La mia recensione della collezione autunnale Trollbeads "Armonia della Natura" - My review of the Trollbeads Autumn Collection "Harmony Harvest"

"Armonia della Natura" è la nuova collezione Trollbeads per l'autunno.

Armonia è la parola chiave a cui tutti aneliamo, poiché dove c'è armonia ci sono sicuramente anche serenità e felicità, magari non in egual misura ma senz'altro presenti.

Natura è tutto ciò che ci circonda e senza cui non ci sarebbe dato di vivere, un nome quindi che incute rispetto e attenzione.
La stessa attenzione per i dettagli che Trollbeads mette in ogni propria creazione.

Questa variegata collezione, che si è avvalsa di differenti designers, vede di nuovo protagonista la porcellana, che ha fatto il suo esordio a giugno 2019 a celebrazione del Trollbeads Day.

Le porcellane stavolta hanno però un differente appeal, al posto dei raffinati disegni monocromi di ispirazione cinese, troviamo dei disegni riproducenti ortaggi a suggestione decisamente country.

 

 

 

 

Oltre ai beads in porcellana, che sono sei, anche dodici beads in vetro, sei beads in argento, due pietre, tre stop, tre chiusure ed una collana, per un totale di ben trentatré referenze.
Andiamo a scoprirle.


Beads in porcellana del designer Kim Buck

"Melanzana" si presenta con tre melanzane oblunghe dipinte in color viola e dal loro fogliame in verde scuro, come piccolo dettaglio un fiorellino lilla, tipico dell'ortaggio.

"Mais" riproduce una pannocchia completa di chicchi e foglie, il piccolo dettaglio è un ragnetto nero.
I colori utilizzati sono quasi da ritenersi pastello, dal giallo tenue dei chicchi al verde acquamarina della foglia che avvolge la pannocchia e che, a mio parere, ha poca corrispondenza con la realtà.

"Zucca" vede dipinto l'ortaggio in color arancione, completo di foglie e tralcio in verde scuro, il dettaglio è una farfallina arancione.
Qui la zucca è riprodotta sommariamente, non fosse per il colore, potrebbe essere scambiata per un pomodoro.

"Peperoncino" si presenta con tre peperoncini dipinti in rosso vermiglione, insieme alle proprie foglie lanceolate in verde scuro, come dettaglio una falena.

"Uva" ha riprodotto un grappolo in color viola, con tanto di tralci e foglie in verde ottanio, il dettaglio una libellula dalle ali arancioni e dal corpo azzurro.

"Spighe di Grano" riproduce due spighe in giallo chiaro (lo stesso di Mais) ed il loro fogliame in verde scuro, a dettaglio un piccolo insetto nero che non ho ben identificato, potrebbe essere un moscerino o una zanzara.

Tutti i beads in porcellana sono estremamente lisci al tatto con una finitura semilucida. La forma differisce dai beads in vetro in quanto, visti frontalmente, risultano più sottili e meno tondeggianti. Un bead "slim" se così si può definire.
Il costo cadauno è di €55.

 

 Dei sei beads prediligo Melanzana, Peperoncino e Uva. I meno riusciti, a mio parere, Mais e Zucca che trovo realizzati in modo sommario e poco rispondente sia come colori che come disegno.

Pur non amando lo stile country, nel complesso trovo la serie di porcellane piacevoli; ho optato per un abbinamento con le pietre, ritengo rendano il bracciale un poco più elegante.
Per questa serie Trollbeads avrebbe potuto realizzare degli argenti a tema, invece non c'è nulla che richiami le porcellane, a mio parere un dettaglio non trascurabile.




Beads in argento

"Mandala", della designer Louise Rimpler, è un bead creato per "abbracciare" un bead in vetro o una pietra, non adatto ai beads in porcellana in quanto, come descritto sopra, avendo essi una forma "slim" non entrano appieno nell'abbraccio. Il motivo riprodotto è la sagoma traforata di un disegno mandala, un centrale "a fiore" con otto punte e altrettanti petali.
Il costo è di €35.

"Equilibrio", della designer Louise Rimpler, è un piccolo bead riproducente i petali centrali di Mandala, traforato vede due parti combaciare ad incastro. Infilato nel bracciale, visto frontalmente mostra uno zig-zag formatosi appunto dalle due parti unite.
Il costo è di €35.

