Trollbeads Albero della Forza, bead per la Festa del Papà - Trollbeads Tree of Life, Father's Day bead

 La Festa del Papà si avvicina, in Italia si festeggia il 19 marzo, e Trollbeads per l’occasione questa volta ha pensato a un bead in argento molto evocativo, Albero della Forza, della designer Tamara Levkovets.

Il bead, il cui motto recita “Le mie radici e il mio futuro”, porta con sé un simbolo potente di forza e coraggio e vita, tutto ciò che i padri rappresentano agli occhi dei figli.

Raffigurante in modo astratto, nel tipico stile della designer, un albero con le sue fronde protese verso l’alto e le radici verso il basso, si sviluppa in maniera speculare e in forma tondeggiante, così da mostrarsi nella sua interezza sempre, in qualunque modo si giri. Foglie lanceolate, tronco possente, radici attorcigliate, il tutto finemente intarsiato e con la caratteristica brunitura che enfatizza i dettagli.

Gli argenti con questa forma sono facili da collocare e data la dimensione, stanno bene anche da soli su di un bangle o nel bracciale di cuoio.

I due fori passanti del bead sono sufficientemente larghi per farci passare anche un bracciale più spesso rispetto il classico Trollbeads, come ad esempio il bracciale di Ilko Beads.

Unico neo riscontrato, tende a rimanere capovolto, poiché la chioma dell’albero ha un volume maggiore rispetto l’apparato radicale. Probabilmente con i fori passanti leggermente più piccoli, almeno nel bracciale in cuoio il bead sarebbe potuto rimanere fermo in posizione, senza capovolgersi.

Per ovviare, basterà posizionare due stop ai lati del bead.

Ciò che evoca questo bead va oltre la forza di un padre, abbraccia il passato e riporta alla mitologia norrena, dove viene facile così accostarlo all’albero per eccellenza, l’albero cosmico Yggdrasil, il grande frassino dalla chioma rigogliosa che svetta al centro dell’Universo. Nato dai capelli del gigante Ymir ucciso dagli dèi, le sue possenti radici, su cui si avviluppano due serpenti, affondano sino alle fonti di creazione, sapienza e conoscenza nella terra di Midgard, ossia la Terra di Mezzo, terra di uomini e troll e dove Odino, il capostipite dei norreni, vi si appese, ad uno dei rami, per nove giorni e nove notti, allo scopo di impossessarsi del significato e dei poteri delle rune.

Una leggenda intricata molto affascinante, in cui Yggdrasil invita ad avere basi solide e ben radicate per poi crescere e svettare verso traguardi inimmaginabili, un po’ come essere curiosi rispetto ciò che non si conosce, uno sguardo al futuro vivendo però appieno il presente, in armonia tra mente e corpo.

L’albero da sempre ha valore simbolico, non a caso viene utilizzato per rappresentare la genealogia di una famiglia, da cui appunto il nome “albero genealogico” e di nomi in realtà gliene sono stati attribuiti tanti altri, come ad esempio “albero della conoscenza”, “albero del paradiso”, “albero dell’universo”.

Anche in psicologia l’albero viene spesso utilizzato per analizzare personalità ed emotività dei pazienti, attraverso un semplice test in cui viene richiesto di disegnarne uno su di un foglio. Le radici rappresentano il passato, accadimenti rimossi; il tronco rappresenta il presente, ciò che accade qui e ora; le fronde rappresentano il futuro, ciò che pulsa e preme per essere espresso e a seconda di come l’albero viene disegnato è possibile interpretare tratti caratteriali e aspirazioni.

Un albero poi sa essere generoso, ci ripara con le sue foglie, ci ristora con i suoi frutti, ci sostiene con il suo tronco, sì perché talvolta si rende necessario appoggiarsi ad un albero per sentire vibrare quella connessione che abbiamo con la natura, addirittura abbracciare un albero può aiutare a portare a galla sentimenti repressi.

Li amo, amo i boschi, e quando mi trovo in spazi aperti dove la loro assenza si mostra, mi sento spaesata, senza riparo, messa a nudo. Vi è mai capitato?

Credo tutti dovrebbero poter avere a disposizione un albero, anche soltanto poterlo osservare da una finestra può essere consolatorio e poi chi meglio di un albero indica il cambio delle stagioni e in ognuna di esse ha qualcosa da offrire? :-)

  

Albero della Forza si rivela così un bead perfetto per essere regalato, con il suo intrinseco messaggio augurale, ma altrettanto perfetto da acquistare per se stessi.

