Trollbeads Giardino delle Meraviglie collezione primavera 2022, recensione - Trollbeads Flower Garden Spring 2022 Collection, Review
La nuova collezione Trollbeads dedicata alla primavera, uscita venerdì 21 gennaio, è senza dubbio una ode ai fiori, non a caso il nome che è stato scelto, “Giardino delle Meraviglie”, incarna l’immaginifico di un luogo incantato ove tutto è poesia.
Il giardino un po’ come metafora del prendersi cura, una potente e straordinaria forma d’amore e gratitudine applicabile anzitutto verso noi stessi e successivamente agli altri, coltivando corpo, anima e spirito.
I beads spesso vengono in nostro aiuto sotto forma di gratifica personale, come dono da fare a qualcuno o una storia da raccontare e condividere, difatti una passione comune può veder nascere amicizie che valicano confini: non esiste età, sesso, distanza che possa essere di ostacolo tra appassionati di beads.
Ed è grazie a questa passione che ho avuto il piacere di conoscere una persona speciale: Karin Gillett.
Karin, collezionista americana, ci ha lasciati qualche giorno fa e la notizia della sua scomparsa ha gettato tutti nello sconforto. Una donna eclettica, volitiva, molto generosa, positiva e con una parola buona per tutti, ha tenuto quotidianamente compagnia a molti di noi con le immagini delle sue variegate ed inimitabili composizioni, credo Karin la si possa paragonare ad una icona.
Nel marzo 2020, in occasione del primo compleanno del mio blog, ho avuto l’onore di intervistarla e mai avrei pensato, tantomeno voluto, che questa intervista potesse divenire un tributo alla sua memoria.

Questa mia recensione della collezione Trollbeads “Giardino delle Meraviglie” la dedico a lei, Karin, che sono certa, ovunque si trovi, ora sorrida nel vedere tutti questi nuovi fiori e colori che, come un inno alla vita, avrebbe saputo amalgamare creando qualcosa di unico e straordinario.
La primavera deve essere una delle stagioni preferite dal noto designer Søren Nielsen, che firma la maggior parte dei pezzi della collezione esattamente come nella collezione dello scorso anno, un forte segnale di appartenenza al mondo del gioiello componibile dunque, creato dapprima dal padre Svend Nielsen, evolutosi poi con l’aiuto e l’estro dei figli Jens, Søren, Per e Lise, poiché Trollbeads è una storia di famiglia.
E questa collezione, di cui Søren e gli altri designer ne sono artefici, racconta di fiori, farfalle, gatti e una cicala, i primi segnali del risveglio della natura dopo il letargo dell’inverno, e della voglia di colore per incantare gli animi.
Andiamo ora a scoprire la ricca collezione che si compone di: sette beads in argento, uno stop in argento, quattro chiusure, un pendente in vetro e argento, un anello in argento, due set con ben dodici beads in vetro e due pietre preziose.
Bocciolo, è un bead in argento che rappresenta un ramoscello con i suoi boccioli in rilievo, modellato in maniera sinuosa affinché possa essere inserito al suo interno una perla o una piccola pietra rotonda.
Dalle prime immagini trapelate nel web qualche settimana fa, a colpo d’occhio il bead mi era apparso come il tentacolo di un polpo, quindi attinenza nulla con il tema della primavera. Ora che ho potuto vederlo dal vivo riesco a scorgere l’idea dei boccioli sul ramoscello. Un piccolo bead per incorniciarne un altro.

Motto: “Le cose più belle hanno bisogno di tempo”.
Canto della Cicala è un bead in argento che raffigura una cicala ad ali spiegate. Le quattro ali sono finemente incise e in apice sembra di scorgere, in ognuna, un piccolo cuore; il retro delle ali è liscio, mentre il corpo dell’insetto si allunga avvolgendosi su se stesso, creando lo spazio necessario per infilarvi il bracciale.
Il bead inserito nel bangle o nel bracciale a coda di volpe, assume l’aspetto di un piccolo pendente. Ho notato che la parte finale del corpo si assottiglia sino a divenire appuntito, rimane protetto da una delle ali ma, nel maneggiarlo, può capitare di pungersi, cosa che non accade una volta indossato nel bracciale.
Di questo bead ciò che prediligo è la lavorazione delle ali e, nell'insieme, mi piace come sa prendersi il suo spazio da pendente.

Motto: “Una dolce melodia d’amore”.
Scrigno di Foglie è un bead in argento di forma tondeggiante che vede incrociarsi una serie di foglie, dalle nervature incise e sormontate da qualche bocciolo.
Le foglie sono divenute una costante nelle collezioni Trollbeads e questo bead sembra andare a sostituire Foglie al Vento ritirato proprio quest’anno.
Di medie dimensioni, senz’altro spicca in qualsiasi composizione.