 

"Pendente Equilibrio", della designer Louise Rimpler, altro non è che Mandala ripetuto due volte, ossia lo stesso bead concavo che, unito insieme ad un altro, da' forma ad un bead bombato ove si creano otto aperture (tra una punta e l'altra) che è possibile utilizzare per poterlo infilare nel bracciale in modo da vederlo frontalmente, anziché presso il foro centrale che ne darebbe visione di profilo.
Le aperture si rendono utili anche ad utilizzare Pendente Equilibrio per accorciare la collana d'argento. Un po' ostica da infilare ma il risultato è senza dubbio d'effetto e vale la pena "tribolare" un poco ;-)

Si presta inoltre per infilarvi due maglie di bracciale, così da creare un gioiello originale.
Il costo è di €45.

 

"Usignolo", del designer Søren Nielsen, nella sua forma ricorda un poco l'ocarina, piccolo strumento a bocca che in origine veniva riprodotto con le sembianze di un uccellino. Di piccole dimensioni spicca al meglio su di una collana in cui lo si può ammirare posato sopra un bead in vetro, ad esempio.
Il costo è di €45.

"Gatto Giocoso", del designer Søren Nielsen, tra le zampe anteriori e posteriori ha lo spazio per contenere un bead di piccole dimensioni come una Perla o una Pietra Rotonda. Può essere inserito anche un argento delle medesime dimensioni, ad esempio Strada Facendo, Ninfea o Petanque, prevalentemente quindi a forma tondeggiante. Adatto sia per bracciale che per collana dove, ovviamente, renderà al meglio potendolo ammirare in verticale.
Il costo è di €55.

 

 

 

 

"Alveare", del designer Kristian Krysfeldt, è un corposo bead con tre differenti fiori che si susseguono ed altrettante api posate su di essi, pronte a succhiarne il nettare. Da qualunque parte esso si giri, offrirà sempre la visione di un fiore e della sua ape. Perfetto come centrale in una composizione mista.
Il costo è di €65.

Tra tutti apprezzo maggiormente Mandala, che trovo perfetto nell'abbraccio di una pietra e minimale ma d'effetto in un bangle.
Graziosi anche gli altri beads della serie, Pendente Equilibrio ed Equilibrio, anche se un poco ripetitivi.
Di Usignolo fatico a giustificare il prezzo in quanto è un bead davvero molto piccolo.

 

 

Pietre Sfaccettate

 

"Diaspro Rosso", della designer Lise Aagaard, nei due esemplari che ho potuto visionare, si presenta omogeneo, senza inclusioni, uno leggermente più chiaro, rosso mattone, mentre l'altro di tonalità un poco più intensa, rosso bruno, colore dato dalla presenza di ossido di ferro.
Come ben sapete, le pietre hanno ognuna delle proprietà ben specifiche. Gli antichi Egizi utilizzavano il diaspro a forma di scarabeo come amuleto e in era medievale veniva considerata la pietra dei guerrieri, una leggenda difatti narra che nel pomello della spada di Sigfrido, eroe norreno, fosse incastonato un diaspro.
A livello di spirito il diaspro rosso favorisce una indole combattiva aiutando l'individuo a perseguire i propri scopi. Promuove così coraggio, combattività, risolutezza e volontà, donando la forza necessaria per affrontare questioni poco gradite; stimola la fantasia e aiuta a tramutare in realtà le proprie idee; stimola a livello fisico la circolazione dell'energia nell'organismo.
Il costo è di €65.  

"Orneblenda", della designer Lise Aagaard, si presenta con variegature che vanno dal nero al grigio scuro ed al verde che ricordano il granito di cui in effetti ne è costituita, ogni singola pietra può presentare delle differenze sostanziali.
In cristalloterapia l'orneblenda si utilizza per liberarsi dai conflitti e da un senso del dovere limitante, promuovendo il senso di auto gratificazione e la sperimentazione verso il nuovo che attende senza troppe paure.
Il costo è di €65.

