Trollbeads Club e il bead del secondo compleanno: "Emozione" - Trollbeads Club and second birthday bead: "Gentle Touch"

Il Trollbeads Club ha compiuto due anni e per l'occasione Trollbeads ha pensato ad un bead esclusivo: "Emozione".

I membri del Club sono stati avvisati da una prima mail che recitava così: "Siamo lieti di invitarti al secondo compleanno del Trollbeads Club! Quando? Il 3 giugno, segna subito sul calendario questa data. Come festeggeremo? Con un lancio davvero emozionante…riservato solo agli iscritti e disponibile in esclusiva sul sito del Trollbeads Club dal 3 al 5 giugno. Contiamo sulla tua presenza per festeggiare insieme e condividere momenti speciali!".

Difatti, accedendo al Trollbeads Club con le proprie credenziali nei giorni 3, 4 e 5 giugno, era possibile ordinare il bead (una sola unità), del costo di €65, per poi ritirarlo presso il rivenditore di fiducia scelto in fase di iscrizione, fatto salvo l'esaurimento scorte in quanto disponibile in quantità limitate.

Allegato al bead, tre adesivi riproducenti uno il logo del Trollbeads Club, il secondo due nuvolette unite da un arcobaleno e tre gocce di pioggia e il terzo una casetta posata su di una nuvola e un arcobaleno che nasce dal tetto.

Altro non sono che illustrazioni ad acquerello, che abbiamo visto sul sito e su alcuni cataloghi, tradotte in decalcomanie.

Se posso dire la mia (e la dirò) avrei preferito una cartolina, magari da poter spedire ad una amica; questi adesivi trovo siano poco attraenti e di poca o nulla utilità. Niente che attaccherei alla automobile o alla bicicletta, per intenderci.

Il motto di "Emozione" è "Custodisci ciò che è davvero importante".

Le emozioni difatti spesso servono proprio a questo, a custodire dei ricordi per emozionarsi di nuovo al loro pensiero.

Il bead, della designer Lise Aagaard, come molti di voi avranno già notato, è una variante colore dei precedenti "Sogno di Luce" della designer Neetu Gupta e "Festa" della designer Lise Aagaard, rispettivamente rilasciati a marzo 2019 e dicembre 2020.

Le caratteristiche in comune dei tre beads sono: la sfaccettatura rettangolare, le righe orizzontali nere e le sottili righe in avventurina ramata.

A differire sono i colori caratterizzanti i beads: blu cobalto per "Sogno di Luce", verde smeraldo per "Festa" e rosa pastello per "Emozione". 

Le sottili righe in avventurina a incorniciare le righe nere, rendono il bead molto luminoso, la cui brillantezza viene enfatizzata dalla sfaccettatura rettangolare che, a differenza di quella classica romboidale, conferisce un aspetto contemporaneo. 

Da sottolineare che questa sfaccettatura è esclusiva (per ora) di questi tre beads.

Come ogni bead in vetro, si possono notare delle differenze colore a seconda della luce da cui viene colpito, che sia naturale o artificiale, calda o fredda, così come il motivo grafico delle righe, essendo realizzato a mano, può differire mostrando rigature più spesse o più sottili.

L'esemplare in mio possesso ha delle piccolissime bollicine qua è là, non volute ma date dalla lavorazione. Solitamente questo tra i collezionisti può essere visto come un difetto, mentre in realtà è soltanto sinonimo di pezzo unico realizzato a mano, con tutte le caratteristiche del caso. 

"Emozione" all'estero viene venduto come bead legato agli eventi in store, così come i due precedenti.

Resta di base l'idea di collegare questo bead, dall'aspetto elegante, a un momento celebrativo.

Trovo sempre molto discutibili le ragioni che portano a differenziare l'uscita di un nuovo bead a seconda del paese di distribuzione, così come trovo discutibile dare nomi e significati differenti a seconda della lingua, ma qui forse mi addentro in un campo, quello delle strategie di marketing, di non facile interpretazione.

Alla fine ciò che conta è che il bead piaccia, che ci trasmetta appunto una emozione e che possiamo indossarlo con piacere.