Costo: €45.
Motto: “Sarò il tuo riparo quando ne avrai bisogno”.
Gatto Innamorato è un bead in argento, di piccole dimensioni, raffigurante un gatto la cui coda, arcuandosi verso una delle zampe anteriori, forma lo spazio per inserire il bracciale.
Giocoso ed astratto, il bead trovo sia piacevole e ben realizzato nella posa.
Azzardo? Forse il prezzo poteva essere inferiore.

Costo: €45.
Motto: “Sei il mio centro di gravità”.
Corolla è un bead in argento formato da quattro petali poggianti su di un piccolo anello e sormontati da alcune piccole sfere come fossero gocce di rugiada. Una serie di piccole incisioni verticali enfatizzano quelle che sono le nervature dei petali.
Questo bead mi ricorda Fiore Delicato, uscito nella collezione primavera 2021 e che ha riscosso un gran successo proprio per la sua forma aggraziata che può anche contenere una perla o una piccola pietra rotonda.
Anche Corolla riscuoterà lo stesso successo? Ai posteri l’ardua sentenza!

Motto: “Preparati a sbocciare”.
N.B.= Di tutta la collezione, questo bead risultava mancante al momento della stesura della recensione, pertanto ho utilizzato fotografia istituzionale presa dal sito Trollbeads.
Perle in Fiore è un bead misto, ossia in argento e perle. Le tre perle sono bianche e si uniscono a formare un triangolo; da un lato del bead si diramano sei foglie di differenti dimensioni, dalle nervature incise e tre piccoli fiori a quattro petali sono posati tra una perla e l’altra.
Il design di questo bead ricorda molto Tripla Perla Bianca, un bead storico che proprio quest’anno è stato ritirato, probabilmente per lasciare il posto a questa versione rinnovata che mi piace particolarmente, trovandola completa.

Costo: €85.
Motto: “La perla è la regina delle gemme e la gemma delle regine - Grace Kelly -”.
Intreccio di Fiori è un bead misto, in argento e perla, dove la corolla del fiore racchiude la perla bianca, circondata da tante piccolissime sfere che la illuminano. Mentre il gambo del fiore, arricchito con tre foglie dalle nervature incise, ripiegandosi su se stesso crea lo spazio per infilarvi una perla, una piccola pietra rotonda o qualsiasi altro bead in argento di piccole dimensioni.
Una versione più accattivante e romantica rispetto il semplice Bocciolo. Un bead che reputo di grande effetto ma con un prezzo forse troppo alto.

Costo: €85.
Motto: “Fai che da ogni tua esperienza sbocci una perla preziosa”.
Stop Danza di Farfalle in argento è appunto quel genere di bead che viene chiamato “stop” poiché al suo interno è apposto un piccolo anello in gomma affinché faccia attrito e resti fermo nella posizione desiderata, spesso utilizzato nel bangle.
Una serie di piccole farfalle dalle ali finemente decorate, si rincorrono intorno allo stop, presenti anche piccole sfere a bocciolo.
Uno stop decisamente romantico e leggiadro, adatto a qualsiasi tipo di composizione.

Motto: “Unisciti a loro e libera la tua magia”.
Chiusura Giardino delle Farfalle in argento, vede la forma piatta con i due moschettoni contrapposti, sormontata da quattro foglie e una farfalla con il medesimo design dello stop.
Pratica, robusta e imponente, si apre e si chiude con facilità, senz’altro un pregio. A mio parere la chiusura poteva essere arricchita con più farfalle e meno foglie.

Motto: “Il segreto è non correre dietro alle farfalle. È curare il giardino perché esse vengano da te. - Mário Quintana”.
Chiusura Gatti Innamorati in argento, vede due gatti contrapporsi e dare vita, attraverso zampe e code, ai due moschettoni.
La leva per l’apertura del moschettone più grande è una zampa di uno dei due gatti e sollevandosi per lasciare entrare l’anella del bracciale si evidenziano nella seconda leva i polpastrelli, un dettaglio simpatico.
Non particolarmente pratica ma senz’altro curata nei minimi dettagli.

Motto: “Se avessi sette vite ti sceglierei in ognuna di esse”.
Chiusura Corolla con Perla è in argento, con due petali lavorati con fine zigrinatura, che avvolgono la chiusura in un abbraccio, mentre da un lato soltanto è presente una piccola perla bianca a cabochon trattenuta da tre griffes. Presenti anche alcuni piccoli boccioli.
Sufficientemente pratica, questa chiusura è il perfetto proseguimento del bead Corolla, insieme renderanno ricco e prezioso qualsiasi bracciale, anche il più disadorno, poiché talvolta bastano davvero pochi beads per avere comunque un gioiello che si lascia ammirare. Unica nota dolente, il prezzo.

