti in passato che sono rispettivamente "Infinito" e "Mondo Riflesso".
Sarà una coincidenza che proprio "Infinito" risulti essere una creazione della designer Mette Saabye? Può capitare di trarre ispirazione da propri lavori precedenti e questo secondo me è il caso ;-)

My review of Trollbeads "Infinite Virtues" collection

The "Infinite Virtues" collection by Trollbeads, created by designer Mette Saabye, which is made up of five silver beads depicting five different knots, deserves to be owned in full, because each single knot has its intrinsic beauty but, having to choose, the I believe preference will go towards those virtues with which we believe we are equipped or, if guided more simply by the aesthetic sense, towards those knots that appear to us to be more well made and attractive.

For a long time Trollbeads did not create a collection with such a high symbolic value, because interpreting the virtues through these silver knots, leads us to reflect on what we are, deciding to wear one or more, as well as leads us to carefully evaluate the person to whom we would like to give it.
A moment of introspection therefore that can focus attention on a particular period that we are experiencing and which sees us committed to expressing one or more of these five virtues.

To strengthen these virtues, there are stones that can come to our aid.
So I identified five stones to combine with the five knots, thus starting a new story that talks about us or that we intend to offer to someone as a gift.

The stones identified by me are different from those proposed by Trollbeads, I consider them more appropriate with the virtues represented; my presumption? Read, evaluate and, if you believe, give me reason ;-)





SINCERITY KNOT

This knot is dedicated (in the Italian version) to resiliency: virtue of those who accompany a positive thought to action with perseverance, being strong despite adversity, which does not mean resisting at all costs but knowing how to accept pain and then get up again.

To enhance this virtue there is a stone, Smoked or Smoky Quartz.
It allows you to bravely face periods of adversity, strengthens concentration aimed at resolving conflicts, removing fears and stress, concentrating on the here and now.





LOYALTY KNOT

Knot dedicated to loyalty: virtue of those who respect their principles, because first of all they are loyal to themselves according to their own ethical and moral code, not imposed by others; live in freedom according to the harmony between what you feel and what you do; virtue of those who always let themselves be guided by values, which means respecting a relationship, whatever it is and despite it being over, because you can lose trust but not respect.

To enhance this virtue the Amethyst.
Since ancient Greek times it has been appreciated for its ability to promote mental lucidity (A-methystos means "the one who does not get drunk"), driving out negative thoughts, giving balance and common sense. It enhances the introspective ability by revealing its values, giving honesty and righteousness.





COURAGE KNOT

The philosopher Dionysius maintained that "virtue is that disposition that makes the possessor good and the act he performs", that is, to be faithful to reason through acts. However, it is not always easy, obstacles, resistances can be encountered and then, when the will moves away from reason due to an overlying difficulty, the obstacle can be removed by the Force (in the Italian version), inhibiting fear, defeating fear between the individual and the goal to be achieved, living a life in full of its potential.
Force is part of the four cardinal virtues, or the four main human virtues (the others are prudence, justice, temperance).


The Hematite stone enhances this virtue.
Strengthens the will, vitality and inner strength by inducing to improve the conditions of one's existence, pushing the individual to take care of his basic needs, encouraging him to fight to satisfy them, giving mental firmness and discipline.




HUMBLE KNOT

Also called "prudence", it too is part of the four cardinal virtues.
The knot is inspired by virtue wisdom (in the Italian version) as a form of knowledge capable of suggesting a choice, as Epicurus wrote "Wisdom is the greatest good, for this reason it is even more appreciable than philosophy itself and all other virtues come from it". Being able to have one's own intellectual and moral balance by avoiding impulsiveness and recklessness with thoughtfulness and diplomacy, thanks to the experiences lived looking for a comparison, helps in connection with others, drawing on one's knowledge and ranging beyond one's own point of view.
According to Aristotle, a dianoetic virtue, mental activity carried out by discursive thought.

The stone aimed at strengthening this virtue is Lapis Lazuli.
It promotes wisdom, in fact, and honesty, promoting the affirmation of one's inner truth, dignity and honesty, making extroverted and thus facilitating the expression of feelings; strengthens the capacities of the intellect, producing a more curious and lively mind. Also called "friendship stone" as it stimulates compassion, the frankness of opinions by mastering conflicts.

 

COMPASSION KNOT

Knot dedicated to empathy (in the Italian version), that is literally connected to "feeling", virtue closely related to all forms of approach to another person, that is to take a non-intrusive look, to listen to get to know the other better and let him be what he is , which means developing a feeling full of love and understanding, putting yourself in the shoes of the other and allowing you to understand who we are facing and establish a deep relationship with him.

Virtue is enhanced by Rose Quartz.
It favors the ability to identify with others, sometimes making them sensitive to susceptibility. It gives calm and firmness, making it elastic and open, strengthening the ability to love and live in a positive and constructive way. It leads to introspection aimed at finding balance between oneself and the surrounding world, developing love for beauty. For this reason it is considered the "artists' stone".

The beads are presented in solid silver in the form of knots, with more or less complex weaves.
They can be inserted in the bracelet, bangle or necklace, in two ways, through the four entry/exit openings with which they are provided.
All except Courage Knot, the only bead that has only two cavities.

Sincerity Knot, given the size of its openings, lends itself to inserting two foxtail bracelets, creating a unique and original doubled bracelet with the knot in the center as a focus. Definitely the most versatile bead of the five.

If you want to deepen the theme "stones", there is a beautiful manual that I would like to recommend, it is "Gemstone Healing" by Michael Gienger, founder of Therapy with minerals, an autonomous discipline based on scientific bases.
Divided into three parts, in the first and second parts the author presents the factors on which the therapeutic properties depend. In the third part the properties of the main minerals are reported through color cards and photographs.
An exciting reading, albeit very technical, an immersion in this fascinating world that correlates the stones to our well-being.

I really like the collection. The knots are also suitable for male compositions.

If I had to choose with reference to the virtues, I would certainly prefer the Loyalty Knot and Compassion Knot beads, virtues that belong to me.


Instead, orienting myself purely to aesthetic pleasure, I would choose Courage Knot and Sincerity Knot.

The only knot that, beyond its meaning, I do not find original is Humble Knot, its shape refers to two beads produced in the past which are respectively "Endless" and "World Within".
Will it be a coincidence that "Endless" turns out to be a creation of the designer Mette Saabye? It may happen to draw inspiration from one's previous works and this in my opinion is the case ;-)