Nomi e significati possono subire le nostre personali variazioni, a seconda di quale tema entrerà a far parte o a cosa o a chi è dedicato, esattamente come sostiene Søren "Solvsmed" Nielsen, ossia che possano essere reinterpretati a seconda di chi li acquista.

Una filosofia che è sempre stata mia sin dall'inizio quando mi approcciai a Trollbeads nel 2008.

Ho utilizzato "Emozione" in una composizione che ricalca i colori del bead stesso,  nero e un tocco di rosa, mantenendo intatta (almeno credo) la sua eleganza.

Può essere piacevole indossato anche da solo nel bangle, ha la stoffa per fare il protagonista!

Una versione poi sui toni del viola, un bracciale leggero che per me risulta perfetto da indossare in questa fine primavera dal sapore caldo dell'estate.

Per sfruttare le linee ramate del bead,  "Emozione" trovo sia adatto anche ad essere indossato su di un bangle in rame e, per contrastare l'eleganza sua naturale, ho scelto il bangle martellato di Ilko Beads.

Decisamente a contrasto invece in questa versione, sempre minimal, con due beads in vetro in verde acquamarina variegati con motivi in beige, originale design di Aldo Giannone.

E per approfittare del nuovo start Trollbeads "Bracciale dei Sogni", un tocco di verde credo ci possa stare tra il rosa e il nero.

Infine un paio di composizione nel bangle, una a tre beads e l'altra a sei beads, entrambi romantici.

Mentre componevo il bracciale in variante viola, mi è venuto in mente un libro che possiedo, dalla copertina sui medesimi toni di colore e così l'ho preso dalla mia libreria per scattargli una foto insieme…ehh lo so, lo so che state pensando che qui c'è un pizzico di follia…ma forse qualcuno di voi mi potrà capire ;-)

Si tratta del libro "La sovrana lettrice" di Alan Bennett, edito in Italia da Adelphi, nella traduzione di Monica Pavani.

De "La sovrana lettrice", ho apprezzato l'idea volta a creare una storia fondata sui libri, nemmeno poi così assurda, con protagonista appunto la sovrana; in fondo la Regina Elisabetta ha sempre avuto tanti impegni e dedicare tempo alla lettura "per diletto", sicuramente le sarà risultato difficile.

Non mi ha strappato sonore risate come pensavo, mi ha comunque piacevolmente intrattenuta.

Svariati i punti di riflessione, uno su tutti il piacere della lettura e il biasimo di chi non riesce a condividere questa passione, così come le citazioni, sempre a me gradite.

La fine ironia ed arguzia di Bennett, restano la cifra che lo contraddistinguono e me lo fanno tanto amare, annoverandolo tra i miei autori preferiti.

Perché ci si emoziona con i beads ma anche con i libri.

Adesso però sono curiosa di sapere cosa ne pensate di "Emozione"? Trovate abbia un colore più intrigante rispetto le precedenti varianti?

Il mio preferito resta il verde ma confesso che anche questo rosa mi piace molto.

A questo punto sorge spontanea la domanda…quale sarà la prossima variante?

Trollbeads Club and second birthday bead: "Gentle Touch"

The Trollbeads Club is two years old and for the occasion Trollbeads has thought of an exclusive bead: "Gentle Touch".
Club members were alerted by an initial email that read: "We are delighted to invite you to the second birthday of the Trollbeads Club! When? On June 3, mark this date right away. How are we going to celebrate? Only to members and available exclusively on the Trollbeads Club website from 3 to 5 June. We count on your presence to celebrate together and share special moments!".

In fact, by accessing the Trollbeads Club with your credentials on 3, 4 and 5 June, it was possible to order the bead (one unit only), costing €65, and then collect it from the trusted dealer chosen during registration, subject to stock exhaustion as it is available in limited quantities.


Attached to the bead, three stickers reproducing one the logo of the Trollbeads Club, the second two clouds joined by a rainbow and three raindrops and the third a house placed on a cloud and a rainbow that comes from the roof.
They are nothing more than watercolor illustrations, which we have seen on the site and in some catalogs, translated into decals.
If I can say mine (and I will say it) I would have preferred a postcard, perhaps to be sent to a friend; I find these stickers unattractive and of little or no use. Nothing that I would attach to the car or bicycle, so to speak.