Motto: “Preparati a sbocciare”.
Chiusura Danza di Farfalle è una chiusura in argento con pietra, una per parte: la Prenite con Quarzo Tormalinato, entrambe sfaccettate. Due farfalle insieme ad alcuni boccioli la sormontano.
Chiusura pratica dal lato del moschettone più grande, il moschettone più piccolo ha il perno di apertura inserito tra le due farfalle e risulta più scomodo e con minor spazio per inserirvi l’anella del bracciale.
Ricorda la precedente Chiusura Coraggio.
Nell’insieme trovo sia gradevole ma prediligo la funzionalità nelle chiusure e questa la è poco.

Motto: “Prenite e Quarzo Tormalinato per affrontare la vita con leggerezza”.
Pendente Giardino delle Farfalle si compone di una sfera in vetro dai colori verde, giallo, marrone e bianco uniti insieme in un triplo effetto a spirale che si conclude con una piccola bolla al centro. Il moschettone in argento ha una farfalla applicata e due piccoli boccioli. Adatto per la Collana Fantasia Intercambiabile.
Nel suo insieme lo trovo grazioso, nonostante i colori non siano attinenti agli altri beads in vetro della collezione.

Motto: “Il segreto è non correre dietro alle farfalle. È curare il giardino perché esse vengano da te. - Mário Quintana”.
Anello Fantasia Gatto Innamorato è un anello in argento in cui vediamo il gatto e la sua coda avvolgersi creando appunto il gambo dell’anello, dove un perno a vite permette di inserire un bead in vetro o una pietra o qualsiasi altro bead abbia le caratteristiche di dimensioni adatte ad esservi infilato.
Come l’Anello Sirenetta, bisogna prestare attenzione nello sfilarlo dal dito poiché il bead tende a scivolare fuori.
L’idea e la sinuosità del gatto sono pregevoli ma, a mio gusto, trovo l’anello troppo alto e ingombrante nella sua forma complessiva a piramide, più adatto a mani grandi.