La pietra che prediligo è senza dubbio il Diaspro Rosso, anzi la definirei la mia pietra iniziatica, oltre che pietra del cuore. Anni fa mi apparve in sogno a donarmi la soluzione ad un problema. Rimasi allibita per la serie di circostanze che ne conseguirono e quello fu il momento in cui iniziai ad appassionarmi alla cristalloterapia.
Da tempo attendevo che Trollbeads aggiungesse alla collezione di pietre il Diaspro Rosso e finalmente sono stata esaudita!
Aldilà delle sue proprietà, trovo il colore molto bello che ben si abbina con i toni verde e ambrati dell'autunno.  

La collezione "Armonia della Natura" si fregia anche di una collana: "Collana Fantasia con Rubino", della designer Lise Aagaard.

Il rubino sfaccettato a forma di goccia capovolta, qui ha una tonalità rosso violacea con piccole inclusioni dorate, fenomeno chiamato asterismo.
Il rubino, fin dagli antichi, veniva chiamato "pietra del sole", simbolo di forza vitale, d'amore e di passione. Promuove il dinamismo aiutando ad uscire da apatia e passività, rafforzando la capacità di impegno. In amore rende passionali.

L'appeal della pietra è indubbiamente attraente, la forma invece mi lascia un poco dubbiosa, pur essendo il rubino una pietra dalla elevata durezza, seconda solo al diamante, e quindi resistente alle abrasioni, la parte appuntita della goccia temo possa facilmente rompersi, senza contare che, sempre la forma, mi ricorda quella di un pendolo esoterico e non lo trovo appropriato per una collana che vuole rappresentare eleganza. Inoltre mi ricorda il bead Occhio di Falco, un bead che non ho mai amato particolarmente.
Sono comunque certa che riscuoterà un discreto successo, essendo il rubino tra le pietre più ambite.
Il costo della collana è di €240.  

Chiusure

"Chiusura Lucertola", della designer Louise Rimpler, vede riprodotta, da ambo i lati, una lucertola in rilievo, la cui coda diviene gancio seguendone la forma stessa, in modo armonico e funzionale, essendo i moschettoni facili da aprire e chiudere; chiusura a forma piatta.
Il costo è di €65.

"Chiusura Mandala", della designer Louise Rimpler, riproduce su entrambi i lati una porzione del motivo grafico del mandala, a rilievo. Di forma piatta, il moschettone grande risulta leggermente meno pratico in quanto la punta del disegno mandala lo precede in spessore.
Il costo è di €65.

"Chiusura Alveare", del designer Kristian Krysfeldt, riproduce due dei fiori presenti nell'omonimo bead, con altrettante api, uno per lato, mantenendo la medesima continuità del bead. Chiusura a contrariè, i moschettoni risultano comodi in apertura.
Il costo è di €65.

Delle tre chiusure quella che preferisco è la Chiusura Mandala, che va a completare il tema insieme al bead omonimo ed ai beads Equilibrio e Pendente Equilibrio.
Chiusura Lucertola è ben realizzata ma ho una avversione proprio per questo piccolo rettile e non potrei vedermelo al polso!
Chiusura Alveare è una vera e propria miniatura, fiori e api sono stati ricreati in modo eccellente ma di chiusure floreali Trollbeads ne ha già parecchie al suo attivo. 

Stop o Spacer in argento

"Stop Lucertola", della designer Louise Rimpler, vede avvilupparsi tutto intorno ad esso una lucertola in rilievo, la stessa che si trova sulla chiusura, stop di forma sottile. Gli amanti dei rettili avranno così modo di sfoggiare entrambe.
Il costo è di €45.

"Stop Cornetto Portafortuna", del designer Kim Buck, riproduce sei peperoncini che avvolgono in diagonale lo stop di dimensioni pari a un bead medio-piccolo e riprende il motivo presente nel bead in porcellana Peperoncino.
Il costo è di €45.

"Stop Mandala", della designer Louise Rimpler, altro non è che una miniatura del bead omonimo.
Il costo è di €45.

Dei tre, sempre per un discorso di continuità con il tema, prediligo Stop Mandala, trovo comunque grazioso anche lo Stop Cornetto Portafortuna che, per le sue dimensioni, si sostituisce a un bead.



