Da tempo volevo realizzare delle interviste agli artigiani ed hobbisti del mondo dei beads e così ho pensato che il Natale fosse l'occasione giusta, per farveli conoscere meglio e per approfittare delle loro proposte circa i regali da fare o da farsi.
Se il mercato dei migliori marchi di gioielli componibili vede parallelamente quello degli artigiani (le cui interviste potete trovare appena prima di questa pubblicazione), c'è un terzo canale ed è quello degli hobbisti.
Tra i tanti hobby che possono esserci, la creazione di gioielli e di accessori per il mondo dei beads è uno di questi, poiché l'amore per il componibile per alcuni è divenuto qualcosa di più.
Gran parte del tempo libero gli hobbisti lo trascorrono così, dando vita ad una passione.
In questo articolo andremo a conoscere un poco più da vicino Giuseppe e Pina, che si sono dimostrati ben disponibili alla mia richiesta di poterli intervistare.

In questo articolo andremo a conoscere un poco più da vicino Giuseppe e Pina, che si sono dimostrati ben disponibili alla mia richiesta di poterli intervistare.
Appassionato di beads componibili, ha iniziato lui stesso a crearne, con cura e dedizione. Le sue creazioni in argento portano il nome di "Beyoutiful Beads".
Giuseppe, da quanti anni hai questa passione e quando hai deciso di metterla in pratica?
Ho deciso di cimentarmi con la realizzazione dei beads dopo aver vinto il "People’s Beads", concorso indetto da Trollbeads nel 2016. Mi sarebbe piaciuto realizzarne tanti altri a dire la verità, e da quel momento tanto è stato il desiderio che ha portato a mettermi alla prova da autodidatta per la loro realizzazione, avendo fortunatamente una discreta manualità.
Cosa ti attrae maggiormente e cosa ispira il tuo hobby?
Mi attrae la fase di realizzazione, l'essere lì seduto cercando di ispirarmi a tutto ciò che mi circonda: natura, sentimenti, emozioni, ricordi, persone, è da un universo interiore che racchiude tutto questo che poi vengono fuori i miei beads.
Quali difficoltà incontri nella realizzazione?
Non essendo propriamente del mestiere e dunque realizzando i miei beads, e tutto ciò che ad essi è collegato, da autodidatta, senz'altro si può dire che la mia difficoltà sia prettamente tecnica. Molto spesso giungo a dettagli delle cose che realizzo per vie molto più tortuose, rispetto magari a come le svolgerebbe più semplicemente un professionista. Mi ingegno.
Cosa ti dona maggior soddisfazione mentre crei e a creazione ultimata?
Sicuramente vederli finiti e completi prima di chiunque altro; riuscire a verificare se le aspettative finali sono all'altezza di come le avevo figurate nella mia mente e poi, in ultimo, senz'altro notare la reazione del pubblico che vede i pezzi per la prima volta. Quest'ultimo penso sia l'attimo più bello, anche se quello più breve per certi aspetti, non te lo godi mai fino in fondo.
Ti piacerebbe che tutto questo divenisse la tua professione?
Mi piacerebbe moltissimo, in genere sono solito dire "mai dire mai" anche perché già il solo fatto di riuscire a realizzarli, chi l'avrebbe mai detto!? E invece in un modo o nell'altro è successo. Tuttavia credo che farla diventare una professione a tutti gli effetti forse sia tardi, qualcosa di connesso o affine sarebbe più fattibile ma non saprei neppure io dire quale.
Cosa proponi in vendita per questo Natale?
Purtroppo quest'anno, per la prima volta, non proporrò nulla di nuovo per Natale e la motivazione è in gran parte legata ai tempi difficili e incerti che tutti noi stiamo vivendo. Più che altro non avendo la piena autonomia di ciò che realizzo, il tutto mi impone dei freni. Spero tanto che questo periodo passi e che si possa finalmente tornare alla normalità a cui tutti eravamo abituati, il mondo ha bisogno anche di bellezza e di auto-coccole come quelle che si fanno quando si acquista un bead per se o per chi più si ama.
Ad ogni modo nella disponibilità di ciò che ho realizzato in passato, per chi volesse ho pezzi per tutti i gusti, c'è solo l'imbarazzo della scelta.
Al-Be-Ro: tris di beads a rappresentazione essenziale del più classico abete natalizio; le tre parti singolarmente rappresentano stelle, che poste una sull'altra danno luogo alla magia compositiva che costituisce Al-Be-Ro. Ideale per una rappresentazione compositiva su collana lunga. Con l'utilizzo del bead "E' nata una stella" in cima, si va ad aggiungere un puntale originale e di sicuro effetto.