Motto: “Sei il mio centro di gravità”.
Set Giardino Zen si compone di sei beads in vetro realizzati dai designer Tashi, Dhundup and Dolma.
Costo: €225.
Motto: “Il tuo luogo felice”.
Scopriamoli tutti e sei, ricordando che sono vendibili anche singolarmente.
Bocciolo del Rinnovamento è un bead in vetro che si presenta con un fondo in colore verde chiaro, vetro di copertura trasparente sormontato da pois ovalizzati in verde oliva contornati da sottile bordo bianco e un motivo in avventurina ramata che li racchiude, a intercalare piccoli pois bianchi; ai lati motivi a foglia dello stesso colore dei pois ovalizzati, anch’essi racchiusi dal sottile motivo in avventurina ramata.
Un bead dal design raffinato, con un colore facile da abbinare, che rimanda senza dubbio alla primavera in fiore.
Costo: €45.
Motto: “I boccioli di oggi saranno i fiori di domani”.
Petunia della Gioia bead in vetro di colore rosso corallo coprente, sormontato da piccoli pois variegati lilla e viola ad emulare la corolla della petunia.
I beads dal colore pieno si prestano per composizioni di carattere e a contrasto, quelle che prediligo.
Costo: €45.
Motto: “Sii positiva e forte come la petunia che mantiene la sua fioritura anche ai primi geli”.
Sentiero della Pace è un bead in vetro in colore avorio coprente, con decoro a greca in avventurina ramata.
Il bead sembra ricordare il percorso dei giardini con labirinti. Un colore neutro che potrà essere facilmente abbinato tono su tono o in composizioni a contrasto.
Costo: €45.
Motto: “Nel silenzio, ascolta te stesso”.
Giglio della Purezza è un bead in vetro dalla base color cipria lattiginosa e vetro di copertura lievemente ambrato trasparente, a decoro due fiori a otto petali lanceolati e variegati in arancione, celeste e bordeaux.
Per chi ama i decori a fiore nei beads in vetro, questa è una variante diversa dai soliti cui siamo abituati e per questo direi apprezzabile, nonché maggiormente raffinato.
Costo: €45.
Motto: “Solo con una mente libera si raggiunge la verità”.
Petali di Serenità è un bead in vetro a base color avorio lattiginoso, con vetro di copertura lievemente ambrato trasparente, sormontato da un sottile filo in bianco a doppio giro e da un sottile filo in avventurina ramata sempre a doppio giro. Si contrappongono poi due gruppi di petali variegati in bianco e viola.
Essenziale nel design ed elegante nell’aspetto, di colore neutro ben si adatta a qualunque composizione.
Costo: €45.
Motto: “Mantieni la calma e trova la tua pace interiore”.
Narciso dell’Armonia è un bead in vetro dalla base color albicocca e vetro di copertura trasparente, con decori stilizzati che imitano il narciso e la sua trombetta, variegati in bianco, beige, viola e bordeaux.
Tenendo presente che il narciso prevalentemente è di colore bianco e giallo, escludendo le varianti gialle o arancioni, ritengo che questo bead non abbia caratteristiche cromatiche adeguate per rappresentarlo. Dell’intero set questo è il bead che mi piace di meno.
Costo: €45.
Motto: “Se c’è bellezza nella persona, ci sarà armonia nel suo giardino”.
Quando si dice primavera si pensa a tonalità brillanti come il verde delle gemme, il rosa dei fiori appena sbocciati, questo è un set atipico per rappresentare la primavera poiché le tonalità risultano opacizzate, quasi più consone ad una palette autunnale.
Eppure hanno il loro fascino e ciò che li contraddistingue credo sia la raffinatezza.
Il podio lo riservo a Petunia della Gioia, Sentiero della Pace e Giglio della Purezza.
Set Giardino delle Meraviglie si compone di sei beads in vetro sfaccettati realizzati dalla designer Neetu Gupta.
Costo: €275.
Motto: “Riempi di colore il tuo giardino e vivrai come se ci fosse sempre il sole”.
Scopriamoli tutti e sei, ricordando che sono vendibili anche singolarmente.
Fiori d’Arancio è un bead in vetro sfaccettato dalla base ambrata trasparente a cui si sovrappongono sei fiori a tre petali in arancio, contornati in color marrone, sottili linee a zebratura in bianco e vetro di copertura trasparente. All’interno di ogni fiore c’è una piccola bolla a fungere da pistillo.
La zagara, che sarebbe il nome dato al fiore dell’arancio, in realtà è bianca ed ha cinque petali lanceolati, qui la versione è sicuramente reinterpretata, poiché non vedo attinenza con il fiore menzionato.
Un bead comunque piacevole che troverà facile abbinamento con colori neutri, verdi e aranciati.
Costo: €55.
Motto: “Il fiore della purezza e della generosità”.
Plumeria dal fondo verde chiarissimo, vede sovrapporsi in un movimento a onde il trio di colore verde brillante, bianco e avventurina ramata. Il bianco dei tre è il colore predominante per spessore di tratto. Sopra si posano quattro fiori a tre petali sempre in avventurina ramata contornati da un sottile tratto in bianco.
Se i nomi hanno importanza, anche qui non v’è attinenza con il menzionato plumeria, detto anche frangipane, che nella realtà ha cinque petali bianchi e gialli. Esistono altre varianti colore ma quella rappresentata nel bead non trova corrispondenza.
Aldilà di questa precisazione, che potrebbe non interessare, il bead ha comunque un suo appeal, il verde è sempre un colore apprezzato soprattutto nelle composizioni dedicate alla natura.
Costo: €55.
Motto: “Ogni fiore è un’anima che sboccia nella natura - Gerard De Nerval”.
Gelsomino ha base coprente in verde acqua e tre fiori a cinque petali variegati in tonalità di verde a contrasto, delimitati da un sottile tratto in color prugna e vetro di copertura in verde chiaro trasparente. La bollicina al centro di ogni fiore è presente anche qui.
Il colore del bead è particolarmente brillante e apprezzo il tono su tono, mi tocca però evidenziare ancora una volta la quasi nulla attinenza con il nome dato al bead, poiché il fiore del gelsomino è tipicamente bianco e con petali lanceolati a forma di stella.
Costo: €55.
Motto: “Il gelsomino bianco rispecchia l’amabilità ed il candore d’animo”.
Sole Terra è un bead dal fondo variegato in motivo a onde, a tratti concentriche, in color marrone, bianco, celeste e pervinca, sormontato da coppie di righe orizzontali in avventurina ramata.
La sfaccettatura enfatizza il colore del bead rendendolo particolarmente elegante. Credo possa divenire il bead di punta di questo set per le sue caratteristiche che lo rendono adatto a composizioni di vario tipo.
Costo: €55.
Motto: “I raggi luminosi del sole baciano il suolo e dischiudono la bellezza”.
Letto di Fiori sembra essere una variante colore di Sole Terra, dove tonalità pastello di verde e rosa e avventurina dorata si amalgamano dando vita ad un bead dai colori decisamente primaverili.
Costo: €55.
Motto: “Sdraiati tra i petali e contempla la natura”.
Orchidea Corallo è una variante colore del bead Fiori d’Arancio, con base ambrata, fiori a tre petali in color albicocca contornati da sottilissimo tratto in color marrone e sottili linee a zebratura in avorio; il vetro di copertura è trasparente e all’interno di ogni fiore c’è una piccola bolla a fungere da pistillo.
Il bead a colpo d’occhio è davvero difficile da distinguere rispetto Fiori d’Arancio, solamente appaiandoli si può notare che Orchidea Corallo ha tratti più fini e un colore in generale meno brillante.
A mio parere risulta essere una sorta di doppione che all’interno di un set non ha senso di esistere.
Tralascio l’attinenza con il nome, che anche questa volta non trovo.
Costo: €55.
Motto: “Rara ed elegante”.
Questo set è una apoteosi di fiori, poiché quattro beads su sei li vedono rappresentati. I colori, rispetto il precedente set, sono più brillanti e forse maggiormente attinenti alla primavera. Nell’insieme un set gradevole, nonostante i due beads molto simili per fattezza e colore.
Il podio lo riservo a Sole e Terra, Letto di Fiori e Gelsomino.
Granato Feldpsato è una pietra sfaccettata in cui sono evidenti inclusioni di granato, color amaranto e verde, marrone, beige.
Designer: Lise Aagaard.
Costo: €65.
Motto: “Il Feldspato aumenta l’autostima e la consapevolezza e il granato è noto per allontanare la negatività indossato per potenziare il pensiero positivo”.
Prenite con Quarzo Tormalinato è una pietra sfaccettata dal colore verde chiarissimo e traslucente con inclusioni di aghi in verde scuro a contrasto.
Designer: Lise Aagaard.
Costo: €65.
Motto: “La Prenite porta protezione e aiuta ad essere preparati. In passato, la prenite era conosciuta come una pietra magica e si dice che aiutasse la comunicazione spirituale”.
Nel suo insieme la collezione “Giardino delle Meraviglie” ritengo rispecchi il design e l’appeal tipici Trollbeads, dove i vari materiali si incontrano dando vita a tante piccole opere d’arte.
Trollbeads, per celebrare la primavera e premiare i fan più affezionati, ha poi pensato ad un concorso speciale, iniziato il 21 gennaio e che terminerà il 31 dicembre.
Contestualmente ad un acquisto, si riceverà il libro “Le tue storie preziose” (assicuratevi che sia sigillato dal cellophane) al cui interno è stata inserita una cartolina con un codice che andrà digitato nella apposita casella al sito www.storietrollbeads.it/letuestoriepreziose , previa registrazione.
In palio ci sono dieci stampe al mese firmate dalla illustratrice Giulia Artusa e da Søren Nielsen, in edizione limitata, raffiguranti le illustrazioni dei temi tratti dal libretto, assegnate in quattro estrazioni.
Infine un super premio! Un bracciale in oro del valore di €2.500, assegnato sempre per estrazione.
Insomma, Trollbeads ci tenta e coccola in ogni modo possibile, basti pensare che quest’anno, per gli iscritti al Trollbeads Club, ha riservato la sorpresa di ricevere direttamente al proprio domicilio l’agenda 2022, ben fatta e dalla grafica accattivante.