Questo bead ci riconduce agli albori del marchio, quando Trollbeads affondava le sue radici nel mondo dei troll, mondo che molti di noi hanno apprezzato e conosciuto attraverso beads come (per citarne alcuni) Il Serpente di Midgard, Il Martello di Thor, Vichingo e Troll, ora facenti parte del museo.

Albero della Forza costa €65 e sarà disponibile dal 4 marzo presso tutti i rivenditori.

Per l’occasione, Trollbeads ha realizzato una brochure in cui, oltre una breve descrizione del brand, vengono illustrati vari beads e varie composizioni di ispirazione maschile.

Prossima importante release in casa Trollbeads la collezione Armadilli, la cui uscita è prevista per il 25 marzo, dove ci attenderanno un set di beads in vetro e un bead in argento.

Trollbeads Tree of Life, Father's Day bead

Father's Day is approaching, in Italy it is celebrated on March 19, and for the occasion Trollbeads has created a very evocative silver bead, Tree of Life, by designer Tamara Levkovets.

The bead, whose motto reads “Wisest of all. Strongest of all.”, carries with it a powerful symbol of strength and courage and life, all that fathers represent in the eyes of their children.

Representing in an abstract way, in the typical style of the designer, a tree with its branches reaching upwards and its roots downwards, it develops in a specular way and in a rounded shape, so as to always show itself in its entirety, in any way turn around. Lanceolate leaves, powerful trunk, twisted roots, all finely inlaid and with the characteristic browning that emphasizes the details.

Silvers with this shape are easy to place and given their size, they also look good on their own on a bangle or leather bracelet.

The two through holes of the bead are wide enough to pass through even a thicker bracelet than the classic Trollbeads, such as the Ilko Beads bracelet.

The only drawback found, it tends to remain upside down, since the crown of the tree has a greater volume than the root system. Probably with the slightly smaller through holes, at least in the leather bracelet the bead could have stayed in place, without tipping over.

To avoid this, just place two stops on the sides of the bead.

What this bead evokes goes beyond the strength of a father, embraces the past and takes you back to Norse mythology, where it is so easy to approach it to the tree par excellence, the cosmic tree Yggdrasil, the large ash tree with luxuriant foliage that stands out in the center of the Universe. Born from the hair of the giant Ymir killed by the gods, its mighty roots, on which two snakes are entangled, sink to the sources of creation, wisdom and knowledge in the land of Midgard, that is, Middle-earth, land of men and trolls and where Odin, the progenitor of the Norse, hung on it, from one of the branches, for nine days and nine nights, in order to take possession of the meaning and powers of the runes.

A very fascinating intricate legend, in which Yggdrasil invites you to have solid and well-rooted foundations and then grow and soar towards unimaginable goals, a bit like being curious about what you do not know, a look at the future while fully living the present, in harmony between mind and body.

The tree has always had a symbolic value, it is no coincidence that it is used to represent the genealogy of a family, hence the name “Genealogical tree" and actually many other names have been attributed to it, such as “Tree of knowledge","Tree of paradise","Tree of the universe". Even in psychology, the tree is often used to analyze patients' personalities and emotions, through a simple test in which one is asked to draw one on a sheet of paper. The roots represent the past, repressed events; the trunk represents the present, what happens here and now; the branches represent the future, what pulsates and presses to be expressed and depending on how the tree is drawn, it is possible to interpret character traits and aspirations.

A tree then knows how to be generous, shelters us with its leaves, restores us with its fruits, supports us with its trunk, yes because sometimes it is necessary to lean on a tree to feel the connection we have with nature vibrate, even hugging a tree can help bring repressed feelings to the surface.

I love them, I love the woods, and when I find myself in open spaces where their absence shows itself, I feel disoriented, without shelter, laid bare. Has this ever happened to you?

I think everyone should be able to have a tree available, even just being able to observe it from a window can be comforting and then who better than a tree indicates the change of seasons and in each of them has something to offer? :-)

Tree of Life thus turns out to be a perfect bead to be given, with its intrinsic message of good wishes, but just as perfect to buy for yourself.

This bead takes us back to the dawn of the brand, when Trollbeads had its roots in the world of trolls, a world that many of us have appreciated and known through beads such as (to name a few) The Midgard Serpent, Thor's Hammer, Viking Bead and Troll, now forming part of the museum.

Tree of Life costs €65 and will be available from March 4th at all retailers.
