Trollbeads Giardino dei Sensi, collezione autunno 2022 - Trollbeads Meadow Moments, Fall 2022 collection
Quest’anno l’estate in Italia in generale ha portato molto caldo e afa, costringendo tanti di noi a desiderare l’autunno.
Siamo agli sgoccioli, ormai manca poco, eppure l’estate sta dando ancora un colpo di coda, quasi non volesse abbandonarci. Basta però guardare alla natura per accorgersi che la mutazione è in corso…le foglie degli alberi appaiono meno vigorose ed iniziano a sbiadire, lasciando posto, ai bordi, ad un colore giallo bruno, il sole tramonta prima e già ad ora di cena è quasi buio. Se poi capita un poco di pioggia, ecco che il cielo si incupisce e si avverte quella sensazione di melanconia tipica dell’autunno, i nostri sensi sono quindi allertati e anch’essi in mutamento, seguendo l’andar delle stagioni.
Giardino dei Sensi è il nome infatti dato da Trollbeads alla collezione autunnale, una collezione ricca di elementi e significati che donano positività e speranza, come ad ogni nuovo inizio si anela.
Il designer Søren Nielsen firma la collezione di argenti e argenti con pietre e perle e direi anche questa volta la natura lo abbia ispirato, donando una allure intrisa di magia e perfino un poco godereccia.
I set in vetro di due differenti designer, hanno colori a contrasto, mettendo in risalto disegni e motivi di ogni singolo bead.
Fanno capolino nella collezione anche un paio di orecchini, che non vedevamo da un po’ di tempo ma la vera novità è data dalle pietre rotonde di grandi dimensioni.
Infine la Edizione Limitata riferita ad Halloween, un argento particolare che può piacere tanto o affatto, senza mezze misure.
Ma andiamo ora a scoprire la collezione Giardino dei Sensi nel dettaglio.
Allegria è un bead in argento che raffigura un tralcio di vite ove tra un grappolo d’uva e una foglia, fa capolino il volto di Bacco. Il bead da un lato mostra la rondella su cui si avviluppano i vari elementi, rendendolo piatto, adatto quindi ad essere affiancato ad un vetro o ad una pietra.
Ben realizzato, con dettagli minuziosi come quelli del viso, è il primo di una serie, all’interno della collezione, dedicata alla vendemmia.

Motto: “Ti auguro una vita ricca di allegria e affetto”.
Cinque Sensi è un bead in argento, dove su due rondelle contrapposte si posano elementi incisi ed a rilievo che ricordano il fogliame, insieme a piccole borchie sparse.
Di piccole dimensioni, può risultare decorativo.

Motto: “Ricordati di esplorare tutti i sensi”.
Terra Promessa è un bead in argento, dove una foglia sembra avvilupparsi su se stessa, adornata da boccioli e una piccola corolla. Ricorda il precedente Cinque Sensi.
Una interpretazione particolare, di medie dimensioni, che può dare risalto a composizioni semplici.

Motto: “Per godere dei frutti della terra ricordati di fare la tua parte”.
Bacco è un bead in argento che rappresenta la testa dell’omonimo dio del vino e dei misteri. Il capo avvolto da foglie ed acini d’uva, espressione sorridente, alla base del collo altrettanti acini a formare quasi una collana.
Il bead di medie dimensioni, rende al massimo sulla collana ma potrà essere indossato anche nel bracciale. Realizzato ad opera d’arte, una vera e propria miniatura ricca di dettagli, uno dei pezzi forti della collezione.

Motto: “Che l’allegria e la vitalità siano sempre con te”.
Stop Allegria è uno stop appunto che serve principalmente per fermare i beads inseriti in un bangle, ma anche per creare giochi di composizioni su collana o bracciale, essendo che i gommini posti al suo interno lo rendono fisso. Facente parte della serie dedicata alla vendemmia, riproduce grappoli d’uva e loro fogliame.
Molto carino, trovo ben si adatti a qualsiasi utilizzo, arricchendo la composizione rispetto ai classici stop in argento lisci.

Perla di Luce è un bead in argento con tre piccole perle bianche, sostenute e attorniate da piccoli boccioli.
Per dare un tocco di luce e raffinatezza nelle varie composizioni, trovo sia molto adatto, peccato solamente per il prezzo che trovo eccessivo e sproporzionato se paragonato a Perle in Fiore (che ha lo stesso prezzo), considerando appunto le sue ridotte dimensioni.

Motto: “Per illuminare il tuo ieri, oggi e domani”.
Mago della Trasformazione è un bead in argento raffigurante il volto di un troll sulla cui testa è incastonata e trattenuta da due griffe, una labradorite sfaccettata. Appena sotto la bocca, c’è una applicazione con tanti puntini incisi che non sono riuscita ad identificare cosa rappresenti.
Questo bead ricorda gli albori del brand danese, dove troll, maghi e folletti erano una costante. Interessante la forma tondeggiante che rimane una delle mie predilette.

Motto: “Con la magia della labradorite troverai la forza per trasformarti in qualsiasi cosa desideri”.
Dono dell’Amicizia è un bead in argento di forma tonda ove si trova incassata una Pietra di Cannella sfaccettata, trattenuta da due griffe. Completano il bead una serie di boccioli intorno alla pietra e sul fondo.
Sempre interessante la forma, questo bead va ad affiancarsi ai “Doni” delle precedenti collezioni, in una variante un poco più romantica. Lo trovo molto adatto montato sull’anello.