Trollbeads Flower Garden Spring 2022 Collection, Review
The new Trollbeads collection dedicated to spring, released on Friday 21 January, is undoubtedly an ode to flowers, it is no coincidence that the name that has been chosen, “Flower Garden”, embodies the imagination of an enchanted place where everything is poetry.
The garden is a bit of a metaphor for taking care, a powerful and extraordinary form of love and gratitude that can be applied first of all to ourselves and subsequently to others, cultivating body, soul and spirit.

And it is thanks to this passion that I had the pleasure of meeting a special person: Karin Gillett.
Karin, an American collector, left us a few days ago and the news of her passing threw everyone into despair. An eclectic, strong-willed, very generous, positive woman with a good word for everyone, she has kept many of us in company every day, with her images of her varied and inimitable compositions, I think Karin can be compared to an icon.

And this collection, of which Søren and the other designers are the creators, tells of flowers, butterflies, cats and a cicada, the first signs of the awakening of nature after the lethargy of winter, and of the desire for color to enchant souls.
Let's now go to discover the rich collection that consists of: seven silver beads, a silver stop, four clasps, a glass and silver pendant, a silver ring, two sets with twelve glass beads and two precious stones.
Framed by Buds Bead, is a silver bead that represents a twig with its buds in relief, modeled in a sinuous way so that a pearl or a small round stone can be inserted inside it.
From the first images leaked on the web a few weeks ago, at a glance the bead appeared to me like the tentacle of an octopus, so nothing was relevant to the theme of spring. Now that I have been able to see it live, I can see the idea of the buds on the twig. A small bead to frame another one.