Infine scopriamo insieme il set di beads in vetro "Meraviglie della Natura", dei designers Tenzin Phuntsok and Kalden Chopel.

 

"Soffio d'Amore", si presenta con una base color lilla e quattro piccoli fiori, dalla forma a carciofo e dai sottili petali che ricordano il soffione (o dente di leone), con gambo marrone, foglie verde chiaro e petali violetti. Il gambo risulta leggermente in rilievo ed i fiori posano sul vetro di copertura in violetto trasparente. A confronto con altri, questo bead risulta di piccole dimensioni. Differenze di colore minime.

"Foglie d'Autunno", ha una base color ambra e quattro foglie color rosso scuro contornate di bianco e dal gambo nero, che posano sopra il vetro di copertura trasparente. Bead di piccole dimensioni, presenta minime differenze di colore.

"Amico Fedele", vede riprodotte tre piccole volpi in bianco e nero su vetro di copertura trasparente e base verde acqua scuro con piccole inclusioni, ovalizzate, in verde acqua chiaro e contornate di bianco, un effetto quasi cangiante. Al tatto le piccole volpi presentano il naso in rilievo.

"Foglie Incantate", dalla base color verde lime, ha quattro foglie variegate in bianco e azzurro con nervature marrone scuro, su vetro di copertura trasparente. Di piccole dimensioni, tra i beads visionati questo è l'unico con la nervatura delle foglie in rilievo, non a caso l'ho scelto, avendo io una predilezione per i beads "tattili".

"Soffio di Luce", si presenta con una base color bianco latte, copertura in vetro trasparente sormontata da quattro fiorellini identici nella forma a Soffio d'Amore, però dai colori differenti: gambo marrone chiaro, foglie verde acqua e petali rosa.

"Amico Prezioso", altro non è che una variante colore del bead Amico Fedele, dalla base color cipria trasparente e da inclusioni ovalizzate in arancione contornate di bianco. In questo bead anche la coda delle tre piccole volpi risulta a rilievo come i nasi.

 

Il costo cadauno è di €45.

La collezione da me visionata si ferma qui ma in realtà c'è un altro set di beads in vetro: "Doni della Natura".

Purtroppo svariate gioiellerie in Italia (non mi è dato di sapere all'estero) non hanno ricevuto questo set, altre non hanno ricevuto nemmeno i beads in porcellana.
All'indomani del lancio ufficiale non essere in possesso di almeno un pezzo per ogni bead della collezione, trovo sia disdicevole.
Ci sono collezioniste che attendono con ansia l'uscita delle nuova collezione e recarsi dal proprio rivenditore di fiducia e non trovarla completa è deludente, così come lo è stato per me che debbo recensirla.
Speriamo sia stato un imprevisto e non si ripeta più.

Di questa collezione la cosa che mi salta all'occhio è la mancanza un fil rouge, le porcellane in stile country fatico a vederle abbinate al set di vetri ed anche gli argenti è come fossero micro collezioni a sé stanti, ma i beads, presi singolarmente, sono senz'altro interessanti e ognuno di voi ne troverà almeno uno di cui innamorarsi, di questo ne sono certa ;-)

Per quanto mi riguarda mi piacerebbe sviluppare il tema "Mandala".
Una arte, quella dei Mandala, che risale all'India del 1.500 a.C. e che successivamente è stata elaborata dai monaci tibetani. La parola Mandala in sanscrito significa "cerchio" e i disegni che vengono realizzati all'interno del cerchio, sono forme geometriche simmetriche. I Mandala vengono utilizzati come strumenti di meditazione e questa arte i tibetani la hanno sviluppata utilizzando prevalentemente sabbia colorata, sabbia che dopo giorni di lavoro per creare un Mandala, veniva spazzata via a dimostrazione che nulla dura per sempre.

 

Solitamente per disegnare un Mandala si parte dal centro e sempre dal centro si inizia a colorarlo, una sorta di esercizio di apertura verso l'esterno, un momento di introspezione e di concentrazione.
Una volta terminati sono bellissimi da guardare.
Quello che ho utilizzato nelle fotografie è un Mandala creato dalla mia amica Daniela Züger, che ha un vero talento in questa arte.

My review of the Trollbeads Autumn Collection "Harmony Harvest"

 

 

 

"Harmony Harvest" is the new Trollbeads collection for autumn.

