Trollbeads Day 2021

 

Il Trollbeads Day è la giornata internazionale dedicata a celebrare tutti i fans Trollbeads ed ogni anno uno o più beads in Edizione Limitata vengono creati appositamente per questo evento.

Il primo anno in cui Trollbeads ha dato vita a questa giornata di festeggiamenti è stato il 2014, con il bead in argento "I Tre Guardiani", del designer Søren Nielsen.

2015: il bead in vetro sfaccettato "L'Alba dei Sogni", della designer Lise Aagaard.

2016: anno in cui ricorreva il quarantesimo anniversario dell'azienda fondata nel 1976, il bead in oro "Quadrifoglio della Fortuna" a cui ha fatto seguito il "Bracciale Quadrifoglio della Fortuna" in argento, con chiusura e bead raffiguranti un insieme di quadrifogli, del designer Søren Nielsen.

2017: la pietra sfaccettata "Quarzo Rutilato", della designer Lise Aagaard.

2018: due beads in ambra a cui sono state sovrapposte piccole api in argento, "Ali del Tempo", della designer Lise Aagaard. 

2019: il set di beads in porcellana dipinta "Porcellana Cinese", dei designers Kim Buck e Zhang Qiao.

2020: il set di beads in vetro intarsiato "Trollbeads Day 2020", della designer Neetu Gupta.

Tutti i beads di ogni edizione, riportano inciso l'anno di uscita e sono stati prodotti in Edizione Limitata, veri e propri gioielli da collezionismo.

Da un po’ di tempo a questa parte tra i gioielli componibili, c’è una tendenza che vede protagoniste le pietre preziose, in solitaria o in coppia con gli argenti.

Trollbeads non è da meno e per festeggiare il Trollbeads Day 2021, che si tiene il giorno 19 giugno, ha deciso di puntare su tre beads che hanno questa caratteristica: una pietra abbracciata dall'argento.

"Doni dell'Oceano", "Doni del Cielo" e "Doni della Terra", del designer Søren Nielsen, sono così beads in argento di forma tondeggiante con pietre a cabochon, e realizzati in Edizione Limitata con l'incisione dedicata al 2021. Il costo è di €65 cadauno.

Andiamo a scoprirli uno per uno.

Doni dell'Oceano, il cui motto recita "Ama e proteggi l'oceano", è un bead la cui pietra Lapislazzuli viene abbracciata dall'argento con dettagli intarsiati, incisi ed a rilievo che riproducono soggetti marini quali una sirena, un pesce, alghe fluttuanti e un cavalluccio marino, elemento di design predominante in quanto si pone sul fondo del bead, con un intarsio che lascia intravedere la pietra cabochon, quindi liscia e tondeggiante, con due piccole griffe a trattenerla per maggiore sicurezza, una delle quali sormontata da un'alga. La brunitura dell'argento conferisce il tipico aspetto di ogni bead in argento del brand.

Il Lapislazzuli, apprezzato per le sue inclusioni, negli esemplari da me visionati ne ho notate in minima parte, resta comunque una bella pietra di blu intenso che riesce ad adattarsi bene in una composizione a tema mare.

Il Lapislazzuli, i cui maggiori giacimenti si trovano in Afganistan, prende il nome dal persiano "lapis lazulo" e significa "pietra azzurra". In cristalloterapia viene utilizzato per promuovere saggezza, onestà, dignità e rettitudine, rendendo estroversi ed aiutando nella espressione dei propri sentimenti e delle proprie opinioni, oltre a padroneggiare i conflitti.

Doni del Cielo, il cui motto dice "Ama e proteggi il cielo", è un bead a cui è stata associata la pietra Calcedonio e l'argento che la contiene presenta incisioni ed un intarsio. L'intarsio si trova sul fondo del bead, da cui si può facilmente vedere il retro della pietra, molto luminosa anche in controluce, e raffigura il sole con i suoi raggi incisi. Quella che io chiamo la parte frontale del bead, vede incisa la sagoma di un aeroplano, mentre la parte alta che trattiene la pietra ha i contorni sagomati a nuvolette a cui seguono alcune incisioni ad enfatizzarne il design. Anche qui presenti due piccole griffe che si mimetizzano meglio tra i contorni della sagomatura.