Motto: "Inside a bud a flower’s petals lie in wait, ready to burst into joyful colours".
Cicada Melody Bead, is a silver bead depicting a cicada with spread wings. The four wings are finely engraved and at the apex it seems to see, in each one, a small heart; the back of the wings is smooth, while the insect's body stretches and wraps around itself, creating the space needed to put the bracelet on.
The bead inserted in the bangle or in the foxtail bracelet takes on the appearance of a small pendant. I noticed that the final part of the body tapers until it becomes pointed, it remains protected by one of the wings but, in handling it, it can happen to get stung, which does not happen once it is worn in the bracelet.
What I prefer about this bead is the processing of the wings and, as a whole, I like how it knows how to take its space as a pendant.

Motto: "Listen carefully and hear the cicadas sing sweet melodies of love".
Caring Leaves Bead, is a round-shaped silver bead that sees a series of leaves intersecting, with incised veins and surmounted by some buds.
Leaves have become a constant in the Trollbeads collections and this bead seems to replace Leaves of Grace, which was retired just this year.
Medium in size, it certainly stands out in any composition.
Designer: Søren Nielsen.
Cost: € 45.
Motto: “Care, protect, and await new life to bloom”.
Cheerful Cat Bead, is a small silver bead depicting a cat whose tail, arching towards one of the front legs, forms the space to insert the bracelet.
Playful and abstract, I find the bead both pleasant and well done in the pose.
Gamble? Perhaps the price could have been lower.

Motto: "Let me leave a paw print in your heart”.
Petals Unfold Bead, is a silver bead formed by four petals resting on a small ring and surmounted by some small spheres as if they were drops of dew. A series of small vertical incisions emphasize what are the ribs of the petals.
This bead reminds me of Clarity Flower, released in the spring 2021 collection and which has met with great success precisely for its graceful shape which can also contain a pearl or a small round stone.
Will Corolla also have the same success? Posterity will judge!

N.B. = Of the whole collection, this bead was missing at the time of writing the review, so I used institutional photography taken from the Trollbeads website.
Serene Beauty Bead, is a mixed bead, that is in silver and pearls. The three pearls are white and come together to form a triangle; on one side of the bead, six leaves of different sizes branch off, with incised veins and three small four-petaled flowers perch between one pearl and another.
The design of this bead is very reminiscent of Triple Pearl White, a historic bead that just this year was withdrawn, probably to make way for this renewed version that I particularly like, finding it complete.

Framed by Flower Bead, is a mixed bead, in silver and pearl, where the corolla of the flower encloses the white pearl, surrounded by many tiny spheres that illuminate it. While the stem of the flower, enriched with three leaves with incised veins, folding back on itself creates the space to insert a pearl, a small round stone or any other small silver bead.
A more captivating and romantic version than the simple Framed by Buds Bead. A bead that I think is of great effect but with a price that is perhaps too high.

Motto: “Frame changes in life to harvest beauty”.
Butterfly Spacer in silver is precisely that kind of bead that is called "stop" because a small rubber ring is placed inside it to make it friction and remain stationary in the desired position, often used in the bangle.
A series of small butterflies with finely decorated wings, chasing each other around the stop, also present small bud spheres.
A decidedly romantic and graceful stop, suitable for any type of composition.

Motto: “See them dance”.
Butterfly Clasp in silver, sees the flat shape with the two opposing carabiners, surmounted by four leaves and a butterfly with the same design as the stop.
Practical, sturdy and impressive, it opens and closes easily, undoubtedly an advantage. In my opinion, the closure could have been enriched with more butterflies and fewer leaves.

Motto: “Embrace change and trust your journey”.
Beloved Cat Clasp in silver, sees two cats opposing each other and giving life, through paws and tails, to the two carabiners.
The lever for opening the larger carabiner is a paw of one of the two cats and by lifting up to let the ring of the bracelet enter, the fingertips are highlighted in the second lever, a nice detail.
Not particularly practical but certainly with attention to the smallest details.

Motto: “What greater gift than the love of a cat. - Charles Dickens”.
Hidden Beauty Clasp is in silver, with two petals worked with fine knurling, which envelop the clasp in an embrace, while on one side only there is a small white cabochon pearl held by three griffes. There are also some small buds.
Sufficiently practical, this clasp is the perfect continuation of the bead Corolla, together they will make any bracelet rich and precious, even the most unadorned, since sometimes very few beads are enough to still have a jewel that can be admired. The only sore point is the price.