Motto: “Abbraccia la pietra di cannella, la pietra che protegge l’amicizia”.
Gufo della Volontà è un bead in argento le cui fattezze di gufo trattengono anteriormente una pietra liscia e tonda, un Occhio di Tigre. Ali e zampe fungono da griffe. Gli occhi sono incisi, così come il piumaggio, la forma è a triangolo e la base del bead risulta liscia.
Questo è il bead che prediligo di tutta la collezione, poiché sono sempre stata attratta da gufi e civette e dal loro alone di mistero e conoscenza di creature notturne. Trovo sia ben realizzato e la pietra conferisce al bead il tocco in più.

Motto: “Per rafforzare la volontà e superare la paura di ciò che non conosci”.
Orecchini Allegria in argento, formati da due anelle in semicerchio sormontate da due foglie di vite ed alcuni acini d’uva.
Le anelle, come tipologia di orecchino, già da un po’ sono tornate in gran voga, queste di Trollbeads vogliono essere una variante sul tema e in linea con la serie dedicata alla vendemmia. Di medie dimensioni, sono graziosi ma ritengo il prezzo eccessivo.

Motto: “Ti auguro una vita ricca di allegria e affetto”.
Pendente Foglie d’Autunno in argento e vetro, si compone di una sfera di vetro, con disegno di foglie concentriche dal colore arancione, leggere pennellate in verde petrolio e profilate di bianco, e da un gancio/moschettone in argento ricoperto da piccoli boccioli. Il bead è adatto per la Collana Fantasia ma può essere indossato anche nel bracciale.
La sfera è di grande effetto, sia per il disegno, sia per i colori, allude chiaramente all’autunno che ben rappresenta nelle sue tonalità calde.

Motto: “Goditi la magia e i colori caldi dell’autunno”.
Pendente Fiore d’Autunno in argento, consiste in un gancio/moschettone alla cui base è riprodotto un fiore a cinque petali. Sul bordo di ogni petalo è presente una piccola borchia quasi fosse una goccia di rugiada; le medesime si trovano anche a decoro sul moschettone.
Una versione del Pendente tutta in argento per chi predilige questo materiale al posto del vetro o semplicemente per rendere il finale della collana neutro.

Motto: “Ricordati di fiorire anche quando la vita ti dà poco”.
Gatto Astratto è un bead in argento di forma tondeggiante riproducente nel fronte il muso di un gatto, nel retro motivi che ricordano l’arte celtica.
Il largo sorriso mefistofelico, con denti aguzzi bene in evidenza, ricorda il Gatto del Chesire, noto anche come lo Stregatto, presente nelle “Avventure di Alice nel Paese delle Meraviglie” di Lewis Carroll.
Pensato per Halloween, trovo sia perfetto e ottimamente realizzato.

Motto: “L’augurio che qualcosa di magico e misterioso sta per succedere”.
Chiusura Cinque Sensi in argento, vede i due moschettoni contrapposti, di facile apertura, sormontati da un motivo a volute che avviluppa entrambi i lati. Da una parte liscio e dall’altra con piccole borchie in sequenza.
Robusta e abbastanza pratica, trovo sia un poco ingombrante.

Motto: “Ricordati di esplorare tutti i sensi”.
Chiusura Allegria in argento, vede la classica chiusura liscia e semplice sormontata da un grappolo d’uva che la abbraccia, con foglie decorate e nervature incise.
Anch’essa robusta e pratica, è la perfetta chiusura per un bracciale a tema vendemmia.
Delle quattro è quella che preferisco, poiché il tema risulta essere nuovo per Trollbeads e lo ritengo ben rappresentato.

Chiusura della Volontà in argento, è la classica chiusura semplice, dai due moschettoni contrapposti, arricchita dalla pietra tonda e liscia Occhio di Tigre da un lato, dall’altro da alcuni boccioli a rilievo.
Pratica e semplice, adatta a composizioni minimali e sobrie. La pietra essendo trattenuta da due griffe, non corre il rischio di essere persa, rendendo così la chiusura ancora più sicura da indossare anche quotidianamente.

Motto: “L’Occhio di Tigre rafforzerà la tua volontà ed il tuo spirito di iniziativa”.
Chiusura della Consapevolezza in argento, è la classica chiusura semplice con i due moschettoni contrapposti, arricchita, da ambo i lati, da due differenti pietre sfaccettate: la Pietra di Cannella e la Ametista, corredate da alcuni boccioli in rilievo. Anche qui le pietre sono trattenute da due griffe.
Pratica e semplice, da qualunque lato essa si giri mostra una pietra, che essendo di natura differente e di differente colore, potrà dare vita a una composizione bicolore sia come vetri che come pietre da abbinarvi.

Motto: “Ametista e Pietra di Cannella per aumentare la nostra consapevolezza”.
Set Magia d’Autunno si compone di sei beads in vetro: due a tema floreale, due con farfalle e due ispirati ad elementi della natura.
L’insieme dei colori utilizzati sono principalmente tonalità fredde, l’unico bead di spicco per colore in tonalità calda è Alba che, a colpo d’occhio, nonostante sia molto bello, sembra stridere con il resto del set.

Motto: “Lascia andare le tue foglie: questo è il modo migliore per rinascere”.
Scopriamoli uno ad uno.
Ciclamino è un bead in vetro a sfondo nero dove all’interno si trovano tre fiori a sei petali lanceolati, con la famigerata piccola bolla al centro. Il colore dei petali è rosa variegato in bianco, con leggere sfumature in contrasto a conferire profondità e tridimensionalità.
Un fiore questo che ricalca i precedenti Fiore dell’Equilibrio e Fiore della Passione, una variante colore quindi. Di tutti i fiori rappresentati da Trollbeads nel tempo, questa forma è quella che preferisco.

Motto: “Non temere le difficoltà, ti renderanno ancora più forte”.
Viole del Pensiero è un bead in vetro con base verde smeraldo, vetro di copertura trasparente e fiori a tre petali in colore blu e lilla, all’interno di ogni fiore sempre presente la piccola bolla.
La viola del pensiero è un fiore dall’aspetto molto differente, a voler sottilizzare sulla assegnazione dei nomi, rimane comunque un bead ben realizzato per disegno e cromia.