Stella del cammino: un bead cometa indossabile su collana o bracciale in

section: sezione circolare di un tronco, ideale in qualsiasi
composizione a tema natura, Natale, autunno, boschi incantati.

barrel: nella botte piccola c'è il vino buono e vi assicuro anche in
questa! Ideale in bracciali natalizi, autunnali, e perchè no adatto
anche al polso di bracciali maschili.
Bocciolo tardivo: bead bocciolo di rosa tardivo, tipico di fine settembre.
Roseto Fiorito: bead floreale a rappresentazione di quei roseti tipici
del mese di maggio, quando il sole inizia leggermente a scaldarsi e la
natura ringrazia.
Poinsettia: bead a tre fori indossabile su collana per accorciarla o su bracciale che rappresenta il più classico dei fiori natalizi, un must have che in qualsiasi bracciale di Natale non dovrebbe mai mancare.
Giuseppe
ho avuto già l'onore ed il piacere di intervistarlo in veste di
vincitore del concorso Trollbeads (potete trovare la intervista qui nel
blog, se vi interessa approfondire la storia di Giuseppe legata al mondo
dei beads e altre curiosità su di lui).
Nasce
come hobbista ma lo si può definire un artista, poiché, seppur da
autodidatta, ha iniziato progettando, disegnando e infine modellando la
cera dei suoi beads. Una allure quella dei suoi argenti naïve,
caratteristica che a me piace molto perché parla di lui e del suo
percorso, della sua ricerca per affinare il proprio talento. Perché è
indubbio che qui si tratta di talento.
Se
amate i fiori, non potete non pensare di acquistare la sua Poinsettia,
adatta anche a chi non ha il pollice verde, sarà sempre splendidamente
fiorita su bracciali o collane ;-)
C'è
un bead inoltre che io amo particolarmente, non è tra questi ma vi
lascio il nome affinché andiate a curiosare sulla sua pagina cercandolo:
Nido del cuore. Evoca emozioni sopite e l'originalità di dare vita
appunto ad una emozione, è un'altra caratteristica di Giuseppe.
Lui
dice di non avere nulla di nuovo per questo anno…ma la ricchezza delle

altro, poiché la sua interpretazione del Natale è pressoché completa.

Pina, da quanti anni hai questa passione e quando hai deciso di metterla in pratica?
Sono ormai una decina di anni che ho deciso di metterla in pratica, prima realizzavo solo per me poi ho iniziato a realizzare anche per chi me li chiedeva.
Cosa ti attrae maggiormente e cosa ispira il tuo hobby?
Sono sempre stata attratta dai gioielli componibili e ormai, da poco più di tre anni, sono diventata una vera appassionata, o meglio "dipendente" dal marchio Trollbeads. Il mio hobby si ispira al fatto che adoro coordinare i gioielli con l'outfit che indosso, pertanto mi piace moltissimo, insieme a chi me lo chiede, costruire e realizzare gioielli su misura a seconda dell'abito indossato. Le mie sono realizzazioni interamente personali e personalizzabili.
Quali difficoltà incontri nella realizzazione?
La difficoltà maggiore è, talvolta, reperire i materiali dai fornitori. Ultimamente, vista la mia passione per Trollbeads, ho iniziato a realizzare catenine di sicurezza, collane con pietre naturali e piccoli pendenti tutti montati in argento italiano.
Un'altra difficoltà è riuscire a trovare orari disponibili per far effettuare le saldature nel laboratorio orafo a cui mi appoggio, in quanto non posseggo lo strumento per poterle fare io da sola.
Cosa ti dona maggior soddisfazione mentre crei e a creazione ultimata?
Il prodotto realizzato deve piacere principalmente a me.
In genere non realizzo cose che non mi convincono, neanche su richiesta.
Ti piacerebbe che tutto questo divenisse la tua professione?
Magari quando andrò in pensione sì, per adesso amo ancora troppo il mio lavoro. Questa è una passione che, chiaramente avendo i suoi costi, ho iniziato a tramutare in piccole vendite tra amiche e colleghe o attraverso chi mi conosce tramite Facebook.
Cosa proponi in vendita per questo Natale?
Nel capo dei componibili al momento, viste anche le problematiche relative al lockdown, ho pronte alcune collane, catenine di sicurezza e pendenti con perle coltivate.