Motto: “Wish for something special and take the chance to get it”.
Spiritual Butterfly Clasp is a silver clasp with stone, one on each side: the Prenite with Tourmaline Quartz, both faceted. Two butterflies together with some buds surmount it.
Practical clasp on the side of the larger carabiner, the smaller carabiner has the opening pin inserted between the two butterflies and is more uncomfortable and with less space to insert the ring of the bracelet.
Remember the previous Purple & green Clasp.
Overall, I find it pleasant but I prefer functionality in the clasps and this is not much.

Butterfly Pendant consists of a glass sphere in green, yellow, brown and white colors joined together in a triple spiral effect that ends with a small bubble in the center. The silver carabiner has an applied butterfly and two small buds. Suitable for the Changeable Fantasy Necklace.
As a whole I find it pretty, although the colors are not relevant to the other glass beads in the collection.

Cat at Ease Fantasy Ring is a silver ring in which we see the cat and its tail wrap around creating the shank of the ring, where a screw pin allows you to insert a glass bead or a stone or any other bead that has the characteristics of dimensions suitable to be slipped into it.
Like the Mermaid Fantasy Ring, care must be taken when removing it from the finger as the bead tends to slip out.
The idea and the sinuosity of the cat are valuable but, to my taste, I find the ring too high and bulky in its overall pyramid shape, more suitable for large hands.