Motto: “Per essere sempre connessi: quando mi penserai anche io ti starò pensando”.
Armonia in Volo è un bead in vetro dalla base verde acquamarina lattiginosa e vetro di copertura trasparente. A decoro tre farfalle ad ali spiegate, di forma tondeggiante, in color malva e bianco variegato lilla, in rilievo.
Le farfalle sono ormai una costante per Trollbeads, che le riproduce in varie forme e colori. Questa risulta molto semplice, ma gradevole il colore.

Motto: “Guarda la vita sempre da una nuova prospettiva”.
Battito di Ali è un bead in vetro viola trasparente, con tre farfalle riprodotte di lato, le cui ali sono variegate in colore azzurro, verde acqua, verde chiaro, malva e bianco, con pois in colore nero.
Del set è il bead che prediligo, il colore quasi cangiante mi affascina e la forma delle farfalle lo riempie rendendolo ricco ed allo stesso tempo delicato.

Motto: “Ci ricorda che ogni singola azione, anche un battito d’ali, può cambiare il nostro futuro”.
Alba è un bead in vetro a base variegata ambra, beige e bianco, con vetro di copertura trasparente, sormontato da tre file di boccioli in rilievo in colore verde acqua trasparente. Nei boccioli della fila centrale, è presente all’interno di ognuno una piccola bolla.
Questo è quello che io definisco un bead tattile, poiché le bolle in rilievo lo rendono differente dai classici bead in vetro lisci, conferendogli una certa piacevolezza anche alla vista. Sul fatto che riproduca una alba, ho qualche perplessità, nonostante ciò è il secondo bead che preferisco del set.

Motto: “Quando mi sveglio al mattino sei il mio primo pensiero”.
Vento d’Autunno è un bead in vetro a base variegata in verde salvia, acquamarina, beige arricchito da micro sfere in argento, con motivi concentrici volti a ricreare il vortice del vento, ove in corrispondenza di ogni vortice si trova una piccola bolla.
Un vetro la cui lavorazione produce un notevole effetto ottico di profondità e rilievi, dai colori scuri ma direi facili da abbinare.
Costo: €45.
Motto: “Sei la novità che non mi aspettavo”.
Set Giardino d’Autunno, si compone di sei beads in vetro sfaccettati: quattro a tema floreale e due astratti.
I colori utilizzati spaziano da tonalità fredde a tonalità più calde, senza essere prettamente autunnali. Il bead che anche in questo set spicca per tonalità molto differente dalle altre è Fiori di Campo, l’unico con base nera.

Motto: “Dove puoi trovare la serenità che cerchi”.
Bellezza in Blu è un bead in vetro sfaccettato con base lattiginosa acquamarina chiarissima, motivi lanceolati variegati in bianco e malva chiaro, vetro di copertura trasparente. I tre fiori riprodotti sono a tre petali in colore blu ottanio; all’interno di ogni fiore presente la piccola bolla, che si ripete anche tra un fiore e l’altro.
Un bead dalla nuance delicata reso interessante dai fiori in colore a contrasto.

Motto: “La vera bellezza viene da dentro”.
Fiori dal Cuore è un bead in vetro sfaccettato con base rosa su cui si posano motivi a foglia in colore azzurro e ocra. Grandi fiori in giallo ocra si alternano, ove al centro di ognuno è presente un tocco in color arancione e piccola bolla. I fiori riprodotti sono a tre e cinque petali.
Dal colore vivace, questo bead in tono su tono può amalgamarsi o essere protagonista.

Motto: “Un ringraziamento che viene dal cuore”.
Fantasia di Fiori è un bead in vetro sfaccettato trasparente, dove all’interno si trovano riprodotte foglie variegate in colore azzurro e verde chiaro e fiori a tre petali in colore beige sfumato. Al centro di ogni fiore è presente la piccola bolla.
Una variante colore sui toni del cielo e della terra, che trovo ben si amalgami con Bellezza in Blu. La sfaccettatura rende il design vibrante.

Motto: “Lascia fiorire la tua natura”.
Fiori di Campo è un bead in vetro sfaccettato con base nera e grandi fiori in malva e lilla, dove al centro di ognuno è presente un tocco in color arancione e piccola bolla. I fiori riprodotti sono a tre petali attorniati da piccole foglie variegate in blu e verde chiaro.
Un bead dai colori molto sensuali che però, a mio parere, non trova corrispondenza all’interno della collezione.

Motto: “Nulla finisce mai per sempre”.
Fonte di Vita è un bead in vetro sfaccettato, celeste trasparente, a base variegata in azzurro, verde oliva, verde bosco e beige con motivi diagonali.
La sfaccettatura enfatizza il motivo variegato del bead che sembra quasi essere in movimento. Delicato e raffinato.
Costo: €55.
Motto: “Cura per primo te stesso per poter amare davvero gli altri”.
Tramonto è un bead in vetro sfaccettato, giallo senape trasparente, a base variegata in beige, verde oliva e senape.
Una variante colore del precedente, colore che però non associo a quello del tramonto poiché ha tonalità più aranciate ed accese. Un bead neutro che non sarà comunque difficile abbinare.

Motto: “Dopo ogni fine c’è sempre un nuovo inizio”.
Ed ora passiamo alla novità di questa collezione, le pietre rotonde grandi: Occhio di Tigre, Occhio di Tigre Rosso, Occhio di Gatto ed Occhio di Gatto Nero.
La loro dimensione è di circa 10 mm., mentre le piccole delle precedenti collezioni sono di circa 7 mm. .