Harmony is the key word we all yearn for, because where there is harmony there are certainly also serenity and happiness, perhaps not in equal measure but certainly present.

Nature is everything that surrounds us and without which we would not be able to live, a name that therefore inspires respect and attention.
The same attention to detail that Trollbeads puts into each of its creations.

This varied collection, which made use of different designers, sees porcelain again as the protagonist, which made its debut in June 2019 to celebrate Trollbeads Day.

This time, however, the porcelains have a different appeal, instead of the refined monochrome drawings of Chinese inspiration, we find designs reproducing vegetables with a decidedly country suggestion.

 

 

 

In addition to the porcelain beads, which are six, there are also twelve glass beads, six silver beads, two stones, three stops, three clasps and a necklace, for a total of thirty-three references.
Let's go and discover them.


Porcelain beads by designer Kim Buck

"Delicate Aubergine" has three oblong aubergines painted in purple and their foliage in dark green, as a small detail a lilac flower, typical of the vegetable.

"Fresh Corn" reproduces a cob complete with grains and leaves, the small detail is a black spider.
The colors used are almost to be considered pastel, from the pale yellow of the grains to the aquamarine green of the leaf that wraps the cob and which, in my opinion, has little correspondence with reality.

"Hearty Pumpkin" sees the vegetable painted in orange, complete with leaves and branches in dark green, the detail is an orange butterfly.
Here the pumpkin is summarily reproduced, were it not for the color, it could be mistaken for a tomato.

"Spicy Chili" comes with three chillies painted in vermilion red, together with their dark green lanceolate leaves, as a detail a moth.

"Juicy Grapes" has reproduced a purple cluster, complete with teal green shoots and leaves, the detail a dragonfly with orange wings and a blue body.

"Giving Seeds" reproduces two ears in light yellow (the same as Corn) and their foliage in dark green, as a detail a small black insect that I have not well identified, could be a gnat or a mosquito.

All porcelain beads are extremely smooth to the touch with a semi-gloss finish. The shape differs from the glass beads in that, seen from the front, they are thinner and less rounded. A "slim" bead if you can define it that way.
The cost each is € 55.

Of the six beads I prefer Delicate Aubergine, Spicy Chilli and Juicy Grapes. The least successful, in my opinion, Fresh Corn and Hearty Pumpkin which I find made in a summary way and not very responsive both in terms of colors and design.
Although I don't like the country style, overall I find the porcelain series pleasant; I opted for a combination with stones, I think they make the bracelet a little more elegant.
For this series Trollbeads could have created themed silver, instead there is nothing that recalls porcelain, in my opinion a not negligible detail.



Silver beads

"On Top", by the designer Louise Rimpler, is a bead created to "embrace" a glass bead or a stone, not suitable for porcelain beads as, as described above, having a "slim" shape they do not fully fit into the hug. The motif reproduced is the perforated outline of a mandala design, a central "flower" with eight points and as many petals.
The cost is € 35.


"Pause", by the designer Louise Rimpler, is a small bead reproducing the central petals of On Top, perforated sees two parts fit together. Inserted into the bracelet, seen from the front it shows a zig-zag formed by the two joined parts.
The cost is € 35.

 

 

"Everlasting Unity", by designer Louise Rimpler, is nothing more than a On Top repeated twice, that is the same concave bead which, combined with another, gives shape to a rounded bead where eight openings are created (between a tip and a 'other) that can be used to be able to insert it into the bracelet so as to see it from the front, instead of near the central hole that would give a profile view.
The openings are also useful for using the Everlasting Unity to shorten the silver necklace. A little tricky to put on but the result is undoubtedly effective and it is worthwhile to "trouble" a little ;-)

And it lends itself to inserting two bracelet links, so as to create an original jewel.
The cost is € 45.

 

"Birds of Calm", by designer Søren Nielsen, in its shape is somewhat reminiscent of the ocarina, a small mouth instrument that was originally reproduced with the appearance of a bird. Small in size it stands out best on a necklace where it can be admired placed on a glass bead, for example.
The cost is € 45.