Questo bead, dei tre, è l'unico che, presentando tre fori, consente l'utilizzo anche nella collana Fantasia.

Il Calcedonio, di colore azzurro lattiginoso, grazie alla sua traslucenza presenta delle sfumature rosato ambrate, più o meno evidenti; gli esemplari da me fotografati rispecchiano le caratteristiche della pietra.

Il Calcedonio, che oltre la Turchia annovera giacimenti in vari paesi tra cui l'Italia, precisamente a Volterra in Toscana, prende il nome da "Calcedonia" un porto della Bitinia, antico regno romano nel territorio dell'odierna Turchia. In cristalloterapia viene utilizzato per generare consapevolezza, aumentando fiducia in se stessi e ottimismo nei confronti della vita, oltre a rafforzare la memoria, l'abilità dialettica, consentendo di affrontare più facilmente situazioni di stress.

  

Doni della Terra, il cui motto è "Ama e proteggi la terra", è un bead la cui pietra Avventurina risulta inclusa nell'argento intarsiato, inciso e con rilievi. La parte frontale presenta un albero la cui chioma a sagoma è in rilievo e le radici, il tronco ed i rami incisi. Su di un ramo è posato un piccolo uccellino a rilievo. La parte posteriore presenta anch'essa un albero e accanto un farfalla incisa. L'intarsio sul fondo del bead raffigura un cervo, da cui si intravede il retro della pietra. Due piccole griffe si mimetizzano tra le chiome dei due alberi e dei contorni frastagliati che contengono l'avventurina.

L'Avventurina, di colore verde, possiede piccole inclusioni che riflettono la luce e danno vita al fenomeno dell'avventurescenza; gli esemplari che ho visionato sono di colore verde intenso e con sprazzi di inclusioni, alcune più evidenti e luminose di altre.

L'Avventurina, il cui principale giacimento si trova in India, ha il proprio nome che deriva dall'italiano "a ventura", riferendosi alle scaglie micacee distribuite "a caso" sulla superficie; in cristalloterapia viene utilizzata per favorire l'individualità e la capacità di prendere decisioni, rende pazienti e contrasta il nervosismo stimolando tolleranza e disponibilità nei confronti degli altri, oltre a stimolare entusiasmo ed inventiva.  

Il Trollbeads Day 2021 si tiene il 19 Giugno presso tutti gli store Trollbeads ed i rivenditori autorizzati.

Il gadget di quest'anno, legato all'acquisto di uno dei tre beads esclusivi, è un Porta Occhiali in pelle ecologica, su cui campeggia il logo Trollbeads stampato a caldo, in tre varianti colore pastello: verde, viola e azzurro.

Tutti e tre i beads ritengo siano molto belli, difficile quindi scegliere.

Ho comunque un preferito, è "Doni del Cielo"; oltre ad attrarmi tanto il Calcedonio, mi piace la semplicità dell'argento che lo abbraccia ed il sole da cui si intravede il retro della pietra, senza contare il fatto che posso utilizzarlo anche nella collana.

TROLLBEADS DAY 2021

 

 

Trollbeads Day is the international day dedicated to celebrating all Trollbeads fans and each year one or more Limited Edition beads are created specifically for this event.
The first year Trollbeads brought this day of celebration to life was 2014, with the silver "Three Guardians" bead by designer Søren Nielsen.
2015: the faceted glass bead "Trollbeads  Day Bead 2015", by designer Lise Aagaard.
2016: the 40th anniversary of the company founded in 1976, the gold bead "Clover Bead" followed by the "Lucky Friends Bracelet" in silver, with lock and bead depicting a set of four-leaf clovers, by designer Søren Nielsen.
2017: the faceted stone "Golden Rutilated Quartz", by designer Lise Aagaard.
2018: two amber beads overlaid with small silver bees, "Wings of Amber Single" and "Wings of Amber with Two Beads", by designer Lise Aagaard.
2019: the set of painted porcelain beads "Chinese Porcelain", by designers Kim Buck and Zhang Qiao.
2020: the set of inlaid glass beads "Trollbeads Day 2020 Kit", by designer Neetu Gupta.

All the beads of each edition are engraved with the year of release and have been produced in a Limited Edition, real collectible jewels.