Occhio di Tigre Rotondo Grande appartenente alla famiglia dei quarzi, si presenta in color oro/ambra con striature scure, marroni, responsabili dell’effetto ottico cangiante, anche denominato “gatteggiamento”, poiché l’impressione è quella di osservare la pupilla di un felino.
Mia nonna Iolanda indossava spesso un paio di orecchini in oro con incastonata questa pietra ed io, da bambina, li osservavo e mi intimorivano, poiché davvero ci vedevo una pupilla e l’idea che mi osservassero era per me fonte di paura. Crescendo poi ho iniziato ad amarli quegli orecchini e trovavo donassero una luce particolare al volto di mia nonna.
Oggi è una delle mie pietre preferite, grazie anche alle sue proprietà quali chiarezza mentale, forza e volontà. Si dice che tenerne una piccola dentro al portafogli, aiuti a non rimanere mai senza denaro…questo non l’ho mai messo in pratica ma, come si suol dire, tentar non nuoce!

Occhio di Tigre Rosso Rotondo Grande come la precedente pietra ha come effetto il gatteggiamento, con colore rosso bruno e bordeaux.
Una pietra dai toni caldi ed intensi che ben si accompagna con bead in vetro più chiari, per creare movimento e contrasto.
Tra le sue proprietà si annovera azione stimolante, accelerando il metabolismo ed aumentando il desiderio sessuale se basso.

Motto: “Una pietra per ottenere con determinazione quello che desideri”.
Occhio di Gatto Rotondo Grande in versione gialla, appartenente alla famiglia dei quarzi, ha in comune con le due precedenti “occhio di tigre”, il fenomeno del gatteggiamento, riflessi cangianti di luce che variano a seconda del taglio.
Il colore, che vira dal giallo senape ad un giallo paglierino con sfumature brune, è di tonalità calda che ben si amalgama con il tema autunnale, richiamando il colore di alcune foglie. Come proprietà annovera radicamento, promozione della creatività e introspezione.

Motto: “Per favorire una più profonda comprensione della propria interiorità”.
Occhio di Gatto Nero Rotondo Grande presenta in modo meno evidente (sempre a seconda del taglio della pietra) il gatteggiamento che risulta essere grigio scuro. Tra le sue proprietà chiarezza di vedute, protegge vista e sistema nervoso, riducendo lo stress.
Una pietra nera è un po’ un passe-partout, adatta sia per composizioni monocrome che per composizioni con colori a contrasto, quindi più chiari. Il nero come colore rimane tra i miei preferiti e affiancato da bead in argento, credo trovi la perfetta combinazione.

Motto: “Per accrescere l'intuizione e aumentare la consapevolezza”.
Trollbeads è solita assegnare non soltanto un nome ad ogni sua creazione, ma anche un motto, un significato intrinseco che va ad accorparsi con il gioiello.
Questo rende il tutto molto poetico e poiché stiamo parlando di gioielli componibili, altamente emozionali perché raccontano delle storie, le nostre storie, la poesia fa parte della magia.
Eppure, se debbo essere sincera fino in fondo, non guardo al significato donato da Trollbeads ma scelgo attraverso il mio gusto personale, o in base ad un abbinamento che debbo realizzare. E, a dirla tutta, spesso cambio il motto del bead per donargliene uno nuovo, tutto mio.
Il significato però può giungere in aiuto se il bead deve essere donato a qualcuno, magari si è indecisi, magari non si è certi di cosa possa piacere alla persona a cui lo si vuole regalare e così il motto può divenire un modo per sancire un nostro pensiero.
E voi come scegliete i beads? Vi lasciate ammaliare dai motti o scegliete in base ai vostri gusti personali?
Come avrete visto dalle fotografie che ho scattato, le composizioni sono prevalentemente di pietre e vetri, mancano composizioni con i beads in argento ed altri elementi. Come mai? Semplice: il tempo! Già, il tempo talvolta è tiranno e non permette di realizzare tutto ciò che si vorrebbe, così questa volta ho dovuto fare di necessità virtù ed è stato comunque illuminante perché mi ha permesso di fare una bella scoperta.
Da sempre prediligo i beads in argento a quelli in vetro, chi mi legge e chi mi conosce da un po’ lo sa bene.
La scoperta è stata quella di provare un particolare piacere nell’assemblare i due set di beads in vetro, liscio e sfaccettato, mixandoli anche con le pietre rotonde grandi. Il risultato finale perciò è quello di bracciali decisamente variegati, allegri e inneggianti a quella natura godereccia a cui l’autunno ci avvicina, l’uva con i suoi acini succosi, le castagne dalla morbida polpa, il melograno dal sapore così pieno, e i colori, caldi, avvolgenti, come un manto di foglie che ricopre il prato ormai pronto al letargo, e gli ultimi fiori dai toni lilla, blu, viola, giallo, che allietano la vista come l’amaranto, il fiordaliso, la rudbeckia, il crisantemo.
C’è solamente una composizione che vede un mix di argenti di collezioni precedenti, Unici, sfaccettati e pietre rotonde grandi di questa nuova collezione, la potete vedere qui sotto.
Nel complesso, la collezione presenta molti elementi novità, la dimensione delle nuove pietre rotonde, che personalmente trovo molto azzeccata, il tema “Bacco”, gli orecchini, i pendenti.
Søren Nielsen dimostra ancora una volta come i dettagli facciano la differenza, con i suoi beads in argento dal design ben bilanciato tra passato e presente. Se guardo Bacco, vedo i tratti somatici della sua famiglia, nel volto che ha modellato, e questo è un forte segno di appartenenza, poiché Trollbeads prima di tutto è famiglia.
Una collezione ricca e variegata che ritengo possa trovare consensi anche tra chi non ama particolarmente l’autunno, poiché i colori di alcuni beads in vetro, possono senz’altro essere rapportati ad altre stagioni e temi, così come alcuni bead in argento e pietre possono essere indossati senza dovere per forza rappresentare la stagione autunnale.
Quando ho visto questa collezione attraverso le immagini di anteprima, mi sono ricordata di un libro letto anni fa e di Mozart.
Mozart è uno dei miei musicisti del cuore, che ho ascoltato ininterrottamente in un certo periodo della mia vita; mi dava carica e al contempo mi rilassava, mi concedeva una tregua dalle aspettative che nutrivo verso me stessa.
Il potere della musica in generale, ha solide fondamenta, tant’è che un uomo un giorno decise di sussurrare ai suoi vigneti attraverso essa.
Carlo Cignozzi, avvocato per tradizione di famiglia, dopo quasi quaranta anni, un giorno si rende conto che fare l’avvocato non gli basta, non è più consono all’uomo che nel frattempo è divenuto, e nutrendo aspettative alte verso sé stesso e la natura che ama, decide di “abdicare” ed è proprio durante un viaggio che gli viene predetto il suo futuro tra musica e vigneti. Inizia così a dare vita a quello che in fondo è un sogno che coltiva dentro di se da tempo e, nelle terre di Montalcino in Toscana, inizia a far crescere il suo vigneto sotto l’influsso delle armonie di Mozart, convinto del potere della musica sulla vegetazione.
L’esperimento non solo riesce, ma ne ha prova avendo lui stesso cresciuto alcune piante “musicate” ed altre “mute”. Le barbatelle musicate, crescevano con maggior vigore orientando foglie, boccioli e fronde verso il diffusore di musica ed i primi grappoli maturavano prima ed erano raddoppiati a livello numerico.
Invece le barbatelle “mute”, senza musica, crescevano più lentamente.
Destò scalpore il suo esperimento e non passò nemmeno inosservato al magnate del suono Amar Bose, con cui finirà per avere una collaborazione che darà origine alla biosonorità, avanguardia del biologico.
Ma perché proprio Mozart? Nelle sue opere si ritrovano le sequenze di Fibonacci, ossia il linguaggio matematico della natura, quindi non poteva essere altrimenti per Carlo Cignozzi, ed anche questa intuizione gli diede ragione poiché, a seguito di un attacco fungino al vigneto, dopo avere messo il Requiem, in pochi giorni l’attacco cessò e la vite guarì, prima ancora di trattarla diversamente.
Un racconto autobiografico che, in qualche modo, vuole essere uno sprone per chi ha un sogno, una intuizione, un invito a non mollare, nemmeno quando le cose si fanno difficili.
Ha impiegato anni a realizzarlo, ma ora il suo sogno è ben radicato, come il vigneto che ha curato con tanta passione e dedizione.