"Playful Cat", by designer Søren Nielsen, has space between the front and hind legs to hold a small bead such as a Pearl or a Round Stone. A silver of the same size can also be inserted, for example Bumpy Ride Bead, Water Lily or Petanque, therefore mainly with a rounded shape. Suitable for both bracelet and necklace where, obviously, it will make the most of being able to admire it vertically.
The cost is € 55.

 

"Buzzing Family", by designer Kristian Krysfeldt, is a full-bodied bead with three different flowers that follow one another and as many bees placed on them, ready to suck the nectar. Whichever way it turns, it will always offer a vision of a flower and its bee. Perfect as a centerpiece in a mixed composition.
The cost is € 65.

Of all, I appreciate On Top the most, which I find perfect in the embrace of a stone and minimal but effective in a bangle.
The other beads in the series, the Everlasting Unity and Pause, are also pretty, even if a little repetitive.
Birds of Calm I struggle to justify the price as it is a very small bead.



Faceted Stones

"Red Jasper", by designer Lise Aagaard, in the two specimens that I have been able to view, is homogeneous, without inclusions, one slightly lighter, brick red, while the other a slightly more intense shade, brown red, a color given by presence of iron oxide.
As you well know, stones each have very specific properties. The ancient Egyptians used the scarab-shaped jasper as an amulet and in medieval times it was considered the stone of warriors, a legend in fact tells that in the pommel of the sword of Siegfried, a Norse hero, a jasper was set.
At the spirit level, red jasper favors a combative nature by helping the individual to pursue their own goals. It thus promotes courage, combativeness, resolve and will, giving the necessary strength to face unwelcome issues; stimulates the imagination and helps to turn one's ideas into reality; physically stimulates the circulation of energy in the body.
The cost is € 65.

"Hornblende", by designer Lise Aagaard, presents itself with variegations ranging from black to dark gray and green reminiscent of the granite of which it is actually made, every single stone can present substantial differences.
In crystal therapy, hornblende is used to free oneself from conflicts and a limiting sense of duty, promoting a sense of self-gratification and experimentation with the new that awaits without too many fears.
The cost is € 65.

The stone I prefer is undoubtedly the Red Jasper, indeed I would define it as my initiatory stone, as well as a stone of the heart. Years ago he appeared to me in a dream to give me the solution to a problem. I was stunned by the series of circumstances that ensued and that was the moment when I began to get interested in crystal therapy.
I've been waiting for a long time for Trollbeads to add Red Jasper to the stone collection and I was finally granted!
Beyond its properties, I think the color is very beautiful that goes well with the green and amber tones of autumn.




The "Harmony Harvest" collection also boasts a necklace: "Fantasy Necklace with Ruby", by designer Lise Aagaard.

The faceted ruby ​​in the shape of an inverted drop, here has a purplish red hue with small golden inclusions, a phenomenon called asterism.
Ruby, since the ancients, was called "stone of the sun", a symbol of life force, love and passion. Promotes dynamism by helping to get out of apathy and passivity, strengthening the capacity for commitment. In love it makes you passionate.

The appeal of the stone is undoubtedly attractive, the shape instead leaves me a little doubtful, even though the ruby ​​is a stone with a high hardness, second only to the diamond, and therefore resistant to abrasion, the pointed part of the drop I am afraid can easily break, without to count that, always the shape, reminds me that of an esoteric pendulum and I do not find it appropriate for a necklace that wants to represent elegance. It also reminds me of the Ruby Falcon Bead, a bead I've never particularly loved.
However, I am sure that it will have some success, being the ruby ​​among the most coveted stones.
The cost of the necklace is € 240.



Locks

"Lizard Lock", by the designer Louise Rimpler, sees reproduced, on both sides, a lizard in relief, whose tail becomes a hook following its shape, in a harmonious and functional way, since the carabiners are easy to open and close; flat shaped closure.
The cost is € 65.

"Mandala Lock", by the designer Louise Rimpler, reproduces on both sides a portion of the graphic motif of the mandala, in relief. Flat in shape, the large carabiner is slightly less practical as the tip of the mandala design precedes it in thickness.
The cost is € 65.
 

"Buzzing Lock", by designer Kristian Krysfeldt, reproduces two of the flowers present in the homonymous bead, with as many bees, one on each side, maintaining the same continuity as the bead. Contrary closure, the carabiners are comfortable in opening.
The cost is € 65.

