Cascata di Diamanti Trollbeads, recensione - Trollbeads Shades of Sparkle collection, review
Trollbeads continua a stupirci con una release dopo l'altra e il 6 agosto è la volta della collezione Cascata di Diamanti, forse in realtà la più attesa.
Si tratta di sei beads in vetro dalle sfumature pastello contenenti ognuno tredici zirconi cubici, della designer Lise Aagaard.
Che i diamanti siano i migliori amici delle ragazze è risaputo, e questi sono decisamente più abbordabili dei veri diamanti, si potrebbe dunque anche compiere la "pazzia" acquistando l'intero set.
Ma andiamo a scoprirli uno per uno, prima di decidere se ne vale davvero la pena.
Diamante della Gioia presenta base in colore rosa cipria e vetro di copertura in sfumatura color arancio chiaro, al suo interno tredici zirconi cubici di differenti dimensioni enfatizzano i riflessi del bead.
Da notare che, essendo realizzati a mano, possono avere delle differenze uno dall'altro sia come dimensioni che come colore.
Va ricordato che, a seconda della luce da cui il vetro viene irradiato, sia essa artificiale fredda o calda, o naturale, cambia aspetto.
Diamante dell'Emozione presenta base in colore azzurro e vetro di copertura in sfumatura color verde chiaro, al suo interno sempre tredici zirconi di differente misura.
Anche qui, è facile notare differenze tra un bead e l'altro; tali dissomiglianze sono da considerarsi un pregio, e non un difetto, del fatto a mano.

Diamante Arcobaleno presenta base in colore bianco e vetro di copertura in sfumatura di cinque colori: rosso, arancione, giallo, azzurro e viola. Al suo interno tredici zirconi cubici di differente misura.
Diamante del Sogno presenta base in colore celeste e vetro di copertura in sfumatura color azzurro cielo, al suo interno sempre tredici zirconi cubici di differente misura.
Diamante del Romanticismo presenta base in colore rosa e vetro di copertura in sfumatura color rosa scuro, al suo interno sempre tredici zirconi di differente misura.
Anche qui, è facile notare differenze tra un bead e l'altro, tali diversità sono da considerarsi un pregio, e non un difetto, del fatto a mano.
Visti tutti insieme sono senza dubbio molto attrattivi, un bracciale di soli diamanti diventa prezioso e scintillante ma anche presi singolarmente possono donare luminosità a qualsiasi composizione.

Da circa quattro anni a questa parte, e precisamente a Ottobre 2017, è iniziata una produzione di beads Diamante dedicata a vari Paesi del mondo, che parrebbe terminata quest'anno con la release del Diamante Australiano.
Questi beads sono però reperibili solamente nei paesi di origine e perciò, per molti collezionisti, si è avviata una vera e propria caccia per poterli avere tutti, coadiuvati talvolta dall'aiuto di collezionisti locali.

Nell'insieme reputo siano tutti colori facilmente abbinabili e di facile collocazione anche in composizioni a tema stagionale; possono sembrare estivi o primaverili ma ritengo essere adeguati anche in un tema autunnale o invernale.
Le dimensioni sono prevalentemente "big", ma si possono trovare anche beads un poco più piccoli che, in questo caso, andrebbero ad accompagnarsi meglio con le ultime release di vetri che hanno visto appunto una riduzione nelle dimensioni.
Proviamo ora ad andare a scoprire cosa sono nella realtà i diamanti, che tanto decantava anche Marilyn Monroe nel famoso film "Gli uomini preferiscono le bionde".

Resta comunque la pietra preziosa a possedere un valore che, in determinata purezza taglio e caratura, non proprio tutti possono permettersi.
Il diamante puro è incolore e ha un elevato potere di rifrazione della luce, oltre ad essere la pietra più dura che esista.
Se nel diamante ci sono tracce di altri elementi, ecco che cambia colorazione: giallo e verde se è presente azoto, rosa se è presente il manganese, blu se contiene alluminio, ossigeno, magnesio, ferro e boro.
Per questo esiste una scala a cui fare riferimento se si ha intenzione di acquistare un diamante, la scala della GIA (Gemmological Institute of America) che classifica tutti i diamanti, dove in testa vede i diamanti nominati D-E-F-G, più notoriamente da investimento, che sono perfettamente incolore dopo un esame alla lente di non meno di dieci ingrandimenti. Via via, appena vi sono delle inclusioni o delle differenze di colore, anche invisibili a occhio nudo, il diamante scende nella scala sino ad arrivare alla lettera Z, con conseguente minor valore.

Per questo le Nazioni Unite hanno attuato un programma, chiamato "Kimberly Process", che attraverso un sistema di regolamentazione governativo, adottato da più di quaranta paesi, vuole sradicare i "diamanti del conflitto" esportando le pietre esclusivamente verso i paesi aderenti, con ulteriore controllo anche da parte del World Diamond Council che richiede conferma, da parte del venditore, di certificazioni che attestino la provenienza da canali accreditati.

Abbiamo parlato di diamanti ma a dire il vero questi beads contengono degli zirconi cubici. Cosa sono?
In oreficeria viene solitamente chiamato "zircone" quello che in realtà è spesso una "zirconia cubica", come in questo caso. È un minerale dello zirconio (ossido di zirconio) ma realizzato chimicamente in laboratorio, quindi non proveniente dalla natura. Il suo valore è perciò inferiore rispetto il vero zircone ed anche il suo aspetto è diverso: un grosso cristallo incolore, somigliante appunto al diamante. Al contrario lo zircone in natura può avere riflessature e colorazioni che vanno dal giallo all'arancio, al rosso ed al bruno.
La lucentezza che emanano i beads comunque è notevole e questa versione bicolore debbo dire che è molto azzeccata, le cui sfumature enfatizzano l'insieme.

Shade of Sparkle Peach has a powder pink base and a light orange shade cover glass, inside thirteen cubic zircons of different sizes emphasize the reflections of the bead.

We talked about diamonds but in reality these beads contain cubic zircons. What are?
In goldsmithing, what is actually often a "cubic zirconia" is usually called "zirconia", as in this case. In goldsmithing, what is actually often a "cubic zirconia" is usually called "zirconia", as in this case. It is a mineral of zirconium (zirconium oxide) but chemically made in the laboratory, therefore not coming from nature. Its value is therefore lower than the real zircon and its appearance is also different: a large colorless crystal, resembling a diamond. On the contrary, zircon in nature can have reflections and colors ranging from yellow, to orange, to red and brown.
