Per chi non ne fosse ancora al corrente, da ottobre scorso Trollbeads ha iniziato una collaborazione con Thun, nota azienda italiana di oggettistica per la casa nata nel 1950, a Bolzano in Trentino - Alto Adige, da un sogno della contessa Lene Thun.

Thun, che già aveva una propria linea di bijoux, rivolgendosi a Trollbeads ha voluto compiere un salto di qualità e inserirsi così nel mondo del gioiello componibile, idea che si è rivelata vincente poiché la precedente collezione è stata un successo.

La continuità che il brand Thun by Trollbeads vuole dare, inizia questo nuovo anno con una mini collezione dedicata a San Valentino. 

La mini collezione si compone di un bead in argento, un beads in vetro e due bracciali in cuoio con ognuno un bead in vetro differente.

Andiamo a scoprirla nel dettaglio.

"Teddy Cupido" della designer Lise Aagaard, è un bead in argento che vede il classico orsetto Thun riprodotto in veste Cupido, con tanto di piccole ali sulla schiena. Tra le zampine sembra trattenere un arco con un tris di cuori, come pronto a scoccar le sue frecce. Dico "sembra" poiché la realizzazione di questo dettaglio non è molto chiara.

Trovo il bead, in linea di massima, ben rifinito, le piccole ali poste sulla schiena sono davvero molto graziose. Ho notato però, infilandolo nel bracciale, che tende a rimanere a testa in giù, si può ovviare all'inconveniente affiancandolo da uno Stop. Questo vale anche per il bangle. Nel bracciale in cuoio invece rimane fermo e in piedi da solo.

Il suo motto recita "Tuo per sempre".

"Pois Amore" della designer Lise Aagaard, è un bead in vetro (per i collezionisti Trollbeads, le dimensioni sono uguali agli Small & Beautiful) la cui base si presenta a righe bianche, rosse e beige, con copertura trasparente sormontata da sei pois rossi che, a loro volta sono sormontati da altrettanti pois in rilievo, in gergo "bud", in color beige scuro (la stessa tonalità del bead in vetro presente nello start "Bracciale dei Desideri").

Ritengo l'abbinamento colori sia azzeccato e riprenda sia un tema "amore" che un tema primavera.

Il suo motto recita "Segui il tuo cuore".

Il costo è di €45.

"Bracciale Regalo Per Lei" della designer Lise Aagaard, si compone di un bracciale Casual in pelle marrone chiaro e di un bead in vetro verde chiaro trasparente, sormontato da dodici fiorellini a tre petali in color lilla e un sottile contorno a contrasto in color malva, con capolino centrale giallo in rilievo.

Il bracciale in pelle riporta, ad una delle due estremità, una asola in cui è possibile infilare l'altra estremità annodandola per legarlo al polso. Per chi ha un polso esile, una volta effettuato il nodo a misura, è possibile tagliare il laccio in eccedenza.

A fianco dell'asola è impresso il nome Trollbeads. Su questo dettaglio mi soffermo un attimo poiché, essendo un bracciale della linea Thun avrei preferito trovare impresso per intero "Thun By Trollbeads", per affermarne la proprietà.

Il bracciale risulta leggero e pratico da indossare e sfilare. Va tenuto conto che, con il tempo, come tutti i bracciali in pelle o cuoio, tende ad usurarsi e ad inscurirsi.

Il bead in vetro risulta romantico e raffinato, perfetto come colore abbinato al bracciale in pelle marrone chiaro ma senz'altro adatto anche ad essere inserito in altre composizioni, come ad esempio Sogno Viola, Filo d'Oro e Sogno Verde della precedente collezione.

Il suo motto recita "Dedicato a te".

Il costo del bracciale così composto è di €39.

"Bracciale Regalo Per Lui" della designer Lise Aagaard, si compone di un bracciale Casual in pelle marrone scuro e di un bead in vetro giallo chiaro trasparente, sormontato da un motivo di dodici petali contrapposti in color avorio e altrettante sottili foglioline centrali, disposte a zig-zag, in color marrone scuro.

Il bracciale in pelle ha le medesime caratteristiche del precedente.

Il bead in vetro rispetto al colore del bracciale, crea un bel contrasto, elegante, anche lui senza dubbio adatto ad essere inserito in altre combinazioni e, riferito alla collezione Thun precedente, lo vedo ben accostato sempre ai beads a tinta unita.

Il suo motto recita "Ti penso sempre".

Il costo del bracciale così composto è di €39.

San Valentino è sempre una buona occasione per dare voce ai propri sentimenti, anche attraverso una poesia da trascrivere in un biglietto da allegare a un dono.

C'è una poesia che mi piace ricordare, semplice in apparenza ma di grande forza emotiva, è del poeta turco Nazim Hikmet, una tra le sue poesie più conosciute, facente parte della raccolta "Poesie d'amore". Lascia intendere che ci sia ancora una speranza, il piacere in divenire e che non ci si debba mai fermare nella propria personale ricerca della felicità.

Thun by Trollbeads ha già pensato anche alla Festa del Papà, che in Italia si festeggia il 19 marzo, dedicandovi due beads: uno in argento ed uno in vetro.

"Elefante" della designer Lise Aagaard, è un bead in argento che vede il classico elefante Thun riprodotto in miniatura con la proboscide all'insù.

Ben dettagliato e rifinito, completo di zanne e coda, è anch'esso davvero molto grazioso. Ho però riscontrato, come per Teddy Cupido, che infilandolo nel bracciale tende a rimanere a testa in giù. Per ovviare sarà sufficiente affiancarlo da uno Stop.

Il suo motto recita "Conta sempre su di me".

Il costo è di €55.