Pina, che ho conosciuto attraverso i gruppi Facebook dedicati ai
beads, è una donna intraprendente e determinata, che mette passione in
ciò che fa, partendo anzitutto dal suo lavoro che credo sia la sua prima
e vera grande passione. La stessa passionalità che trasuda dalle sue
parole, la mette nel creare dei gioielli eleganti che rispecchiano non
soltanto gli outfit ma tengono fede al suo gusto che, giustamente, non è
disposta a svendere in compromessi. Chi progetta ha il diritto di
rifiutare una richiesta che non rispetta il proprio modo di interpretare
le creazioni.

I think the latter is the most beautiful moment, even if the shortest in some respects, you never enjoy it to the full.
Would you like all of this to become your profession?
I would love to, generally I usually say "never say never" also because the mere fact of being able to make them, who would have thought that! But one way or another it happened. However, I believe that making it a full-fledged profession may be late, but something connected or similar would be more feasible, but I don't even know which one.
What are you selling for this Christmas?
Unfortunately this year, for the first time, I will not propose anything new for Christmas and the motivation is largely linked to the difficult and uncertain times that we are all experiencing. More than anything else, not having the full autonomy of what I create, everything imposes some brakes on me. I really hope that this period passes and that we can finally return to the normalcy we were all used to, the world also needs beauty and self-pampering like the ones you do when you buy a bead for yourself or for those you love most. .
In any case, in the availability of what I have created in the past, for those who want I have pieces for all tastes, there is only spoiled for choice.

Giuseppe I have already had the honor and pleasure of interviewing him as the winner of the Trollbeads competition (you can find the interview here in the blog, if you are interested in learning more about Giuseppe's story linked to the world of beads and other curiosities about him).
He was born as a hobbyist but can be defined as an artist, since, albeit self-taught, he began by designing, drawing and finally modeling the wax of his beads. An allure that of his silver, ship, a feature that I really like because it speaks of him and his path, of his search to refine his talent, because there is no doubt that here it is about talent.

PINA ROMANO lives in Naples (Italy), is a Biologist and teaches in a high school, but for more than fifteen years she has been working with disabled students and is the manager of a group of thirty support colleagues. From this year it manages relations with the families of forty-eight children with disabilities. His favorite hobby is the creation of handcrafted jewelry, he mainly loves semi-precious natural stones and delights in their realization in his spare time. His creations bear the name of "Pucci Jewels".
Pina, how many years have you had this passion and when did you decide to put it into practice?
It is now about ten years that I have decided to put it into practice, first I realized only for myself then I started to realize also for those who asked me.
What attracts you most and what inspires your hobby?
I have always been attracted to modular jewels and now, for just over three years, I have become a true enthusiast, or rather "addict" to the Trollbeads brand. My hobby is inspired by the fact that I love coordinating jewels with the outfit I wear, therefore I really like, together with those who ask me, to build and make bespoke jewels according to the dress worn. Mine are entirely personal and customizable creations.
What difficulties do you encounter in making it?
The greatest difficulty is sometimes finding materials from suppliers. Lately, given my passion for Trollbeads, I started making safety chains, necklaces with natural stones and small pendants all mounted in Italian silver.
Another difficulty is being able to find available times to have the welds carried out in the goldsmith's workshop I rely on, as I do not have the tool to be able to do them myself.
What gives you the most satisfaction while you create and when you are finished?
The product made must please me mainly.
Generally I don't do things that don't convince me, not even on request.
Would you like all of this to become your profession?
Maybe when I retire yes, for now I still love my job too much. This is a passion that, clearly having its costs, I started to turn into small sales between friends and colleagues or through those who know me through Facebook.
What are you selling for this Christmas?
In the head of the modular at the moment, also given the problems related to the lockdown, I have some necklaces, safety chains and pendants with cultured pearls ready at the moment.
Pina, whom I met through the Facebook groups dedicated to beads, is an enterprising and determined woman, who puts passion into what she does, starting first of all from her work which I believe is her first and true great passion. The same passion that exudes from her words, puts her in creating very elegant jewels that reflect not only the outfits but that keep faith with her taste and that, rightly, she is not willing to sell off in compromises. Those who create have the right to refuse a request that does not respect their way of interpreting the creations.