Trollbeads Meadow Moments, Fall 2022 collection
This year the summer in Italy in general has brought very hot and muggy weather, forcing many of us to wish for autumn.
We are running out, now there is little time left, yet the summer is still giving a blow to the tail, as if it did not want to abandon us. However, it is enough to look at nature to realize that the mutation is in progress ... the leaves of the trees appear less vigorous and begin to fade, giving way, at the edges, to a brown yellow color, the sun sets earlier and already at dinner time it is almost dark. Then if a little rain happens, the sky darkens and you feel that feeling of melancholy typical of autumn, our senses are therefore alerted and also changing, following the changing seasons.
Meadow Moments is in fact the name given by Trollbeads to the autumn collection, a collection rich in elements and meanings that give positivity and hope, as in every new beginning one yearns.
The designer Søren Nielsen signs the silver collection with stones and pearls and I would say once again nature has inspired him, giving an allure imbued with magic and even a little pleasure.
The glass sets by two different designers have contrasting colors, highlighting the designs and motifs of each individual bead.
A pair of earrings also pop up in the collection, which we haven't seen for some time but the real novelty is the large round stones.
Finally, the Limited Edition referring to Halloween, a particular silver that can be liked a lot or not at all, without half measures.
But let's go now to discover the Meadow Moments collection in detail.
Wine Divine Bead is a silver bead that depicts a vine branch where the face of Bacchus peeps out between a bunch of grapes and a leaf. The bead on one side shows the washer on which the various elements are enveloped, making it flat, therefore suitable to be placed next to a glass or a stone.
Well done, with meticulous details such as those of the face, it is the first of a series, within the collection, dedicated to the grape harvest.

Motto: “Wine is sunlight, held together by water. - Galileo”.
Vineyard Bead is a silver bead, where engraved and relief elements reminiscent of foliage are placed on two opposing washers, together with small scattered studs.
Small in size, it can be decorative but I don't find it particularly interesting.

Motto: “Where dreams and passion live side by side”.
Flower Land Bead is a silver bead, where a leaf seems to envelop itself, adorned with buds and a small corolla. Remember the previous Vineyard Bead.
A particular interpretation, of medium size, which can emphasize simple compositions.

Cost: € 55.
Motto: “Let delicate scents infuse your mind”.
Wine Goddess Bead is a silver bead that represents the head of the goddess of wine. The head wrapped in leaves and grapes, a smiling expression, at the base of the neck as many berries to form almost a necklace.
The medium-sized bead works best on the necklace but can also be worn on the bracelet. Made as a work of art, a real miniature full of details, one of the highlights of the collection.

Motto: "Wine is poetry in a bottle".
Wine Spacer is a spacer that serves mainly to stop the beads inserted in a bangle, but also to create games of compositions on a necklace or bracelet, since the rubber pads placed inside make it fixed. Part of the series dedicated to the grape harvest, it reproduces bunches of grapes and their foliage.
Very nice, I find it well suited to any use, enriching the composition compared to the classic smooth silver stops.