For some time now, among modular jewels, there has been a trend that sees precious stones as protagonists, alone or paired with silver.
Trollbeads is no exception and to celebrate Trollbeads Day 2021, which is held on June 19th, it has decided to focus on three beads that have this characteristic: a stone embraced by silver.

"Trollbeads Day Ocean", "Trollbeads Day Sky" and "Trollbeads Day Earth", by designer Søren Nielsen, are therefore round shaped silver beads with cabochon stones, and made in a Limited Edition with the engraving dedicated to 2021. The cost is € 65 each.
Let's go and discover them one by one.






Trollbeads Day Ocean, whose motto reads "See your life in perspective", is a bead whose Lapis Lazuli stone is embraced by silver with inlaid, engraved and embossed details that reproduce marine subjects such as a mermaid, a fish, algae and a seahorse, a predominant design element as it is placed on the bottom of the bead, with an inlay that reveals the cabochon stone, therefore smooth and rounded, with two small claws to hold it for greater safety, one of which is surmounted by a 'seaweed. The bluing of the silver gives the typical appearance of each silver bead of the brand.

Lapis lazuli, appreciated for its inclusions, in the specimens I have seen, I have noticed in minimal part, it remains however a beautiful stone of intense blue that manages to adapt well in a composition with a sea theme.





Lapis Lazuli, whose major deposits are found in Afghanistan, takes its name from the Persian "lapis lazulo" and means "blue stone". In crystal therapy it is used to promote wisdom, honesty, dignity and righteousness, making extroverts and helping in the expression of one's feelings and opinions, as well as mastering conflicts.

 

Trollbeads Day Sky, whose motto says "Touch the sky", is a bead to which the Chalcedony stone has been associated and the silver that contains it has engravings and an inlay. The inlay is located on the bottom of the bead, from which you can easily see the back of the stone, very bright even against the light, and depicts the sun with its rays engraved. What I call the front part of the bead, sees the shape of an airplane engraved, while the upper part that holds the stone has the contours shaped like clouds followed by some incisions to emphasize the design. Here too there are two small jaws that blend better between the contours of the shaping.

This bead, of the three, is the only one that, having three holes, also allows it to be used in the Fantasy necklace.

Chalcedony, a milky blue color, thanks to its translucency has more or less evident pinkish amber shades; the specimens I photographed reflect the characteristics of the stone.





The Chalcedony, which besides Turkey includes deposits in other countries including Italy, precisely in Volterra in Tuscany, takes its name from "Chalcedon" a port of Bithynia, an ancient Roman kingdom in the territory of today's Turkey. In crystal therapy it is used to generate awareness, increasing self-confidence and optimism towards life, as well as strengthening memory, dialectical ability, allowing you to more easily deal with stressful situations.






Trollbeads Day Earth, whose motto is "Live gently upon this earth", is a bead whose Aventurine stone is included in the inlaid, engraved and embossed silver. The front features a tree whose crown is in relief and the roots, trunk and branches engraved. A small bird in relief is placed on a branch. The back also features a tree and next to it an engraved butterfly. The inlay on the bottom of the bead depicts a deer, from which the back of the stone can be seen. Two small claws are camouflaged between the crowns of the two trees and the jagged contours that contain the aventurine.





The Aventurine, green in color, has small inclusions that reflect the lyx and damage purple to the phenomenon of adventure; the specimens that I have seen are of an intense green color and with flashes of inclusions, some more evident and luminous than others.




The Aventurine, whose main deposit is in India, has its name which derives from the Italian "a ventura", referring to the micaceous flakes distributed "at random" on the surface; in crystal therapy it is used to promote individuality and the ability to make decisions, it makes you patient and counteracts nervousness by stimulating tolerance and availability towards others, as well as stimulating enthusiasm and inventiveness.








Trollbeads Day 2021 is held on June 19th at all Trollbeads stores and authorized resellers.
This year's gadget, linked to the purchase of one of the three exclusive beads, is a glasses holder in ecological leather, on which stands the hot-stamped Trollbeads logo, in three pastel colors: green, purple and blue.

I think all three beads are very beautiful, so it is difficult to choose.
However, I have a favorite, it is "Trollbeads Day Sky"; in addition to attracting me so much the Chalcedony, I like the simplicity of the silver that embraces it and the sun from which you can see the back of the stone, not to mention the fact that I can also use it in the necklace.