"Amore Grande" della designer Lise Aagaard, è un bead in vetro in colore grigio, come la pelle del pachiderma, con motivi in blu alternati, quasi a formare dei grandi pois.

Questo bead, decisamente di foggia maschile, si presta anche in combinazioni che rimandano al cielo ed alle stelle o comunque in qualsiasi altra composizione che possa dettare la fantasia.

Il suo motto recita "Un amore infinito".

Nel complesso trovo questa nuova release Thun by Trollbeads piacevole, che ben si adatta anche a temi differenti da San Valentino.

L'Elefante in particolare, essendo ritenuto un simbolo portafortuna, può essere acquistato senza dubbio anche al di fuori della ricorrenza per cui è stato creato.

I bracciali in pelle sono una idea regalo completa essendo pronti per essere indossati, ad un prezzo veramente ottimo.

Amore Grande, tra tutti, forse è l'unico bead che non mi ha particolarmente colpita, credo abbia bisogno di essere valorizzato affiancato da altri beads a contrasto. 

L'aspetto dei beads in argento rispecchia il tipico design delle ceramiche Thun, mentre i beads in vetro questa volta trovo abbiano più il classico aspetto delle collezioni Trollbeads. Sarà così sicuramente più facile, per i collezionisti Trollbeads, abbinarli.

The mini collection consists of a silver bead, a glass bead and two leather bracelets with each a different glass bead.

Let's go and discover them in detail.

"Teddy Cupido" by designer Lise Aagaard, is a silver bead that sees the classic Thun bear reproduced in Cupid guise, complete with small wings on the back. Between his paws he seems to hold a bow with a trio of hearts, as if ready to shoot his arrows. I say "it seems" because the realization of this detail is not very clear.

I find the bead, in principle, well finished, the small wings placed on the back are really very pretty. However, I noticed, by putting it in the bracelet, which tends to remain upside down, you can solve the problem by adding a Stop to it. This also applies to the bangle. In the leather bracelet, on the other hand, it remains stationary and standing alone.

Its motto is "Yours forever".

The cost is €55.

"Pois Amore" by designer Lise Aagaard, is a glass bead (for Trollbeads collectors, the dimensions are the same as Small & Beautiful) whose base is in white, red and beige stripes, with a transparent cover surmounted by six red polka dots that, in turn they are surmounted by as many raised polka dots, in the jargon "bud", in dark beige color (the same shade of the glass bead present in the "Bracciale dei Desideri" start).

I think the color combination is spot on and takes up both a "love" theme and a spring theme.

Its motto is "Follow your heart".

The cost is €45.

"Bracciale Regalo Per Lei" by designer Lise Aagaard, consists of a Casual bracelet in light brown leather and a bead in transparent light green glass, surmounted by twelve lilac-colored three-petaled flowers and a subtle contrasting outline in mauve, with yellow central flower head in relief.

The leather bracelet shows, at one of the two ends, a buttonhole in which it is possible to insert the other end by knotting it to tie it to the wrist. For those with a slender wrist, once the knot has been made to size, it is possible to cut the excess lace.

The name Trollbeads is stamped next to the buttonhole. I will dwell on this detail for a moment because, being a bracelet from the Thun line, I would have preferred to have "Thun By Trollbeads" stamped entirely, to affirm its ownership.

The bracelet is light and practical to wear and take off. It should be borne in mind that, with time, like all leather or leather bracelets, it tends to wear out and darken.

The glass bead is romantic and refined, perfect as a color matched to the light brown leather bracelet but certainly also suitable to be inserted in other compositions, such as Sogno Viola, Filo d'Oro and Sogno Verde from the previous collection.

Its motto is "Dedicated to you".

The glass bead with respect to the color of the bracelet creates a nice, elegant contrast, also undoubtedly suitable to be inserted in other combinations and, referring to the previous Thun collection, I see it always well matched to the solid color beads.

Its motto is "I always think of you".

The cost of the bracelet thus composed is €39.

Valentine's Day is always a good opportunity to give voice to your feelings, even through a poem to be transcribed on a card to be attached to a gift.

There is a poem that I like to remember, simple in appearance but of great emotional strength, is by the Turkish poet Nazim Hikmet, one of his best known poems, part of the collection "Poems of love". It suggests that there is still hope, pleasure in the making and that one should never stop in one's own personal pursuit of happiness.

Thun by Trollbeads has already thought about Father's Day, which is celebrated in Italy on March 19th, dedicating two beads: one in silver and one in glass.

"Elefante" by designer Lise Aagaard, is a silver bead featuring the classic Thun elephant reproduced in miniature with its trunk upturned.

Well detailed and finished, complete with fangs and tail, it is also very pretty. However, I found, as with Teddy Cupido, that putting it in the bracelet tends to remain upside down. To remedy it, it will be sufficient to place a Stop next to it.

Its motto is "Always count on me".

"Amore Grande" by designer Lise Aagaard, is a glass bead in a gray color, like the skin of the pachyderm, with alternating blue motifs, almost forming large polka dots.

This bead, definitely masculine in style, also lends itself to combinations that refer to the sky and the stars or in any other composition that can dictate the imagination.

Its motto is "An infinite love".

Overall I find this new Thun by Trollbeads release pleasant, which is also well suited to themes other than Valentine's Day.

The Elephant in particular, being considered a lucky symbol, can undoubtedly be purchased even outside the anniversary for which it was created.

Leather bracelets are a complete gift idea being ready to be worn, at a really great price.

Amore Grande, of all, perhaps it is the only bead that has not particularly impressed me, I think it needs to be enhanced alongside other contrasting glass beads.

The appearance of the silver beads reflects the typical design of Thun ceramics, while the glass beads this time I find they have more the classic look of the Trollbeads collections. It will certainly be easier for Trollbeads collectors to combine them.