Motto: “Age and glasses of wine should never be counted- Italian proverb”.
Pearl Flower Bead is a silver bead with three small white pearls, supported and surrounded by small buds.
To give a touch of light and refinement in the various compositions, I find it very suitable, a pity only for the price that I find excessive and disproportionate when compared to Serene Beauty Bead, considering its small size.

Cost: € 85.
Motto: “Pearls are always appropriate - Jackie Kennedy”.
Wizard of Labradorite Bead is a silver bead depicting the face of a troll on whose head is set and held by two claws, a faceted labradorite. Just below the mouth, there is an application with many engraved dots that I have not been able to identify what it represents.
This bead recalls the dawn of the Danish brand, where trolls, wizards and goblins were a constant. The rounded shape is interesting and remains one of my favorites.

Motto: “Let him help you to see things in a new light”.
Cradle of Success it is a round-shaped silver bead where a faceted Hessonite Garnet Bead is embedded, held by two claws. A series of buds around the stone and on the bottom complete the bead.
The shape is always interesting, this bead joins the similar beads of the previous collections, in a slightly more romantic variant. I find it very suitable when mounted on the ring.

Motto: “Embrace hessonite - the gemstone of success, wealth and longevity”.
Owl of Protection Bead is a silver bead whose owl features hold a smooth and round stone at the front, a Tiger's Eye. Wings and legs act as claws. The eyes are engraved, as is the plumage, the shape is a triangle and the base of the bead is smooth.
This is my favorite bead of the whole collection, as I have always been attracted to owls and owls and their aura of mystery and knowledge of nocturnal creatures. I find it well crafted and the stone gives the bead the extra touch.

Motto: “The wisest of all protects you with Tiger Eye - a real power gemstone”.
Wine Hoops in silver, made up of two rings in a semicircle topped by two vine leaves and a few grapes.
Rings, as a type of earring, have been back in vogue for some time, these by Trollbeads want to be a variation on the theme and in line with the series dedicated to the harvest. Medium in size, they are nice but I think the price is excessive.

Motto: “Red or white?”.
Foliage Pendant in silver and glass, consists of a glass sphere, with a design of concentric orange leaves, light brushstrokes in petrol green and outlined in white, and a silver hook / carabiner covered with small buds. The bead is suitable for the Fantasy Necklace but can also be worn in the bracelet.
The sphere is of great effect, both for the design and for the colors, clearly alluding to autumn which is well represented in its warm shades.

Motto: “Every leaf speaks bliss to me, fluttering from the autumn tree - Emily Brontë”.
Fall Flower Pendant in silver, consists of a hook / carabiner at the base of which a five-petal flower is reproduced. On the edge of each petal there is a small stud as if it were a drop of dew; the same are also found on the carabiner decoration.
A version of the pendant all in silver for those who prefer this material instead of glass or simply to make the ending of the necklace neutral.

Motto: “Nothing blooms like the fall flower”.
Scary Cat Bead is a roundish silver bead reproducing the muzzle of a cat on the front, with motifs reminiscent of Celtic art on the back.
The broad Mephistophelian smile, with sharp teeth in evidence, recalls the Chesire Cat, featured in Lewis Carroll's “Alice's Adventures in Wonderland”.
Designed for Halloween, I find it perfect and excellently made.

Cost: € 55 in Limited Edition.
Motto: “When black cats prowl and pumpkins gleam, may luck be yours on Halloween”.
Grapes Clasp in silver, sees the two opposing carabiners, easy to open, surmounted by a scroll motif that envelops both sides. On the one hand smooth and on the other with small studs in sequence.
Sturdy and quite practical, I find it a little bulky.

Motto: “When feeling under pressure, you are in a powerful transformation”.
Wine Clasp in silver, sees the classic smooth and simple lock surmounted by a bunch of grapes that embrace it, with decorated leaves and engraved ribs.
Also robust and practical, it is the perfect lock for a vintage-themed bracelet.
Of the four it is the one I prefer, as the theme is new to Trollbeads and I think it is well represented.

Motto: “The best wine is enjoyed together with friends”.
Clasp of Focus in silver, is the classic simple lock, with two opposing carabiners, enriched by the round and smooth Tiger's Eye stone on one side, on the other by some relief buds.
Practical and simple, suitable for minimal and sober compositions. The stone, being held by two jaws, does not run the risk of being lost, thus making the closure even safer to wear even on a daily basis.

Motto: “Take your power back”.
Inspiration & Success Clasp in silver, is the classic simple lock with two opposing carabiners, enriched, on both sides, by two different faceted stones: the Hessonite and the Amethyst, accompanied by some relief buds. Here, too, the stones are held in place by two claws.
Practical and simple, from any side it turns it shows a stone, which being of a different nature and of different color, can give life to a two-tone composition both as glass and as stones to be combined with it.

Motto: “An Amethyst and a Hessonite provides inspiration in art and success in your life”.
Meadow Life Kit consists of six glass beads: two with a floral theme, two with butterflies and two inspired by elements of nature.
The set of colors used are mainly cold shades, the only prominent bead in warm shades is Morning Mist Bead which, at a glance, despite being very beautiful, seems to clash with the rest of the set.

Motto: “Enjoy the happy blooming and the joyful humming of insects”.
Let's find out one by one.
Flower Pride Bead is a glass bead with a black background where inside there are three flowers with six lanceolate petals, with the infamous small bubble in the center. The color of the petals is pink variegated in white, with light shades in contrast to give depth and three-dimensionality.
A flower that follows the previous Flowers of Poise Bead and Flowers of Passion Bead, therefore a color variant. Of all the flowers Trollbeads represent over time, this shape is my favorite.