Gentle Touch's motto is "Keep what is really important".

In fact, emotions often serve precisely this purpose to keep memories to get excited again at their thought.

The bead, by designer Lise Aagaard, as many of you have already noticed, is a color variant of the previous "Illumination" by designer Neetu Gupta and "Sophistication" by designer Lise Aagaard, respectively released in March 2019 and December 2020.
The common characteristics of the three beads are: the rectangular facet, the horizontal black lines and the thin lines in coppery aventurine.
The colors characterizing the beads differ: cobalt blue for "Illumination", emerald green for "Sophistication" and pastel pink for "Gentle Touch".

The thin aventurine lines, framing the black lines, make the bead very bright, whose brilliance is emphasized by the rectangular facet which, unlike the classic rhomboidal one, gives it a contemporary look.
It should be emphasized that this facet is exclusive (for now) of these three beads.





Like any glass bead, color differences can be noted depending on the light from which it is struck, whether natural or artificial, hot or cold, as well as the graphic pattern of the lines, being made by hand, can differ showing thicker lines or thinner.
The specimen in my possession has very small bubbles here and there, unwanted but given by the processing. Usually this can be seen as a defect among collectors, while in reality it is only synonymous with a unique piece made by hand, with all the characteristics of the case.

"Gentle Touch" abroad is sold as a global event bead 2021, as well as the previous two. The idea of connecting this elegant-looking bead to a celebratory moment remains basic.

I always find very questionable the reasons that lead to differentiate the release of a new bead according to the country of distribution, just as I find it questionable to give different names and meanings depending on the language, but here perhaps I enter a field, that of strategies marketing, not easy to interpret.
In the end, what matters is that we like the bead, that it gives us an emotion and that we can wear it with pleasure.
Names and meanings can undergo our personal variations, depending on which theme will become part of or to what or to whom it is dedicated, exactly as Søren "Solvsmed" Nielsen claims, that is they can be reinterpreted according to who buys them.
A philosophy that has always been mine since the beginning when I approached Trollbeads in 2008.

I used "Gentle Touch" in a composition that follows the colors of the bead itself, black and a touch of pink, keeping intact (at least I think) its elegance.

It can also be nice to wear alone in the bangle, it has what it takes to be the protagonist!

Then a version in shades of purple, a light bracelet that for me is perfect to wear in this late spring with a warm summer flavor.

To take advantage of the copper lines of the bead, I find it also suitable to be worn on a copper bangle and, to contrast its natural elegance, I chose the hammered bangle by Ilko Beads.

Definitely contrasting instead in this version, always minimal, with two glass beads in variegated aquamarine green with beige motifs, an original design by Aldo Giannone.

And to take advantage of the new Trollbeads "Exhale Bracelet" start, I think a touch of green can be between pink and black.

Finally, a couple of bangle compositions, one with three beads and the other with six beads, both romantic.


While I was composing the purple variant bracelet, I came up with a book I own, with the cover in the same color tones and so I took it from my library to take a picture of it together ... ehh I know, I know you are thinking that here there is a pinch of madness ... but maybe some of you will understand me ;-)

This is the book "The Uncommon Reader" by Alan Bennett, published in Italy by Adelphi, translated by Monica Pavani.

From "The Uncommon Reader", I appreciated the idea aimed at creating a story based on books, not even so absurd, with the sovereign as the protagonist; after all, Queen Elizabeth has always had many commitments and devoting time to reading "for pleasure" will surely have been difficult for her.
This book didn't get me laughs like I thought, but he still entertained me pleasantly.
Several points of reflection, one above all the pleasure of reading and the blame of those who are unable to share this passion, as well as the quotes, always pleasing to me.
Bennett's fine irony and wit, remain the hallmarks that distinguish him and make me love him so much, counting him among my favorite authors.

Because you get excited with beads but also with books.
But now I'm curious to know what you think of "Gentle Touch"? Do you find it has a more intriguing color than the previous variations?
My favorite is still green but I confess that I like this pink a lot too.

At this point the question spontaneously arises… what will be the next variant?