Peaceful Garden Kit consists of six glass beads made by designers Tashi, Dhundup and Dolma.
Cost: € 225.
Motto: "Let your garden be a place of peace and serenity".
Let's find out all six of them, remembering that they can also be sold individually.
Peace of Mind Bead is a glass bead that has a light green background, transparent cover glass topped with oval olive green polka dots surrounded by a thin white border and a coppery aventurine motif that encloses them, interspersed with small white polka dots; on the sides leaf motifs of the same color as the oval polka dots, also enclosed by the subtle coppery aventurine motif.
A bead with a refined design, with an easy to match color, which undoubtedly refers to spring in bloom.
Cost: € 45.
Motto: "Lean back, feel the sun caress your face and enjoy a moment of silence".
Seeds of Joy Bead in opaque coral red glass, surmounted by small variegated lilac and purple polka dots to emulate the corolla of the petunia.
The full-colored beads lend themselves to compositions of character and contrast, the ones I prefer.
Cost: € 45.
Motto: “All the flowers of tomorrow comes from the seeds of today”.
Garden Path Bead is a glass bead in opaque ivory color, with a Greek decoration in copper aventurine.
The bead seems to recall the path of the gardens with labyrinths. A neutral color that can be easily combined tone-on-tone or in contrasting compositions.
Cost: € 45.
Motto: “What lies at the end of the secret paths in the flower garden?”.
Tiger Lily Bead is a glass bead with a milky powder-colored base and a slightly amber transparent cover glass, decorated with two flowers with eight lanceolate and variegated petals in orange, light blue and burgundy.
For those who love flower decorations in glass beads, this is a different variant from the usual ones we are used to and for this reason I would say appreciable, as well as more refined.
Cost: € 45.
Motto: “Be amazed”.
Serenity Bead is a glass bead with a milky ivory base, with a slightly slightly amber transparent cover glass, surmounted by a thin double-twisted white wire and a thin double-twisted copper aventurine wire. Then two groups of variegated petals in white and purple contrast each other.
Essential in design and elegant in appearance, neutral in color, it adapts well to any composition.
Cost: € 45.
Motto: "Be present, stay calm and feel inner peace".
Happy Climber Bead is a glass bead with an apricot-colored base and transparent cover glass, with stylized decorations that imitate the narcissus and its trumpet, variegated in white, beige, purple and burgundy.
Keeping in mind that the narcissus is predominantly white and yellow, excluding the yellow or orange variants, I believe that this bead does not have adequate chromatic characteristics to represent it. Of the whole set this is the bead that I like least.
Cost: € 45.
Motto: "Every garden should have a flowering vine".
When we say spring we think of bright shades such as the green of the buds, the pink of the flowers that have just blossomed, this is an atypical set to represent spring since the shades are opaque, almost more suited to an autumn palette.
Yet they have their own charm and what sets them apart I believe is refinement.
The podium is reserved for Seeds of Joy Bead, Garden Path Bead and Tiger Lily Bead.
Flower Garden Kit consists of six faceted glass beads made by designer Neetu Gupta.
Cost: € 275.
Motto: “Live with grace in your heart and flowers in your garden”.
Let's find out all six of them, remembering that they can also be sold individually.
Blossom Orange Bead is a faceted glass bead with a transparent amber base on which six three-petaled orange flowers are superimposed, surrounded in brown, thin zebra-striped lines in white and transparent cover glass. Inside each flower there is a small bubble that acts as a pistil.
The orange blossom, which would be the name given to the orange flower, is actually white and has five lanceolate petals, here the version is certainly reinterpreted, since I see no connection with the mentioned flower.
However, a pleasant bead that will easily match with neutral, green and orange colors.
Cost: € 55.
Motto: "If you could capture the sun, the result would be luminous orange flowers".
Stylish Flowers Bead with a very light green background, sees the trio of bright green, white and coppery aventurine overlap in a wave movement. The white of the three is the predominant color for line thickness. Above are placed four three-petalled flowers, always in coppery aventurine, surrounded by a thin white line.
If the names are important, here too there is no connection with the aforementioned plumeria, also called frangipani, which actually has five white and yellow petals. There are other color variants but the one represented in the bead does not match.
Beyond this clarification, which may not be of interest, the bead still has its own appeal, green is always a popular color especially in compositions dedicated to nature.
Cost: € 55.
Motto: "Every flower is a soul blossoming in nature - Gerard De Nerval".
Green in Bloom Bead has an opaque base in aqua green and three variegated five-petaled flowers in contrasting shades of green, delimited by a thin plum-colored line and transparent light green cover glass. The bubble in the center of each flower is also present here.
The color of the bead is particularly bright and I appreciate the tone on tone, but I have to highlight once again the almost no relevance to the name given to the bead, since the jasmine flower is typically white and with star-shaped lanceolate petals.
Cost: € 55.
Motto: "Choose green flowers for wellness and a promise of good fortune".
Sun & Soil Bead is a bead with a variegated background in a wave motif, at times concentric, in brown, white, light blue and periwinkle, surmounted by pairs of horizontal lines in coppery aventurine.
The facet emphasizes the color of the bead making it particularly elegant. I think it can become the flagship bead of this set due to its characteristics that make it suitable for various types of compositions.
Cost: € 55.
Motto: "Bright rays of sun is kissing the soil and makes beauty start to grow".
Flower Bed Bead seems to be a color variant of Sun & Soil Bead, where pastel shades of green and pink and golden aventurine blend together giving life to a bead with decidedly spring colors.
Cost: € 55.
Motto: "In the morning dew, the flower bed awakes refreshed".
Fantasy Orchids Bead is a color variant of the Blossom Orange Bead, with an amber base, three-petalled apricot-colored flowers surrounded by a very thin brown line and thin ivory zebra stripes; the cover glass is transparent and inside each flower there is a small bubble to act as a pistil.
The bead at a glance is really difficult to distinguish from Blossom Orange Bead, only by pairing them can you see that Fantasy Orchids Bead has finer features and a generally less bright color.
In my opinion it turns out to be a sort of duplicate that makes no sense to exist within a set.
I omit the relevance to the name, which I cannot find this time as well.

Motto: “Choose fresh coral for happiness and joy".
This set is an apotheosis of flowers, as four out of six beads see them represented. The colors, compared to the previous set, are brighter and perhaps more relevant to spring. Overall, a pleasant set, despite the two beads that are very similar in feature and color.
The podium is reserved for Sun & Soil Bead, Flower Bed Bead and Green in Bloom Bead.
Garnet Feldspar Bead is a faceted stone in which inclusions of garnet, amaranth and green, brown, beige are evident.
Designer: Lise Aagaard.
Cost: € 65.
Motto: "Garnet Feldspar is for the power of positive thinking. Feldspar increases self esteem and awareness, and garnet is known to drive away negativity".
Prehnite with Tourmalinated Quartz Bead is a faceted stone with a very light and translucent green color with contrasting dark green needle inclusions.
Designer: Lise Aagaard.
Cost: € 65.
Motto: “Prehnite brings protection and helps to be prepared. In the past, prehnite was known as a stone of magic and is said to aid spirit communication”.
As a whole, I believe the “Flower Garden” collection reflects the typical design and appeal of Trollbeads, where the various materials meet, giving life to many small works of art.
Trollbeads, to celebrate spring and reward loyal fans, then thought of a special Italian contest, which began on January 21st and will end on December 31st.
At the same time as a purchase, you will receive the book "Your precious stories" (make sure it is sealed with cellophane) inside which a postcard with a code has been inserted that will be entered in the appropriate box on the website www.storietrollbeads.it/letuestoriepreziose, upon registration.