Motto: “Indulge in flowers of pride and passion”.
Flower Seduction Bead is a glass bead with an emerald green base, transparent cover glass and three-petaled flowers in blue and lilac, with a small bubble inside each flower.
The pansy is a flower with a very different appearance, to emphasize on the assignment of names (in Italian), it remains a well-made bead in terms of design and colors.
Cost: € 45.
Motto: “Be seduced by flowers of vitality and beauty”.
Butterfly Wink is a glass bead with a milky aquamarine green base and transparent cover glass. Decorated with three butterflies with spread wings, round in shape, in mauve and white variegated lilac, in relief.
Butterflies are now a constant for Trollbeads, which reproduces them in various shapes and colors. This is very simple, but the color is pleasant.
Cost: € 45.
Motto: “Flutter, flutter ... the butterfly is winking to you”.
Butterfly Bliss Bead is a transparent purple glass bead, with three butterflies reproduced on the side, whose wings are variegated in blue, teal, light green, mauve and white, with black polka dots.
Of the set it is the bead that I prefer, the almost iridescent color fascinates me and the shape of the butterflies fills it making it rich and at the same time delicate.
Cost: € 45.
Motto: “Feel light and bliss”.
Morning Mist Bead is a glass bead with a variegated amber, beige and white base, with transparent cover glass, surmounted by three rows of relief buds in transparent teal color. In the buds of the central row, there is a small bubble inside each one.
This is what I call a tactile bead, since the raised bubbles make it different from the classic smooth glass beads, giving it a certain pleasantness to the eye as well. On the fact that it reproduces a sunrise, I have some doubts, despite this it is my second favorite bead of the set.

Motto: “It's chill, but yet so warm at heart”.
Swirl Surprise Bead is a glass bead with a variegated base in sage green, aquamarine, beige enriched with micro spheres in silver, with concentric motifs aimed at recreating the vortex of the wind, where a small bubble is located in correspondence with each vortex.
A glass whose processing produces a remarkable optical effect of depth and relief, with dark colors but I would say easy to match.
Cost: € 45.
Motto: “Go with the flow and find the core”.
Flower Life Kit consists of six faceted glass beads: four with a floral theme and two abstract.
The colors used range from cold shades to warmer shades, without being purely autumnal. The bead that also in this set stands out for its shades very different from the others is Meadows Bead, the only one with a black base.

Cost: € 275.
Motto: “Live with grace, beauty and fresh flowers”.
Blossom Blues Bead is a faceted glass bead with a very light aquamarine milky base, variegated lanceolate motifs in white and light mauve, transparent cover glass. The three flowers reproduced have three petals in teal blue color; inside each flower there is a small bubble, which is also repeated between one flower and another.
A bead with a delicate nuance made interesting by the flowers in a contrasting color.
Cost: € 45.
Motto: “Beauty blossoms from the inside”.
Sunflower Fantasy Bead is a faceted glass bead with a pink base on which light blue and ocher leaf motifs are placed. Large yellow ocher flowers alternate, where in the center of each there is a touch of orange and a small bubble. The reproduced flowers have three and five petals.
With a lively color, this tone-on-tone bead can blend or be the protagonist.
Cost: € 55.
Motto: “Colours and shapes in feather light fantasy”.
Wildflowers Bead is a transparent faceted glass bead, where variegated leaves in light blue and light green and three-petaled flowers in a shaded beige color are reproduced inside. In the center of each flower is the small bubble.
A color variant in shades of sky and earth, which I find blends well with Blossom Blues Bead. The facet makes the design vibrant.
Cost: € 55.
Motto: “Love in a mist”.
Meadows Bead is a faceted glass bead with a black base and large mauve and lilac flowers, where in the center of each there is a touch of orange and a small bubble. The reproduced flowers are three-petalled surrounded by small leaves variegated in blue and light green.
A bead with very sensual colors which, however, in my opinion, has no correspondence within the collection.
Cost: € 55.
Motto: “A playful range of colours and shapes”.
Rippling Water Bead is a faceted glass bead, transparent light blue, with a variegated base in light blue, olive green, forest green and beige with diagonal motifs.
The facet emphasizes the bead's variegated pattern that almost appears to be in motion. Delicate and refined.
Cost: € 55.
Motto: “Dip your toes in the cool stream”.
Rays of Sunset Bead is a faceted glass bead, transparent mustard yellow, with a variegated base in beige, olive green and mustard.
A color variant of the previous one, a color which, however, I do not associate with that of the sunset as it has more orange and bright shades. A neutral bead that won't be difficult to match anyway.
Cost: € 55.
Motto: "Enjoy the last sun of the day".
And now let's move on to the novelty of this collection, the jumbo round stones: Tiger's Eye, Red Tiger's Eye, Cat's Eye and Black Cat's Eye.
Their size is about 10 mm., while the small ones of the previous collections are about 7 mm.

Jumbo Round Yellow Tiger Eye Bead belonging to the quartz family, is presented in gold/amber color with dark, brown streaks, responsible for the iridescent optical effect, also called "gattitude", since the impression is that of observing the pupil of a feline.
My grandmother Iolanda often wore a pair of gold earrings with this stone set and I, as a child, observed them and frightened me, because I really saw a pupil in them and the idea that they were observing me was a source of fear for me. Growing up then I started to love those earrings and I found they gave a particular light to my grandmother's face.
Today it is one of my favorite stones, thanks also to its properties such as mental clarity, strength and will. It is said that keeping a small one in your wallet helps you never run out of money ... I have never put this into practice but, as they say, trying doesn't hurt ;-)