Of the three closures, the one I prefer is the Mandala Lock, which completes the theme together with the On Top bead and Pause and Everlasting Unity beads.
Lizard Lock is well done but I have an aversion to this little reptile and I couldn't see it on my wrist!
Buzzing Lock is a real miniature, flowers and bees have been recreated in an excellent way but Trollbeads already has several floral closures to its credit.



Spacers in silver

 

"Lizard Spacer", by designer Louise Rimpler, sees a lizard in relief wrapping around it, the same one found on the lock, a thin stop. Lovers of reptiles will thus be able to show off both.
The cost is € 45.

 

"Chili Spacer", by designer Kim Buck, reproduces six chillies that diagonally wrap the stop of a size equal to a medium-small bead and incorporates the motif present in the Spicy Chili porcelain bead.
The cost is € 45.

"Mandala Spacer", by designer Louise Rimpler, is nothing more than a miniature of the On Top bead.
The cost is € 45.

Of the three, again for a discussion of continuity with the theme, I prefer Mandala Spacer, however I also find the Chili Spacer, pretty, which due to its size replaces a bead.



Finally we discover together the set of glass beads "Companion Kit", by designers Tenzin Phuntsok and Kalden Chopel.

"Flurry of Change", has a lilac base and four small flowers, with an artichoke shape and thin petals reminiscent of the dandelion, with brown stem, light green leaves and violet petals. The stem is slightly in relief and the flowers rest on the transparent violet cover glass. Compared to others, this bead is small in size. Minimal color differences.

"Red Leaf", has an amber base and four dark red leaves surrounded by white and with a black stem, which rest on the transparent cover glass. Small bead, has minimal color differences.

"Loyal Friend", sees reproduced three small foxes in black and white on a transparent cover glass and a dark teal base with small, oval inclusions, in light teal green and surrounded by white, an almost iridescent effect. To the touch the little foxes have a raised nose.

"Green Leaf", with a lime green base, has four variegated leaves in white and blue with dark brown veins, on a transparent cover glass. Small in size, among the beads examined this is the only one with the ribbing of the leaves in relief, it is no coincidence that I chose it, having a predilection for "tactile" beads.

"Quiver of Hope", has a milky white base, transparent glass cover surmounted by four identical flowers in the shape of Flurry of Change, but with different colors: light brown stem, teal leaves and pink petals.

"Joyful Friend", is nothing more than a color variant of the Loyal Friend bead, with a transparent powder color base and oval inclusions in orange surrounded by white. In this bead also the tail of the three small foxes is in relief like the noses.

The cost each is € 45.


The collection I have viewed stops here but in reality there is another set of glass beads: "Harvest Kit".

Unfortunately several jewelers in Italy (I am not informed abroad) did not receive this set, others did not even receive the porcelain beads.
In the aftermath of the official launch, not being in possession of at least one piece for each bead in the collection, I find it unfortunate.
There are collectors who are anxiously awaiting the release of the new collection and going to their trusted dealer and not finding it complete is disappointing, as it was for me that I have to review it.
Let's hope it was an unexpected event and it won't happen again.


The thing that catches my eye is the lack of a fil rouge of this collection, the country style porcelains I struggle to see combined with the glass set and also the silver is as if they were micro collections in their own right, but the beads, taken individually , they are certainly interesting and each of you will find at least one to fall in love with, of this I am sure ;-)

As for me I would like to develop the "Mandala" theme.
An art, that of the Mandalas, which dates back to India in 1,500 BC. and which was subsequently developed by Tibetan monks. The word Mandala in Sanskrit means "circle" and the drawings that are made inside the circle are symmetrical geometric shapes. Mandalas are used as meditation tools and the Tibetans developed this art using mainly colored sand, sand that after days of work to create a Mandala, was swept away to demonstrate that nothing lasts forever.
Usually to draw a Mandala you start from the center and always start coloring it from the center, a sort of exercise of opening towards the outside, a moment of introspection and concentration.
Once finished they are beautiful to look at.
What I used in the photographs is a Mandala created by my friend Daniela Züger, who has a real talent in this art.