Motto: “Roman legionnaires wore Tiger Eyes for protection. This stone helps us see things as they really are, allowing us to change them”.
Jumbo Round Red Tiger Eye Bead as large as the previous stone, it has the effect of chatoyancy, with a brown red and burgundy color.
A stone with warm and intense tones that goes well with lighter glass beads, to create movement and contrast.
Its properties include a stimulating action, accelerating metabolism and increasing sexual desire if low.
Cost: € 55.
Motto: “Red Tiger Eye increases motivation and it helps boost self-confidence and self-esteem”.
Jumbo Round Cat's Eye Bead in yellow version, belonging to the quartz family, has in common with the two previous “tiger's eye”, the phenomenon of chasing, iridescent reflections of light that vary according to the cut.
The color, which varies from mustard yellow to straw yellow with brown hues, is of a warm tone that blends well with the autumn theme, recalling the color of some leaves. As a property it includes grounding, fostering creativity and introspection.
Cost: € 55.
Motto: “A gemstone for happiness, optimism and luck. The Cat's Eye Quartz is said to strengthen your intuition and helps you let go of negative energies”.
Jumbo Round Black Cat’s Eye Bead shows less evident (again depending on the cut of the stone) the gattitude which turns out to be dark gray. Among its properties clarity of sight, it protects sight and nervous system, reducing stress.
A black stone is a bit of a passe-partout, suitable for both monochrome compositions and compositions with contrasting colors, therefore lighter. Black as a color remains among my favorites and flanked by silver beads, I think you find the perfect combination.

Motto: “A gemstone to stimulate intuition and to enhance awareness. It is a grounding gemstone that provides a protective energy”.
Trollbeads usually assign not only a name to each of its creations, but also a motto, an intrinsic meaning that merges with the jewel.
This makes everything very poetic and since we are talking about modular jewels, highly emotional because they tell stories, ours stories, poetry is part of the magic.
Yet, if I have to be completely honest, I don't look at the meaning given by Trollbeads but I choose through my personal taste, or on the basis of a combination that I have to make. And, to be honest, I often change the motto of the bead to give it a new one, all mine.
The meaning, however, can come to the aid if the bead is to be given to someone, perhaps you are undecided, perhaps you are not sure what the person to whom you want to give it might like and so the motto can become a way to sanction our own thought.
And how do you choose the beads? Do you let yourself be enchanted by the mottos or do you choose according to your personal tastes?
As you will have seen from the photographs I took, the compositions are mainly of stones and glass, compositions with silver beads and other elements are missing. How come? Simple: time! Yes, sometimes time is a tyrant and does not allow you to achieve everything you would like, so this time I had to make a virtue out of necessity and it was in any case illuminating because it allowed me to make a beautiful discovery.
I have always preferred silver beads to glass ones, those who read me and those who have known me for a while know this well.
The discovery was to experience a particular pleasure in assembling the two sets of glass beads, smooth and faceted, also mixing them with the jumbo round stones. The final result is therefore that of bracelets that are decidedly variegated, cheerful and praising that enjoyable nature to which autumn brings us closer, the grapes with their juicy berries, the chestnuts with their soft pulp, the pomegranate with such a full flavor, and the colors, warm, enveloping, like a mantle of leaves that covers the lawn now ready to lethargy, and the last flowers in lilac, blue, purple, yellow tones, which delight the eye such as amaranth, cornflower, rudbeckia, chrysanthemum.
There is only one composition that sees a mix of silver from previous collections, uniques, faceted and jumbo round stones from this new collection.
Overall, the collection has many new elements, the size of the new round stones, which I personally find very apt, the “Bacchus” theme, the earrings, the pendants.
Søren Nielsen demonstrates once again how the details make the difference, with his silver beads with a well-balanced design between past and present. If I look at Wine Goddess Bead, I see the somatic features of his family, in the face he has modeled, and this is a strong sign of belonging, since Trollbeads is first of all family.
A rich and varied collection that I believe can find support even among those who do not particularly love autumn, since the colors of some glass beads can certainly be related to other seasons and themes as well as some silver and silver beads and stones they can be worn without necessarily representing the autumn season.
When I saw this collection through the preview images, I remembered a book I read years ago and Mozart.
Mozart is one of my favorite musicians, whom I have listened to continuously in a certain period of my life; he energized me and at the same time relaxed me, granted me a respite from the expectations I had for myself.
The power of music in general has solid foundations, so much so that one day a man decided to whisper to the vineyards about him through it.
Carlo Cignozzi, a lawyer by family tradition, after almost forty years, one day realizes that being a lawyer is not enough for him, it is no longer suited to the man he has become in the meantime, and having high expectations towards himself and nature that loves, decides to "abdicate" and it is during a journey that his future between music and vineyards is predicted. Thus he begins to give life to what is basically a dream that he has been cultivating within himself for some time and, in the lands of Montalcino in Tuscany, he begins to grow his vineyard under the influence of Mozart's harmonies, convinced of the power of music on the vegetation.
The experiment is not only successful, but he has proof of it having himself grown some plants "set to music" and others "dumb". The rooted cuttings to music grew with greater vigor, orienting leaves, buds and fronds towards the music diffuser and the first bunches matured earlier and doubled in number.
Instead, the "silent" rooted cuttings, without music, grew more slowly.
He caused a sensation his experiment and did not even go unnoticed by the sound magnate Amar Bose, with whom he will end up having a collaboration that will give rise to bio-sound, the vanguard of organic.
But why Mozart? In his works we find the Fibonacci sequences, that is the mathematical language of nature, so it could not be otherwise for Carlo Cignozzi, and this intuition also proved him right because, following a fungal attack on the vineyard, after having put the Requiem, in a few days the attack ceased and the vine healed, even before treating it differently.
An autobiographical story that, in some way, wants to be a spur for those who have a dream, an intuition, an invitation not to give up, even when things get difficult.
It took him years to make it happen, but now his dream is well rooted, like the vineyard that he has cared for with so much passion and dedication.
